We had a great feed at Shortiez. Tropical burger is tasty and The Maxi was great too, good prices and the meal will Definitely fill you up. Good customer service as well. I’d recommend stopping in.

Best burger I have had in ages, was so big I couldn’t eat it all so my partner had to eat half! He had the flathead fillets and said they where better than the fish we got at the fish shop on Bowen. Bush beats barrier reef! Well done to the young ladies running the shop they are doing an amazing job

Closes over 30 minutes early on a Friday night, walked into shop at 7:30 signs and websites stats closing time is 8:00pm was offered drinks only. “Pointless cooking if the hot box is empty” so I was informed along with “kitchen closes at 7:00” this was immediately after handing a gentleman his fresh

Hade the chicken fillet (on a bun with lettuce) and hot chips, good service, nice food the only issue I got is to much salt on the chips, but I try to aske for chips with no salt and then add my own salt on it...will come back for sure.

Best fish and chips anywhere. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Always have a fabulous feed. Great value for money.
