We recently held our staff Christmas Party here on a Sunday evening. The food was absolutely incredible - without a doubt 5 star. The staff were so friendly, professional and accommodating to everything we needed. It was so easy to deal with them in arranging the party. The room upstairs is ideal for functions and is rustic and stunning. Thank you also to Scion who helped us decorate the room. The whole evening was outstanding and have earned lifelong customers. (Also We've been for breakfast and is the best in Newcastle!!)

We had the brekkie wrap and souffle pancakes and both were lovely! Pancakes were so fluffy and heavenly and brekkie wrap was so good! We have been twice and plan to come again next time we visit Newcastle 😊 Staff are fun/good and the atmosphere is nice as well, didn't have to wait too long for food on either visit 😊

Waffles are the best I've had, and I love my waffles. Cirque cafe is tidy, and the staff are respectful, well presented, and timely with delivery. I recommend this cafe when in Newcastle CBD as the coffee is fantastic, and the menu is diverse. This cafe caters many gluten-free options.

The staff were very friendly and inviting. In particular a special mention to Ethan. Ethan is a real asset to the business, the interaction with him was lighthearted and enjoyable. It’s nice to know there’s still people around with a good sense of humour and the ability to read people and adjust themselves accordingly. Ethan kept us laughing the whole way through our meal while maintaining service.

This place is a ten out of ten. Amazing food and the staff were incredible. The staff member who greeted and served us was so fun, friendly, welcoming, and we shared many laughs with him. The service was amazing. He made our experience at Cirque fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again.

Fantastic, can't find any faults - service is friendly & welcoming, quality of food is great, and a wide variety of choices from breakfast - lunch - afternoon tea won't disappoint. This is one of the best little cafes in Newcastle. I visit for lunch, coffee and meet people here for work meetings , nothing is too much trouble for the head chef, kitchen staff and those on table service .

We were out and about early on a Sunday morning looking for somewhere new for breakfast. What a find. I had the best eggs bene for a long time........and they served this with a muffin Just the best. We will certainly be back and sincerely recommending this to friends. I can't wait to try dinner one evening.

Very cosy cafe with a really nice feel to it. Prices very reasonable especially for what you get. I found my meal, The potato gnocchi, absolutely beautiful, amazing flavours! Followed it up with a pot of tea and scones which were extremely nice. Will definitely come back with my friends.

Relaxed and up-market at the same time. Food is exceptionally good. A range of prices and dishes make it a venue suitable for everyone. The food, the ambience, and the views of heritage buildings make Cirque Cafe an outstanding experience. I'll be back!

First time visitor to this small cafe, surprisingly good breakfast and coffee! Not a regular trendy looking cafe, but food is definitely excellent! Haven't got a decent omelette and baked eggs for a long while, even from Melbourne.....

Cirque is in my opinion the best café in NSW. Anyone visiting Newcastle should definitely drop by for a coffee. The food is always perfect and the atmosphere so peaceful. The staff is very friendly and always give good suggestions. My go to place for good coffee and superb food 👍

Good food hopeless service. Sure it was busy but 45 mins to get a drink and an hour to get food . Then just to prove they were efficient, 3 plates were taken from the table before the fourth diner had finished eating. There were sufficient staff but they had no urgency and no organisation. We won't be back!

I am a regular at Cirque since it opened it doors and the food is fabulous everytime I have been. I would even say it has the best food in Newcastle. I particularly love the open steak sandwich. With big serves you will never be hungry and with friendly service. Cirque is the place to be.
