Review Williams Artisan Bread & Espresso - Newcastle

Nice little cafe with excellent service, with a choice of inside or outside seating. The coffee is hot and the orange cake is nice and tangy.

Lovely cafe in the heart of Lambton Elser street . Great place for a weekend breakfast before buying the paper or shopping . Great coffee . Love the eggs Benny. Sourdough is one of the best I've tried and they give you butter on the table, so good when it's more usual to not have butter on your bread anymore . Love it !!

Not going to say I love this place but I do. Everything is soo good, and I just keep coming back. I would say get your self here for a coffee but then there will be more people and I don't want to wait, even when there is lots of people they still get everything out in a good time. And a nice hot chocolate on a cold day is a perfect way to start your day

Have fabulous sourdough bread and my husband says the coffee is excellent. Don't live nearby but always stop in here when travelling through Newcastle. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Morning soy cappuccino and a sweet cinnamon scroll. First time here. Cool look inside. Coffee was pretty good. Big range of pastries, walked in thinking I would have a light breakfast, cinnamon scroll caught my eye instead!

Lovely cafe & location ..... 👍🏼 But less is more in this case, Artisan breads etc are lovely ..... please ditch the rocket etc its very old hat & very annoying on the plate. Not for me .... Ive had 6kg of rocket already this year 🤦🏻‍♂️ Please add butter 🧈 to your breakfasts it was very dry .....

I had breakfast here and it was fantastic. I was with eight others and all the meals looked great. Service was very fast too. They had inside and outside seating options. The outside is nicely shaded. This place might serve the best breakfast of any place between Hamilton and Wallsend.

A great little place for a quick bite to eat. The service was excellent and the place look nice. I enjoyed the food and the smoothie and would recommend this place. It's a tad pricey but not over priced. I wouldn't say this Ruben was better than the one I had in New York but it was good!

Went there for lunch on a weekday. The food and coffee was alright but the experience wasn't. Perhaps it was because I was on my own, I felt rushed by the server which made me feel unwelcome. I had but a minute to look a the menu and the tone of voice of the mature server was forced. I will not be coming back.

We wanted to try this out. We were told at the counter to take a seat and they would come over It was at that time we became invisible. A couple were seated near us , given a menu and then served. We had to ask for someone to serve us . The coffee was very ordinary . Not happy and would not recommend this place

The sourdough here is SENSATIONAL! Always a great breakfast with delicious coffee. The staff are really friendly and the service is fast. I think the new launch with the rustic interior decor makes the place good to look at, with some quirky stuff hanging off the walls! Love this place..

Williams has the best sourdough bread I have ever tasted! I went there for lunch today and the service was excellent as was the food. Thanks Williams for a great lunch and I will certainly be returning especially to buy your excellent bread!

Arrived today with a view to lunch but after asking the waitress if they accepted the Entertainment Book voucher the reply was NO as the name of the Cafe had been changed. Used to be Blend 2 Cafe but I believe the owner is still the same? New name same bad attitude.

Went this afternoon for coffee & cake. Limited choices and told no to any cream or ice cream when requested (I would of paid for it!) Only to have my friend get delivered her iced chocolate with cream! One star service.

The coffee and atmosphere is okay but the service is often poor.
