Efficient service and a good range of prepared food. I really like the prawn and avocado sushi - fresh, with the right amount of mayonnaise, and delicious wasabi.
If you're in a rush and you need cheap food, this is the place to be - the chicken katsu don never disappoints, and for $7.50 (it's only gone up 60 cents in the 4 years I've been visiting) you get a rice and chicken katsu delivered to you in literally less than 3 minutes. In fact, once it came out in 33 seconds. That's reeeeeal fast food right there.
Have been going to Nagano for a number of years. Haven't tried everything on the menu but what I have tried I like. The chicken katsu don is my favourite and the chicken ramen is good when it's cold out. My work also orders their sushi catering plates occasionally.
The servings are usually a little more rice than I can eat but most of my friends manage their servings without a problem.
They don't have an eftpos machine so it's cash only (similar to the other small food places on either side).
I'll gladly walk all the way down Broadway to go here. The sushi is so tasty, and it's pretty good value for money! I haven't tried the other menu items, but in terms of sushi at least it's great.
Good Japanese. I have a stats class at 6pm every Monday at uni this semester so always come by to grab a takeaway bento box for dinner beforehand-very tasty!! Would recommend
I always get the sushi when I come here, so I can't say too much about the other meals. As I keep returning, I obviously like it. They always let me get extra wasabi for free which is a nice touch.

I usually stick to Teriyaki tofu, and even that varies. Sometimes there's way too much oil, other times it's perfect.
Once I had the sushi and the rice tasted awful and plastic, but that may be due to the fact I bought it late in the day so it wasn't fresh. However I tried the sushi again, and this time it was quite good. I also tried the katsu fish once, it was horrible. The fish tasted very fake and even a little bit frozen in the middle. Very disappointed. However I still end up coming back every now and then since it's close to uni, and hoping for the best.
Price is pretty cheap, could get much better quality with only a few dollars more, and service is average.
I love Nagano, and I am a sushi fanatic!! It's always fresh, right in front of you and delicious. Also probably the cheapest I've seen in Perth, perhaps save for takas! $7 salmon and avocado rolls are tough to beat!!
Fantastic! Sushi and hot food is generous and delicious. Teriyaki tofu is especially good. Really cheap- great for uni students.
Love!. So Nagano was an intergral part of my diet during my 6 years at uni. On many occasions we made the walk down from uni to Broadway just to have the delicious and incredibly filling food. The service was always exceptionally quick, and the older gentleman was always beyond friendly! Being a vegetarian, there isn't much choice, but this is my favourite vegan sushi in Perth by a long shot. They have two types of vegetarian sushi - one is your stock standard carrot and cucumber roll, but the best one is the seaweed and beancurd sushi. This delicious sushi is rolled in sesame seeds, and is absolutely delicious and very very filling. For $7 you get 8 large pieces of sushi. The teriyaki tofu is another favourite, and this meal is enormous. Super tasty, very quick, and very cheap meal!

Great Sushi. A better alternative than uni food.
The sushi is great and cheap and the pieces are large. Furthrmore, you guys aren't cheap with the filling either. The udon and katsu chicken was very average, it felt a bit like staple food. But then again the price wasn't too bad.
Very fast service.
Good value. I had a little spot of lunch here today, and even if it isn't the best Japanese in the world, it is still value for what you get. My favourites have been the teriyaki tofu and katsu chicken. Also, way better off getting sushi from here than from uni.

The people who run this place obviously aren't Japanese but the food is well priced with a good range of the usual suspects on the menu from bento boxes to katsu dons and a good variety of sushi. Love the salmon and avocado sushi and the $3 bubble tea!
The wait was really quick for fresh food. The katsu was really crispy and the rice was well cooked. I wished there could be Mayo though 😃

Simple, delicious with a friendly and lovely attendant. Diverse menu and options for meals' sizes, dine in or take way.
Whatever the lady at the front of house is being paid, she deserves more! Friendliest person ever, and remembers my favourite order even if it's been weeks between visits. Food is made fresh to order and is delicious.
The lady who does counter has an absolutely delightful personality, her smile and enthusiasm lights up the whole room and lifts customers' mood! :) Never have I come out of here not smiling a little wider. :))
Quick service, lots of options and good sushi. The Karaage don is quite good as well. They have a cash only policy.
