If you want an amazing kebab, go here! Seriously delicious - we had the shish kebab, doner kebab and the spinach and cheese gozleme. The shish kebab lamb pieces were cooked on charcoal and tasted amazing. I have to say, the bread was so fresh and delicious - it is made right in front of you and placed in the woodfire oven. If you're ever in the area, definitely worth checking out.
My partner and I have been going there for years, they have the best kebabs in Melbourne and the staff are always friendly.
Definitely recommend!
Cheeseburger Anyone? "Where's The Sauce"?
+4
I have tried so many restaurants in this street and so i had to try this.
Very busy little place and smells great!
Chicken sheesh or shish kebab was my stand out! Moist , juicy chicken cooked to perfection! Full of flavour and satisfying . My down fall was the salad was very sour and vinegary which got onto my rice and wasnt pleasant.. rice could do with more seasoning. The mix plate was also great. Everything was cooked well and had a lots of flavour. The meat patty was a little dry but wasnt to fussed as the taste was there. Fresh bread was amazing.. Watching the lady make it was pretty cool and then eating it hot and fresh was even better! Tzatsiki was ok... eggplant dip was nice but the beetroot dip was my favorite! And i dont even like betroot normally..
Was very full and satisfied after this meal. No cheeseburger needed and i will be back.
Big meals, tasty. Having not ordered this type of food before, we found the menu a bit daunting. Lamb was a little dry, but well seasoned, bread big & soft.
Best Kebabs in town everything is made fresh daily, including the Turkish bread. Be prepared to wait a while in the evenings especially on the weekends.
Amazing kebabs. Great service but extremely busy on friday nights after 7pm. Very clean and quality food. I recommend the lamb kebab with extra garlic sauce and cheese.
Was actually my first ever kebab. Only had the basic lamb with extra garlic sauce, but I was super impressed!Definitely coming back for more!
The fit out looks like a country take-away from the 80's, the music is waaay to loud, and the two Turkish chicks that work there screech at eachother from across the "restaurant" quite comical, but also very jarring. This place is just way too loud. Good tasty meat, fresh crunchy salad (dressed well with sumac & lemon juice). The dips are delicious & authentic. I'm not often in Narre Warren, but I wouldn't not come back.... Perhaps get takeaway instead. There's better in Melbourne, but this place is decent.
Awesome food! Best part was the bread! Turkish pizza = Heaven
Hands-on quality with these kebabs. I'm not going to claim that the adana kebab and chips I had from here was the best one I've eaten in the Melbourne area, even though it was in the top third (and I've eaten a lotta kebabs.) What made it stand out was the hands-on hard work by the couple who owns the shop. As I was eating, I watched the bloke making his Turkish bread from scratch, rolling out the dough, letting it rise, punching it down, even running a mop (soaked in fresh water, I presume) along the baking surface inside the oven to make sure it was clean. When I ordered chips with my meal, I saw there was a batch sitting in a bain marie tray, and resigned myself to the realisation that I'd be eating some cold leftovers. But no -- the woman at the register gave them another dunking in the boiling oil before she cupped them up for me, so they were hot and extra-crispy from the double-frying. This is no quick 'n dirty kebab shop!
I liked the sanger I got, too. The adana slices were zesty and spicy. This place does their kebabs sandwich-style, with the meat and veg placed in a piece of Turkish bread cut lengthwise. It's moist, with the good garlic sauce that other reviewers cited mixing with the oily red drippings from the meat. It could have used a little more of the latter to fill the bread batter, but what I got was plenty satisfying. I'd hit this place again if I lived anywhere near here, because the Turkish pizzas and pides looked awfully good too. Especially since I know they were crafted in-house, by hand.
Surprisingly good kebab!. Ordered a mixed kebab with garlic & chilli.
Went there without much expectation but was quite surprised.
Turkish bread made that day, fresh salad, nice garlic sauce and the meat was seasoned well and not dry.
*Only complaint would be that they could have filled it with a little more meat. (like Melbourne Kebab Station).
Absolutely amazing kebabs!
The Turkish bread is made fresh instore everyday. Tender, real lamb. Fresh salads and great sauces to choose from.
These are by far, the best kebabs I have ever eaten. 10/10 every time.....
Oks. They have really good turkish pizza
OMG their kebabs are amazing. Wrapped in Turkish bread and the garlic sauce (don't even get me started). A MUST when you are in Nazza Wazza.
Yum. Homemade, freah turkish bread, home made dips, yummy meat, garlic sauce, lots of salad options, nice owner, good place
Best kebab in the area.....dona kebab in turkish bread with extra garlic sauce. The baclava is amazing!
