We went to this restaurant after seeing the reviews. Let me tell you one thing… The restaurant really lives up to the review. 5 star to the service and 5 star to the food. Amazing chef and top shelf service.. Sunil( the owner) made sure that we were enjoying our food and was constantly checking on us. That’s a world class service. Happy to visit the restaurant again.

My wife and I moved to the area recently and have been searching for a new regular for our weekly favourite Indian. After a number of lacklustre experiences, we were told about Gandha’s by family nearby, and were not disappointed. 10/10 will be back every week!

We waited almost 2 hours for our food! All except the naans then required reheating before we are. Appalling service. Not even an apology. When we questioned how much longer our meal would be we were met with a very short reply of “give me 10 minutes”. We’d already given him an hour and a half! When our food finally arrived and we complained we didn’t even receive an apology, we’re just told “well it’s very busy!” The meal itself was ok flavour wise, just cold and very late.

We love Indian cousin, but the food from this restaurant was average like from a $10 take away.. Our fish dish was very sour with no coconut cream in it as it supposed to be. The rest of the dishes did not have much flavor as well.. The most disappointing, however, were garlic naans. We had to through them, as they were totally stale and dry. Obviously they were kept for several days.. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are 2 more Indian restaurants in Hamilton and in Merewether.. if you want good quality Indian food, go there..

I have ordered fairly regularly for takeaways from here and the meals are yummy!.. tonight i tried a creamy vegie dish and a chicken entree...and garlic naan. This combo was particularly tasty! I will be eating from here again! Thankyou :)

Went there with my girlfriend, food was alright. However the price was ridiculously unacceptable and misleading when the bill was out. The price of the dishes were actually 10% extra compared with the menu, which they explained that they had already justified by having a sign sticked on the window. But the thing is the sign was facing inwards to the restaurant and we were not notified before we ordered, which means there is no way we will know.
Menu says plain rice per person is 3 dollars. However got charged by 16 dollars for 2 people, as I asked for refill and they were charging 4 dollars for plain rice per person instead. This ofcourse wasn't notified in the beginning as well.
Will never ever go back. Sapphire is much cheaper and nicer than this. Stingy and tricky owner with poor morals.

What a delight. We've eaten at many traditional Indian restaurants over the years this one outstanding. The service was excellent, they couldn’t have done more for us. Highly recommend.

Don't get home delivery because they will never find your house.
Collect from restaurant so you can tell them to their face they they are a rip off.

We ordered take away tonight and as usual their food is great. I am writing this review based on their amazing customer service - my daughter had lost her shoes a couple months ago, I had no idea where they were. Then tonight when my husband went to pick up our food, they recognised him and handed over her shoes. They have always been friendly and helpful with great suggestions with my food requirements as well.
