great food and great atmosphere! The owner lent us two bicycles once we had ordered our food to quickly drop off at the bottle shop! such a nice guy and great staff! would without a doubt recommend!
Had the maddest sweet potato bolognese! Was absolutely beautiful! The staff were amazing and very friendly. Highly recommend this place if your on the Island. Will definitely be coming back next time we are here.
So impressed with this quality cafe! Scallywags has the best crew on any pirate ship i have ever been on...and the Pesto Mushroom burger was amazing!! They even made it vegan style for me. Go there for good piratey vibes, amazing healthy food and great coffee! β ππ
Great place to stop and have a rest from the elements and enjoy a coffee and nice bite to eat.
Plenty of comfortable inside (open air) seating, and well protected from the hot spring sun. Nice breeze flows through the sides.
Decor is amazing and funny. All pirate themed.

I had a hankering for fresh salad and Scallywags certainly delivered. Fun vibe and very friendly staff. The salad was super fresh and the fish (mackerel) was really tasty. A happening place that was busy but service was still quick. Highly recommended.
We came to the island for our anniversary and we had breakfast here 2 of the 3 days we stayed so that tells you something.
I would eat here every day if I could the atmosphere the decor this place is amazing.
The coffee was one of the best on the island.
The staff are super friendly and chilled.
I would recommend the homemade beans they were delicious And the pancakes I could have eaten 2 plates.
We will definitely be returning.

Went here for my Birthday lunch and was not disappointed! The energy here is amazing. No doubt the BEST place to get food on Magnetic Island. Not to be missed. Has the best decor, service and food. Great value for great portion sizes and quality. As someone who is vegan, I loved the variety of plant based options and the reassurance we got from the staff that they would provide fully vegan meals for us. We got the pesto mushroom burger with added pineapple, the loaded sweet potato with tofu bolognese and their freshly made blueberry cheesecake which was just divine. Everything was so fresh and yummy and wholesome. Healthy but hearty. Can't wait to come back to Maggie Island just for this! MUCH LOVE <3

We had a huge breakfast. Hubby had the pancakes with high quality fruit and delicious yoghurt.
I had the Vego breakfast which had 2 big hash browns garlic mushrooms spinach and scrambled eggs.
There is a kids menu and kids corner with a play area.
Coffee is good and all the quaint little pirate touches are great talking points.

Had breakfast here on 8 July 2022. The place was quite packed, but despite that they can bring everything (2 lattes and 2 breakfast plate) in under ten minutes. Good food too.
If you only go to one place on Maggie Island, go to Scallywags. The owners are so warm and welcoming and look amazing in their pirate themed outfits. There is a Scallywag ship for the kids to play on and the whole cafe is decorated in a fun, eccentric design. Every corner has something to look at!
The food is phenomenal and the house made pesto deserves a special mention. Perfectly balanced and not overwhelming like many others.
Best coffee I've had on the island.
My only criticism would be that the pancake size is quite small. Still delicious though π
Friendly open and informal cafe/dining, good selection of food and drink, kids love the themed dining. Very good and would definately return
