Review Ta Ta Thai - Neutral Bay

Good food and friendly staff. We found this place almost by chance on the way back from the city and are glad we did. The minced chicken and chilli basil rice were very tasty and the portions were generous.

Really good Thai food, corn cakes and ginger chicken stir fry are awesome, also the duck curry or any of their specials are great. Not open mondays which has caught us out a few times

Staff very friendly and polite. Food is delicious. Normal plate but a creative twist was added, creating great flavour.

If there was an option for 0 stars I would of gladly selected 0. As soon as we walked in we were questioned if we had a booking, I replied no. Staff member rolled her eyes and pointed us to a table. As we sat down she threw the menu on our table without making any contact and proceeded to talk to her colleague. So disrespectful and rude. I got up immediately and walked out. My partner and I always order so much food that we leave with takeaway. As Thai food is my favourite cuisine I was left with disappointed and being hungry. Ended up at a nicer Thai restaurant down the road. Thai people are known to be friendly and happy, definitely not at this restaurant. There is no ventilation and no open windows the restaurant had a really bad smell too.

So much potential, but such average food that lacks freshness and the premises seem filthy out back. Try any of the soups for yourself as an example. Like drinking and over sugared soft drink. Try the fried entrees and I reckon they are all brought in as frozen foods. Very simple fix. Be clean and hygienic, buy fresh produce and throw out old produce, and then just cook well without too much salt and sugar.

Delicious food and friendly service

Excellent spot, with lovely staff. Extensive menu and does not disappoint. They have a breakfast menu (yet to test!), we ate here at lunchtime. Definitely be back!

Update: we went for breakfast on Good Friday break, the style of breakfast was very traditional & delicious. And coffee was really tasty too! And it now becomes my favourite local cafe for breakfast : )<br/>We had a lazy day so we went to this nearby little hidden gem. Most tables for 3+ ppl were reserved but we were able to get a table for two. <br/>We had crying tiger(grilled beef with veggies & special dipping sauce), cashewnuts pad Thai noodles & fish Choo Chee (deep fried fish). The ambience was chilled & relaxing. Looks like more local residents visit the restaurant.

Food - 2 mussels, 1 prawn and 2 pieces of fish was the amount of 'seafood' in my pad see ew. What a joke!<br/>THEN - I was charged an extra $2 corkage because I brought some wine. Mind you, they don't sell wine, they just charge you for the privilege of bringing it.

The place is not sophisticated but has a cozy family environment. Great food and very friendly staff! We eat there often with our toodler who loves it!<br/>We also have ordered delivery which comes really fast! I strongly recommend it!

Great local Thai restaurant. Great little local Thai restaurant. Visited on Friday night, was buzzing with locals. Friendly staff, fresh and tasty dishes. <br/>We will be back :-)

Very Cozy. Apart from the tables being almost on top of each other. If you can tolerate others listening to your conversation then the food is worth while

Good price good food. This place isn't a fancy fine dining experience, but Ta Ta thai serves really great thai food at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and their signature dish crying tiger is delicious. Best thai in the area.
