Review Doughheads - Newcastle

Doughnuts here are incredible, really recommend gaytime doughnut. Variety of choices from weekly special. Staff members are lovely. Price isn't cheap.

Did the mini box 8 for $30 - fair pricing. Lady was lovely. Being first timer I was floundering around with making choices. She was patient and helpful. Would return again! Doughnuts so far have been light and fluffy and not overly sickly sweet!

Have tried quite a few famous doughnut place in Sydney, haven’t really been wanting to give a 5 stars straightaway. Some got good dough but the icing was overly sweet, some got good flavour but the dough was bit greasy. I haven’t tried all four flavours I got an extra mini gay time, so far the dough was more leaning to doughy side but it was incredibly fluffy and it wasn’t greasy at all. The sweetness level was on point, not too overpowering but did the job. Overall very nice doughnuts. A previous review mentioned that doughead is better than Sydney’s doughnuts, I agree it worths the hype. (PS. I haven’t tried all flavours, I can only judge with the mini one I had) Very nice packaging, staffs are really nice and friendly. Will recommend to friends.

Doughheads is a great store if you want to try some premium doughnuts at a price that feels very fair. Would definitely recommend!

A great spot to dine in and enjoy some of the finest donuts you will taste. The range is widely varied and has something for everyone. I tasted the cinnamon donut and it was very fresh and delicious. I found the staff very friendly and happy to help. Thanks for the great experience!

The doughnuts are delicious and there are always at least 2 or 3 vegan options available (including a basic glazed doughnut for those not in the mood for the special of the day). They are a little pricey but you do pay for the quality.

Since being diagnosed with ceoliac disease last year i have been wanting a donut for a long time till my friend told me about this place and im like im going to try this place out. i come in for the first time on sunday and had your gluten free lemon meringue donut and omg it was good. I wish there was a couple more gluten free donuts to choose from because I'd buy the lot to take home with me. Definitely recommend this place

Went to the Gluten Free/Vegan doughnut tasting this morning and was greeted by lovely staff. The chef, Kal came out to speak to me as I was wondering if the doughnuts were also LowFodmap. We went through the list of ingredients and established that the doughnuts were also low Fodmap, which is great news for all foddies. Kal was very knowledgeable regarding cross contamination and told me that they use a separate fryer to cook the GF doughnuts. They had 3 varieties, classic cinnamon, strawberry with sprinkles and coconut with chia seeds. Regardless of gluten free/vegan, all of the doughnuts stand alone as doughnuts. Loved them, were delicious. Cannot wait till September to go in and have coffee and doughnuts. Thank you Doughheads

Crap service only out done by the crapper donuts. The donut itself tastes like bread and the toppings are that sickening it made me throw up. Their coffee is burnt and their staff are rude. They seem to think they are the only donut shop around. Will not be going back. And if you all respected your tastebuds you wouldn't either.

I love Doughheads! Whenever I see their pop-up shops or I'm at The Junction I go in and grab a couple. They are always fresh and I love how the menu changes regularly. Totally recommend!

Worth the drive, was so delicious, looked like it was going to be over the top sweet but the flavours were fantastic, recommend the gaytime!

The coffee was nice and the donut was too. I was expecting something a little more mindblowing but I did still enjoy it. Straws were impossible to find (black straws on a black shelf behind you, where you are not likely to look). Was offered one fork for two people, one low gluten and one regular donut. We were a little perplexed by that.

I have been wanting to try for a while the hour drive was well worth it. Definitely will be going again.

I've been to the shop at The Junction about 3 times now and each each time the donuts are delicious, however the young staff working there seem to lack enthusiasm and customer service skills.

It's worth the 2 hr round trip from the central coast just for the donuts. I've never had a bad donut, even if I think it's weird combo I trust you donut gods and try it anyway. Have never been disappointed. Don't ever change ❤️

The doughnuts are amazing, the service is friendly and the coffee is honestly one of the best I've had in Newcastle. But I wanted more! The regular size is tiny!

Waiting in line at erina fair , been here half an hour in line staff appear to be on a go - slow with only one staff member serving and one standing watching TERRIBLE. If it wasnt for my kids wanting them id get krispy cremes !!

Drove from the central coast on Saturday, service was great & donuts even better! However I paid $90 for 18 donuts all though they were amazingly tasty I couldn't see it honestly felt ripped of and I think that when you are buying that many donuts you should run some sort of special for your customers.
