Review Cafe Porco - Neutral Bay

Nice quiet little cafe on the main road. Simple but tasty menu with some great Japanese fusions, drinks were good too. Service is quick, friendly and very welcoming plus they have an outdoor area which is dog friendly.

Cozy little cafe on Military Rd. Despite the busy road outside, it was very quiet and relaxing inside. Staff was extremely accommodating for our dietary requirements as well as young children (high chairs available). Menu was extensive with a good variety of weekly specials. Kids menu was decent too. Will be back to try out more dishes.

Great food and cheerful staff make for a wonderful experience at Cafe Porco (whose name is a cute, tongue-in-cheek reference to the head chef's love for the Studio Ghibli character, Porco Rosso). The katsu sandwich is highly recommended (it's huge!), as well as the omurice. Just note that the cafe is closed on Mondays, and open late from Thursday to Saturday.

Nice and cosy venue with great selection of Japanese inspired menu, staff was very friendly and attentive. Not to forget the great coffee too. Must visit cafe and will definitely be back.

Great little Japanese cafe. Tried the pork katsu sandwich and a latte. Sandwich was amazing, pork was juicy and a very large serving. Latte was good. The service was very attentive and friendly too. Will definitely go back to try the Omurice next time.

This is a Japanese cafe serving Japanese styled breakfast and lunch. Excellent service, I happened to walk by and got a free coffee. Went in to have the egg with roe mayo breakfast.

How often do you wake up & randomly select cafe on Zomato? That's my weekend, I love stumbling upon foodie eats that surprises me every time!

Cafe Porco just did that! Seafood Pasta is cooked to perfection. Beautiful texture and flavors!

Omnu-rice with Wagyu Beef Gravy is something different - I thoroughly enjoyed this new take.

Pork Katsu Sando is perhaps the best I've eaten in Sydney. Lightly fried, retaining the juiciness of the pork. The sauce is well-balanced.

Well done Cafe Porco, I'm definitely coming back for more!

Non assuming little Japanese cafe. Simply decorated, more practical then for atmosphere. More impressed with the coffee cup & saucer, the bottom of the cup has a concave hole, and the saucer curve up with a spike that fits neatly under the cup to stop it from moving. So practical! The actual coffee tasted fine. The matcha French Toast was ok, preferred not to have the red beans. The flowers on the toasts were probably better left as decorations.

Modern jap with cosy feels. Mainly japanese customers. Each dish were executed well. Thoroughly enjoyed the entres. Standouts would be the burrata, seafood soup and burdoch chips. Both mains and desserts were good too. Great addition to the japanese food culture here in Sydney.

The food here is absolutely amazing. The texture and flavours contrasts with its simplicity brings out the true flavours of the ingredients and the skills of the chef.

I make it a habit to go to different cafes every week. Cafe Porco puts a twist on your usual brekkie fanfare. Their Yuzu Miso Mushroom toast was nice, coffee is good. Service is friendly without being too intrusive.

Went there for brunch on the weekend. Place was quite empty, staff were friendly and nice. Poke bowl tasted good, but I find that $16 for ONE piece of mushroom toast a bit expensive... Is it just me? The truffle cheese shoestring fries were good but also not enough truffle cheese. Generally it was decent, may go back and eat other Japanese food off the menu.
