Review Saigon Feast - Newcastle

BO Hou
Very bad experience, $16 stir veg looks like leftover

Feels like a very authentic Vietnamese experience. Delicious food, few options for vegetarians. Great value for money

Had a pho and was incredible. Loved the food and was a really great price for the quality. Only thing was tea cups I got were dirty. But the meal was so good it made up for that.

If you are looking for vietnam cuisine, make sure do not skip this one. It looks like a very small restaurant but very cozy and also they always did the best , tasty delicious Pho in town. We alwasy orders special beef pho . They also had chicken and vege (tofu) as well.

Good staff ....Senior lady named Jackie was helpful. Soup was good. Rolls were average.

Very reasonably priced and quick service. Their pho has sliced red onions, beansprouts, chili, lemon wedge, and basil for garnish. No sriracha or hoisin sauce at each table, so they give you a small dish of it with your order. Wish they had cilantro! Cash only!

Not the best today ... Poor little old lady bit overwhelmed... A few other tables ignored QR Code registration... and one in particular had uncontrollable obnoxious noisy kids that just wouldn't stop yelling and screaming.. I missed on getting my paid for Green tea and my bean shoots and sauces came out when half way through my Pho... Not put off will try again...

The lovely lady working here tonight went above and beyond for us, was so kind and happy! Food has always been amazing. Highly recommend

Don’t let the decor convince you this is another typical Asian takeaway, it is anything but! Had the house specialty Pho that was ridiculously good! The flavour got better with each taste, nothing short of amazing. I will be back for sure many times.
The best Vietnamese in Newcastle. The phō is fantastic. Really good broth and full of meat and noodles. It's a super quick service and the slice the beef super thing and give it to you rare so it's nice and soft and melts in your mouth. BYO too which is always welcomed.

good food at an affordable price, been here with my girlfriend for dinner and enjoyed the food and ambience. Would highly recommend for tasty vietnamese food

Very disappointed. I ordered Pho Bo, the beef was not fresh and Im pretty sure it had been frozen for a long time. THe sercive is poor as well, when I was asking the waiter for the food on the menu, the owner yelled at me from the kitchen for no reason. Never come back again

Delicious chicke Pho in modest surrounds. Chicken with oyster sauce not as good. Good value. Very quick service. And that's the end of my review.

I have read the review before visiting this restaurant but it seems like the popular noodles Pho Bao just in average. The chicken slice in Pho Ga is too dry that I can't even finish it, little disappointed.

Highly recommend for great value for money healthy fresh food and slow cooked bone stocks.

House special #5 with slow cooked brisket! Or as vegetables based version #6. Can’t go wrong.

A must on the Newcastle cheap eats list!

When it comes to Vietnamese food, I am very fussy, thanks to a couple of years spent living in Vietnam. Saigon Feast exceed my expectations, especially the pawpaw salad. The spring rolls were very nice. The pork and egg in coconut was not quite like the traditional recipe, as it had hard boiled eggs on the side instead of in the dish, but it was still good. It's a tiny restaurant with uninspiring decor but definitely a great place to get good Vietnamese food.

We dropped in for lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon and had one of the best Bun Bo Hue dishes that we'd had in a long time. It was very authentic and with just the right amount of spice - and only $12! What a great find!

Never again. Terrible service
the prawn with chilli and lemon grass tasted bland and the prawns could have come out of a can
got the wrong entrée

forgot my rice
rude little lady said me so sorry please pay full amount

never again

Great Food (Takeaway). We got some takeaway from this joint last weekend, and it was fantastic. The experience would have definitely been better eating in I think, as Pho with raw beef needs to be piping hot for the right effect. We had to nuke the soup a little bit at home but after that it was excellent.

Will add this place into the "Few good asian restaurants in Newie" list.

Good food, good price and good service. I had a great time there. The food was good. I recommend Papaya salad, stuffed chicken wings, Vietnamese ice coffee with milk. Staff were friendly as well. It is a relatively small place so maybe booking would be a good idea.

Quite a nice restaurant. Food was of an ok standard, however i found the meals to be small for the price paid. Customer service was average, not bad, but not friendly either. I won't be going out of my way to go back. It was nice, but not nice enough for me to spend my money there again.

Fantastic Food. Fantastic food, great prices & lovely staff! Well worth the wonder in.

A humble establishment but excellent food. We ordered the shaking beef, roast duck salad, lemongrass and chili tofu, pho ga, and salt and pepper squid, and all were delicious. The shaking beef was particularly good: tender and flavourful.

Great place for a nice, quiet and cheap meal in Newcastle.

Delicious, clean, cheap & friendly service!! Definitely what Newcastle needed - another authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Stoked that it does Pho at night as well as day, and takeaway available. Overall extremely satisfied.
