Review Le Patissier - Neutral Bay

What can I say that people don't already know! Amazing display of cakes, good service and fast coffee, which is a pretty awesome combo for a cafe anywhere really. Tried the blueberry cheesecake which is a staple and somewhat of a yardstick for cheesecake fans like myself, I mean if you can't do an excellent cheesecake you shouldn't bother baking at all ;) Perfect for locals and pedestrians as parking is a bit of a lucky dip in a busy built up area :)

Good Croissant. Nice pastry shop. It is not the best but by far top 5 croissant place in the area. Their cakes are decent as well.

Croissants are really good here. Haven't tried the cakes and chocolate but they look really gunmy!

I am a frequent customer in La Patissier and the staff is wonderful and very flexible to accommodate the needs of their customers. I had to order a birthday cake for my friend's son, and they adapt the cake in the way he wanted, and the final result was wonderful. They also make a lovely coffee and have nice sweets. They have a nice Rum baba, but it's not always available, but worthwhile trying when there is. The other great treat that they have available is the almond shortbread! It's so delicious that is very hard to eat only one.

The chocolate ganache cake we ordered for our special occasion was made with great attention to detail, looked gorgeous and was delicious! The cake chef was happy to discuss our requirements and create a customised design for us.

Well regarded French patisserie in Neutral Bay with a great selection of sweet and savoury breads. Having tried a number of different treats including (my favourite french sweet treat - pan de chocolate) I can say this place is definitely hit and miss. Some of the pastries are better than others but overall I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. Note due to the lack of many patisseries in the area the Le Patissier gets a lot of patronage so don't be fooled thinking it's the next Black Star (Newtown) or Bourke Street Bakery.

Most unpleasant experience at this shop run by new Vietnamese owners when last May I ordered large pre-ordered birthday cakes @ $92 each which were only 10 inch diameter (normally 12 inch). The Vietnamese female chef then said she'd been there 12 years when I corrected her as I've been in area last 35 years.

Old school patisserie where you’ll recognise most of the classics in the window. Got a range to takeaway, they all tasted quite nice. The lemon tart was a little sweet & quite tart, a bit much for my tastebuds.

Drool worthy stuff here, the lil' cute tarts are just melt in your mouth. Very reasonably priced, excellent quality, friendly staff. Amazing place!!!

This predominantly take away shop, with its simple appearance, has some very tasty treats inside. You can eat in, but seating is very limited. Most people however, grab and go. In fact they linger, look, admire, then grab and go! The sugary eye-candy here is certainly memorable. We were both after a sweet finale to our evening and hadn't expected this place to be open. In fact we were wandering along Military Rd hoping to find somewhere for dessert as the options appeared limited. Then we found Le Patissier and all was good in the world!

I've been there a few times now, really like quality of the desserts. Got a chance to talk to the owner so I know most of their ingredients are imported. The staff are very friendly. There are lots of desserts to choose from, tarts, pastries, cakes. I'll be back again for sure.
