So much love for Rocketfuel. Consistently delicious coffee. I always drive a crazy route to get there, but when you have young children this drive-through coffee is totally worth it :-)
Such a quick and easy option on the way to theatre school. Service is friendly and helpful. The hotter the coffee the better the taste.
We live north of the river but every time we venture south we always stop to get our amazing coffee ��

Really excellent coffee and milk. Drove out of my way a few times to go here. Would have given 5 stars except for staff arguing with me when they overcharged me. If your register shows a different price than the menu board, then customer gets the cheaper price shown. It is the law. Fix the menu board if you want to raise prices.

Lovely strong coffee. Easy drive through access and reasonable price. Bit of a wait but was ok as I was in no hurry. Maybe bigger signage for where to place your order as somebody got in queue behind me but hadn’t stopped at the first order box.
I get coffee here on my way to work and it's pretty quick, and consistently good coffee. I like that you can drive through and the staff are always nice.
I've been here 3 or 4 times and have yet to be disappointed.
Coffee is strong and smooth, fairly quick to come out via drive through which is very convenient when you're on the go.
Don't mix this one up with the UWA branch, which has been consistently bad.
My regular drive through coffee stop en route to work. Good quality coffee and had decent toasted sandwich for lunch the other day - pumpkin, feta, spinach and sundried tomato. Pretty tasty and easy

This location is likely more familiar to UWA students or north-living foodies who 1) have a reason to pass by, and 2) care enough about the quality of coffee to make the small detour around the drive-through, up the one way road, and optionally around the back to return to uni.
At $4 for an 8 oz regular (small in non-marketing terms) cappucino, it's steeper than the average. That much said, the quality matches the price - a distinctive difference if you're a coffee enthusiast, a subtle difference even if you're not. The body and texture is not just warm but welcoming, smooth, just the tiniest hint of bitter from the roast to remind you you're drinking coffee. Really can't fault it - a good cuppa for sure.
Meanwhile, their $6 cold drip is interesting. It's much bigger, for one, so you do get your value - it's more like 2 cups in a glass bottle, and those of you who remember what cold drip tastes like know that's a lot to have. It's bean juice, and I say this in the most favourable way possible - it's neo-coffee, the essence of the roast and only that extracted over a gruellingly long soak... it is, purely, bean juice. Comes with milk if you want, and if you're more about the drink and less about the sanctity you may want to try asking for sugar, too (gasp, how dare he!).
I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to visit, but I know this will be an instant hit for some of you... you know the sort you are. So 4.0 it is!
Tl;dr: good drive-through alternative if you need some class in your commute. Maybe even a good place to sit in at if the traffic going up to Claremont looks horrendous, since they had a nice big strip of vacant parking when we passed by?
Not over this neck of the woods often, but when I am always go to Rocketfuel for that smooth silky long Mac. ☕️
Great coffee & the drive through makes it very easy/lazy!! As long as you are heading west on Stirling hwy, heading east is tricker but still worth it
Love a good drive through coffee, especially when it is 48382 times better than say McDonald's or Muzz Buzz! Rocketfuel is conveniently located right near my place of work and as my usual coffee shop wasn't open today I drove through this morning on my way to work. Ordered a Double Espresso and a strong Long Black. The large size cup is already 3 shots but the friendly girl offered me 4! Win! Service was efficient and I only waited about a minute for my coffee. Perfect for those on the go. The blend is divine and smooth, even found the espresso very easy to drink. I'll def be back to try the muesli!
Delicious long mac! Had been driving past this place for ages and finally popped in for a coffee.$5.20 is a bit much for a medium size coffee, but it was delicious and creamy :) will be back for more!

Go there every day. I start every morning with a cup of rocket fuel coffee. It is a bit more expensive than normal but I think it is worth it. Nine times out of ten my coffee is great, sometimes it is burnt but it's usually when someone new is making it. Everyone who works there is very friendly. The drive through is an added bonus.
Drive through is the KEY!. Slightly spendy but delicious and creamy coffee and oh so convenient!

Okay, I'm originally from the Eastern States, where coffee is cheap, amazingly consistent in quality & quick. I can't help but realise it is like pulling hens-teeth here in Perth locating a Cafe that makes exceptional coffee consistently. And I have finally done it! Rocket Fuel has a robust coffee blend, and they boast of roasting their own beans! They've figured it out!
It's uncommon for most consumers to realise that Barista's are working with Science. The grind needs to be adjusted based on humidity, the measurements of grounds, the length of extraction and the pressure used to push through the group-heads, the stretching of the milk - honestly, it's a science!
So if having a keep cup in the queue for the coffee creation is slowing them down even slightly, in a cafe that is drive-thru and walk in - let them not give you a discount for it - they're not refusing the use of keep cups... just discounting your coffee price. - HAHA and if they "lose you" for not discounting any longer, then you'll run outta coffee shops in Perth before the years out..
In saying all of the above - Rocket Fuel isn't cheap, but it isn't too expensive either, a medium skim latte is $4.50 - quite expensive in comparison to Sydney where the same coffee is $3.20!
But I am not giving this cafe up for anything! haha I find myself driving from NorthPerth (my home) to Nedlands even on a Saturday to grab me my coffee! Love it.

I was told by my colleagues that Rocketfuel sells the best coffee in Nedlands. I had to try it of course! Rocketfuel is located on Stirling Highway, right next to Caltex Petrol Station. A special feature of this place is the drive through service which I used quite often subsequent to the first visit. My first visit was right after lunch but on foot! I ordered a Berry Smoothie as I was still hungry after lunch. It was great, milky and creamy, yum! I had a Mocha on the second visit. It was also good, maybe not the best I had tried but good! Hehe Rocketfuel also sells savoury and sweet muffins which I often buy for breakfast especially the savoury type. The Three Cheese Muffin was awesome! I forgot to take a photo though..woops! There is only a few seats inside Rocketfuel, not really a place to dine in, but great for takeaway, either by foot or by car! Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

A godsend on rainy days, and on early runs to/from the airport. Coffee is good, and appreciate they often serve people a few minutes before official opening time. Rare in hospo!

coffee was fantastic here, a little slow waiting in line though, however after a few minutes it sped up. The lady at the window was very friendly also.
