Review Mezza Train - Narellan

Outstanding service. Staff are engaging and are happy to discuss menu items. Food was excellent. We shared a mixed platter which was great value. The fried bread with dukka was a nice touch on the table. Great atmosphere and vibe. We're definitely coming back.

I came here for a work party on a Friday night . The service was impeccable, the staff is attentive & friendly. There was belly dancer for entertainment, she was really good. The food was plentiful and the portion is generous. The shish and kafta are delicious, as good as any I've had before, the salads were good, but I've had better. The dips are delicious, my fav is the baba ghanoush The lady fingers are ok, I've had better, the filing could be creamier. The kibeh is delicious. It was busy so it's best to make a booking. The decor is nice but the music is a bit too loud for my liking. There's plenty of parking at the back.

There were a number of issues we had today. 1. As per previous reviews, the staff appear under trained. The staff tried very hard and were very nice, but it was definitely was a bit chaotic. Maybe this will get better in a few months. 2. Our reservation popped up for the mascot resturant, which meant our party had to wait 30 minutes for a table. 3. Our banquets arrived stretched out over 3 hours. It wasn't until one the staff walked over and asked if we wanted the cake before we realised that something was wrong out back. The manager came around and explained they had a big weekend and could not get any supplies.... But than the food arrived. The food was actually quite nice, once it arrived. And the staff actually brought us food from the "train" to fill the time gap. 4. my child needed to be changed outside....that's right outside on a couch because there was "no room for a change table" in the toilets at a family resturant. This is ridiculous. The manager and staff tried to make things better with a discount. We did have to force a reasonable discount. Realistically. The staff were nice and the food was nice. I think in a few months they may be worth more stars. For a 200 person resturant, running out of food is not an options, especially when it isn't your first rodeo and especially not in your first week. We were not the only unhappy people. Please do not use this as a full deterrent, but use it as a warning. If I come back here and it is better, I will change the review.

Great food, atmosphere and the staff are amazing. We are regular customers there because their food is amazing.

Amazing staff so friendly and helpful and just lovely !!! Amazing food the lady fingers spinach and cheese are so light and delicious everything was perfect and cooked to perfection amazing authentic flavours makes you feel right at home. Would definitely recommend and come again !!!

We had just visited mezza train not long ago. We ordered 2 coffees that were very cold and couldn't drink, we had asked for them to be extra hot. The waitress was happy to make us a new one for the second time but again was cold. Not a good experience at this place.

We had a really good dining experience here. Food was fresh with decent sized servings. The dining area is very spacious and clean. The service is great and staff are friendly. Katy was such a great host and very attentive. Suggested a few dishes to us which we absolutely enjoyed! Will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family!
