Had breakfast on Saturday and must say it was one of the best breakfast spots I've been to in Newcastle! The service was great with very friendly staff, the food was amazing and we didn't wait long at all. Very beautiful decor! Would definitely recommend to friends

We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary at the French themed night during September. It was beautiful! The lovely staff surprised us with a romantic table for two set up with pretty roses, on the dessert plate was written "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate with a heart and they even considerately took a photo of us together. The generous five courses of authentic French cuisine was tres Bon! The flavours were perfectly balanced, the combined menu selection was delicious and the ambience transported us far away to an atmospheric Parisian cafe! It was great that we could BYO our own French wine. Thank you for a very special evening The Three Bears!

Had a fabulous family lunch today. Kids lunch menu caters perfectly, both suitable options and size of meal. Wonderful friendly service by everyone and a great location to relax and take in the beauty of Newcastle.

Loved the wheaten bread, black and white pudding and the rest of the full Irish breakfast. So yummy and authentic. Loved the decor too! Service was friendly and not in your face. We’ll be back for more. Well done.

We loved the Moroccan eggs and the asparagus breakfast. The locally roasted coffee was great, and the servings are large. The Moroccan breakfast is substantial and tastes authentic. The asparagus was so juicy and the mushrooms are just like how I cook them myself (perfect).

Love this cafe, especially the pet parking! Such a clever idea. Stunning views of the lake and tree filled surrounds.

It is a great little cafe to grab a coffee or some food while enjoying the view of the lake or take in some of the art both inside and outside of the building. You can take a stroll along the forsehore or simply sit down and relax while enjoying the view of the lake. The is also a large stretch of lawn and some seating outside the south eastern part of the building which you can enjoy as well.

Rustic Rusty Vintage Grunge - cool ceiling! So much eye candy... Cool steam tank with pipes, decaying plaster ceilings and walls... A feeling of being an old butchers... Fabulous decor, feels like urban and historic decay... Food good, unpretentious options and plating. Pizza, burgers, steak, pulled pork rolls, all day breakfast options, salads, beverages and beers... Outdoor and indoor seating. Menus online at their website. Opening hours a little inflexible (typically closed before 4pm). What google says, their door sign says and what their website says for Evening Dinner hours is in conflict. So if planning a dinner, call first to confirm they are open.

The location Is great and the food was good. I was a little disappointed that there was nothing with eggs on the menu as they are such a breakfast staple.
