Left this restaurant in tears......literally! Everything about this place is amazing, the food is unlike anything I've ever tasted.....except in Kathmandu! If you want an authentic Nepalese experience this is the only place in Sydney! Atmosphere is excellent, the owner is passionate about what she does, totally committed to giving you the ultimate dining experience, and willing to alter the spiciness to cater for every taste. The portions are huge, the taste is amazing, this is the ultimate Nepalese dining experience you can have in Sydney by far! Oh and as for the tears, they were a combination of the amazing explosions of flavour and spice, and from the flood of memories from all the amazing restaurants and meals had in Nepal......dont hesitate for a second to try this restaurant, you wont regret it !

This restaurant deserves more than just 5 stars! Truly a hidden gem in Sydney. Every dish that came out was better than the other, the manager was really friendly and I mean genuine friendly, not the annoying type. Reasonably priced and the restaurant has a comfy and "feeling at home" ambience. Definitely will be back for another superb experience!

Their dumplings were amazing, especially the sauce and I loved their chowmein. Was disappointed to see them not having enough stock of drinks, but overall experience was really good. I would definitely recommend anyone who likes Nepalese food to go there.

Very honest and healthy food. Although you have no idea what you should try out at the first visiting, you can trust the quality of food recommended by the owner. She knows what costumers want and expect when it is first visiting. I never had stomachache after having curry there. Try the dumplings with curry!!

Been to several local restaurants in neutral bay but this restuarant is a hidden gem, one of the best Nepalese foods and best service you will ever get and find. Samosa chat, pan fried Momo and goat curry are must try. The food was terrifc and the service was excellent. On the P.S note- I was going through the other reviews, I think Mr Henry Smith should stick with fish and chips instead. This restaurant is amazing with good foods and the best service.

We went to Yak & Yeti as a group of eight. The restaurant was quiet and the service attentive without being intrusive. Complimentary pappadams were brought to the table along with some traditional tea which kept us all happy as we ordered. Service was fast and the food was delicately spiced, flavoursome and served in generous portions. Sauces were slightly more liquid than I am used to but the taste was exquisite. I will be back!

Amazing restaurant!! My husband and I came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We only found out at the end of our meal that this restaurant has been recently taken over by new management. The new owner was really friendly and you can really feel it was genuine friendly, not the "feeling obliged to be friendly" one. We ordered the chicken dumpling "mo mo" for starter and it was truly delicious! I am a big fan of gyoza, dumpling and the like and this is by far the best one that I haven't had for a long time. It also came with their homemade special tomato sauce and boy did we quickly get indulged by the flavour!! We then ordered lamb sekuwa which was also really tasty! Next we ordered rice and eggplant curry plus 2 buttery bread on the side (yes we are big eaters!) and they were so nice and tasty as well! It almost felt like one food was better than the other. We were full at the end of the meal but not feeling sluggish, which is what we all want I guess..The restaurant was also comfortable and had a welcoming atmosphere to it. The owner came by our table every now and then to check how we go with the food and it didn't feel annoying for some reason. Overall, a really great experience, food was superb and reasonably priced, staff were friendly and welcoming, place was great as well. We definitely will return to try their other dishes!

The food in here is terrible. The starters we had were still frozen in the middle. The lamb was as chewy as an old boot. The curries were ok. Not the tastiest. The service was good though. The waitress was lovely and very attentive.

The food was pretty good. Even though the restaurant was empty apart from one table of six, the service was extremely slow. It is hard to see how it can remain in business much longer. The eggplant was completely uncooked so we could not eat it, we told the waitress but there was no apology and we were charged for it anyway. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it.

Had takeaway last night. Outstanding. Looking forward to dining in. The dumplings and samosa chat were the standouts.

It's good food. Yummy, yummy, delicious Nepalese. We've only just had takeaway but the foods always on time and hot. Momo's are superb. Curries are gorgeous. The only downside, Yak and Yeti if you are reading, are the portions. It's quite expensive already and containers get half filled. Otherwise it's great. I do recommend at least trying this place once.
