Always friendly service. They prices seem to be okay. Parking out front.
Delicious meals and very friendly staff.
Above average pub food, with generous portions and friendly staff. We didn’t have them but there were some tasty looking vegetarian pasta options on the regular (not specials) menu. Good value
Welcoming country pub. Huge menu, the food was fresh, perfectly cooked and the kids menu was perfect. Can recommend the tempura mushrooms and the kids bolognaise was flavoursome. Great for a casual meal as a couple, family or group. Will come again!
Exceptional establishment. They went above and beyond for my dads funeral after service drink, and I will forever remember that kindness... Not only did they offer free nibbles...... but we also had ppl telling us that they got free drinks after.... Star and Garter? you are a pub with a heart. you h
We went for lunch on Saturday, I had steak and mushroom pie which was cold and the pastry was totally uncooked. My wife ordered chicken kiev as did my brother in law, however both were almost raw in the centre. Will not return and cannot recommend .
Waited over an hour for our meals, and there were only 3 tables of patrons at this time. Our 3 meals were brought out 10mins apart, so no chance of being able to dine together. Bar wasn't manned either and we had to wait for someone to bring a meal out from the kitchen in order to ask for a drink. Q
