Review Pizza Azzurri - Neutral Bay

My wife and I love the pizzas that are created at this place. The best pizza restaurant in Neutral Bay. We travel 25kms to visit this place. We recommend the Hawaiian and meat lovers pizzas - they both taste great. An excellent Italian pizza chef operates inside this kitchen. The staff are efficient, fast and friendly. Clean store. There are tables and chairs inside the store. A sign in the store says they do home deliveries with Menu Log. Plenty of parking available down the side street ie Young Street. The Northern Beaches BLine express bus from Wynyard stops about 30 metres up from the restaurant.

I have been there today for my first time and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff is super friendly, you get to see they making the pizza, service was super fast, and pizza was yummy. The only con, for me, is that they did not have any beers. Not a big deal, but I like to drink beer while eating pizza. I had the four cheese pizza and totally recommend it!

Gave Pizza Azzurri a go for the first time tonight ..... not generally a pizza fan but this place could change my mind. Great pizza base, fresh tasty ingredients complimented by friendly & fast service. Thank you

Really lovely pizza and it was delivered hot and fast, (but we are only just down the hill) My husband even had the leftovers for lunch today.

We used to order from this place regularly back when it was called Sven's as we loved their pizzas. They were scrumptiously loaded with fresh & delicious toppings. However, since the new branding came in, we noticed a huge decrease not just in the volume of each pizza but also in the quality. The toppings which had formerly been so generous and fresh and bright and vibrant in appearance were now sparse and wilted and dead-looking. The base which had once been light and springy and non-greasy was now hard and crackly and dripping with oil. At first we thought the staff might have just been having a bad day so gave it another chance and ordered again on another occasion. Sadly, no improvement, which tells us that this new poor quality is here to stay. Very disappointed. It took us ages to find a pizza shop we really liked in this area. Now we're going to have to start searching again.

Excellent pizza, especially love the Siciliana. Delicious, authentic Italian, I would highly recommend.

This used to be a regular order for us, but unfortunately they have changed in a negative manner in the last few months. The quality of the pizzas has dropped notably and on our most recent order they took approximately 90 mins for the delivery- and the staff weren’t particularly pleasant when we called to check on the order status. This will be the last order we make with them, due to the drop in quality and service. Plenty of better options available in the area.
