The salted caramel crunch pancakes were scrumptious...perfectly light, perfectly crunchy and perfectly sweet...the dragon shake had a bit too much cream, but the blue heaven fizzy drink was super refreshing. The atmosphere and service was wonderful and super quick as always...whoops I ate too much!

Came to this particular outlet for the first time and was quite impressed. I ordered the chocolate jubilee pancakes and my friend ordered an orange juice. The pancakes were so delicious! Perfectly presentee with plenty of strawberries, chocolate sauce and ice cream. It was so indulgent. My friend also mentioned the orange juice was really nice as I was freshly squeezed.
I really enjoyed the ambience, and the staff member looking after us was really friendly. I would return if I'm in the area again.
A very well located pancake parlor, with a good ambience, unfortunately they have only vegetarian option potato pancake which was delicious but, definitely too filling, visit with a big appetite to try there savoury and desert pancake 😊 it's a pancake heaven for sure.

Went here after not going to pancake parlour for years. Happy to say that the IT is still as tasty as I remember it. Need to make an excuse to come back soon and have another one. Service was great, only problem I had was the coffee was terrible - was cappuccino was like hot water.

My son had the child’s duchess pancakes with strawberries and some hash browns. I had a gluten free pancake with blueberries and the best almond milk hot chocolate ive ever tasted and my partner had the traditional bacon and eggs with a latte. All so good! Served quickly.

The restaurant in total is a work of art, that is something I found.
Their seating and tables are perfectly arranged; not soo close that you feel like your in a hamster cage, not too far that there is space being wasted, and also perfect enough that the waiter and/or waitress can walk through.
The staff members are a delightful people.
The food such as the pancakes don't just look good on plate but really do taste really good; like seriously no one can do pancakes better than these guys.
The hot chocolate I had was quite rich and filling. It not just another watered down hot type you would get in some other restaurant.
However the one thing that have been bugging me about this place is the lack of communication.
Like everytime I visited here I always noticed that the waiters/waitresses always rushing, like they go over the manus and stuff soo fast that it sounds like they mubbled the words. And this happened twice with me where they completely messed up my payment methods.
I would recommend anyone to stop by here for quick snack or anything. But keep in mind to book in a table on advance because this place does generally get extremely busy.
Good, fast & friendly service. The chicken tenders were nice and crispy and the accompanying herb fries were enjoyable too. Loved my Jamaican Banana pancakes, although I couldn't eat all of it. Kids enjoyed their Strawberry Duchess and Alice's Wonderland Surprise. The restaurant has a nice whimsical feel and the kids enjoyed watching the granny riding her contraption on the ceiling. My only negative would be that it's a little pricey. Good place to come to satisfy a sweet craving.
Was here for dinner on the grand final night to avoid the crowd in the city. Nice staff, efficient service. Was checking if we were satisfied with everything all the time.
The staff are usually very friendly. Anytime I've had an issue it has been resolved quickly and with apologies. Prices are on the high side, but you definitely get what you pay for.
Whimsical and quirky, The Pancake Parlour at Fountain Gate has an elegant Alice in Wonderland feel to it. The pancakes are light, fluffy and extremely filling (though they have gotten slightly smaller and pricier over the years), but the student deal (choose one meal and one drink from a selection for $16.50) is pretty good value. I love the tall soda glasses the drinks come served in and there are a variety of menu options to suit all tastes and ages. Great for a family treat.
I'd heard The Pancake Parlour serves the best pancakes in Melbourne, so I had to visit it once on my trip to Australia. I wasn't disappointed.
I went there post dinner, late night, just to have a bite or two. The Chocolate Chip Pancakes were great - who doesn't like hot, melted Begian chocolate drizzled all over? Next came the Hot Buttered Walnuts Pancake - they were so good! They had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. All this with a warm Cappuccino; the best way to end a long, tiring day.
Have been here quite a few times. Each time it is always a satisfying experience. Food has always been served in a timely manner and is delicious. I'm a sucker for maple syrup and there's is tasty. Favourite dishes include the savoury pancakes and potato pancakes.
How can anyone hate pancake palour! It will always remain one of my favourite places ever! I love pancake palour and they are leaps and bounds over any other pancake place. The staff at fountain gate are really friendly and they fact that they are open till 3am is perfect for someone like myself who works in hospitality, whom sometimes just wants a good meal after work!

Good but pricey. I do like to go to the Pancake Parlour a lot, and always suggest it as a place to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. I love most of what's on their menu, but the Barramundi, the Cheese and Potato Pancake, the Salted Caramel Crunch, the Swiss Mountain Malt and the Banana Split are consistently good. And their salads are always sooooo good. The service is good, even when it gets really busy - although when they aren't, they sometimes have the entirety of their staff rostered on and each of them pester you from the moment you sit down, which I just hate; but I've learned to get over it. I especially love their late hours - I am always craving pancakes and the fact that they're open until 1 on weekdays and 3 on weekends is so good. Their prices however, suck (Although they do have good deals for students and lunch) and the sizes of their breakfast sucks. Other pancake parlours are more generous with their servings.

However, MASSIVE disappointment came my way when I decided to order the Tabriz World Famous. It was the worst thing I've ever tasted. It broke my heart that I had wasted $20 on something I couldn't eat. Don't ever try that.
Overall, I still love PP for it's sweet menu! Although it a bit pricey but anything for food!
I should add that the staff in every PP I've been to have always been the most enthusiastic people ever!
Visited the pancake parlour in fountain gate after taking the family to the pictures was very impressed by the quality of the meals and the service by the staff look forward to visiting again soon as it was a great way to finish the day.

Bloody awesome breakfast. The Pancake Parlour serve their breakfast menu all day until 5pm everyday. I suggest the eggs benedict with their home-made hash browns!
We came here for dinner. Luckily there was no queue and we could get in quite fast. But when we left slightly past 9pm there was a queue.
There were plenty of choices for sweet and savoury pancakes. The food was nice. The ambience was okay. The place can get a bit noisy if full but it shows the vibrancy. I would recommend this place. Book first if you know what time you are coming.

Pancake Parlour always our comfort food. Never fails to satisfy us. We couldn’t fault any of their menus. We love the savoury and sweets too! Their kid’s meals were generous in portions. The only reason why we gave them 4 stars is their slow service. It took about 45 mins to about an hour for our order to arrive - thanks to one of their crew who noticed we were still waiting for our orders. We understand that we dine here during peak hours that’s why didn’t fuss about it. Hope they’ll fine ways to minimise this incident. We still plan to come back and still recommend Pancake Parlour.

Breakfast with my daughter, young male waiter was very nice and helpful. Food and drinks were perfect. Had a great experience.
Great place to have breakfast or coffee catch up.Service was quick, but we went at 9.00am when they open.we had the big country breakfast, so be hungry if you order it..
When we went inside they advised us that they were short of staff and asked us to come back in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later they were able to accommodate us pretty quickly and the sweet pancakes arrived without delay. Generously topped pancakes (more so than another location which we go to regularly) and the black coffee had a caramel coloured light froth which tasted great and even had caramel notes.
The food quality and the venue are good yet I feel the meals are a bit pricey for what you get.
