What attracted me here was the convenient
24 hour opening hours. I’ve come here a few times late at night after seeing a play in the city. Cosy little place with good food and no one is rushing you out for closing time.
although not the cheapest (meal around $20), it is a nice treat and presented in an appealing fashion. the risotto i ordered was warm and a good portion size. the excellent waitstaff- greeted me upon arrival, shown me to a seat, informed me of the specials, offered salt and pepper when the food arrived, etc.
Lamb burger, mud cake and hot cakes are pretty good! Have yet to try other desserts there, and not too expensive.
The BEST part of this cafe is the location and the opening hours... FINALLY I found a cafe which is open till late ans serves good coffee too! Even did a take away of the sweets they had... tasted as good as it looks
The coffee if perfect, blew my mind. Staff are lovely. I've been visiting Maisys for 5 years, open 24hr has saved me from late night at the office dinner Macca's option.
Excellent food, and all in our group of six agreed with this evaluation for their own breakfast & lunch dishes. Milkshake, which I chose instead of coffee on this hot day, was merely average which prevents a '5' score from being put down. I'll come back to try the coffee.
We were looking for a decent cup of coffee at an unorthodox time and found it. This joint is open 24hrs.
Service was lovely and the food was delicious. Will definitely be wandering back here.
Where can one go for a late dinner after 10:30pm north of the Harbour on a weeknight? Have known about the place for a long time, so we came here for the first time out of necessity. The place was small, but packed with people even at this time, we got the only free table upstairs. It was a warm night, and it was a bit stuffy where we were seated. The food were pleasantly surprising, and quite nice for a 24hrs cafe. I had the haloumi & quinoa salad, which was not too heavy, nicely balanced, perfect for late dinner. My friend had the meatballs, which was generously covered with cheese. Great option for anyone looking for a late night tucker.
Maisy’s used to be my regular hang out place with my friends for a late night chat…Why? Because the best thing about it is, it opens 24 hours! You barely have cafes around Sydney that are a cafe and open late at night! I think I’ve only been there once during the day only, the rest is after dinner for some dessert, or super late night coffee! The coffee is good, so don’t need to go for the McDonald’s coffee…and if you feel like dessert their cakes are super nice! Of course don’t forget with a scoop of ice-cream . I love their new york cheese cake, chocolate mousse cake and lemon lime tart! YUM!

Always there for you. When the only other option for food at 2am is Maccas, Maisy's is a saving grace. good coffee. the menu is classic and there's something for everyone. the mud cake is so rich it will probably win against you but it's still really good for the three bites you'll have before you're full. I find the chairs a bit uncomfortable. Tiny little stainless steal things. The place is pretty small too, wish it was a bit bigger because it can get very noisy very quickly.
Maisy cafe offers a wide range of food but their most delicious meal is their hot dog which is big and their Chips which are really good if you feel like a change of food go to maisys cafe their open 24/7
