I came in and ordered a fully deconstructed egg sandwich. Might I say they do this whole deconstructed thing spot on! They gave me a live chicken, flour, and water. was only $24. Was a lot of work, but I felt more hipster than a homeless guy in Seattle. I was able to have my egg sandwich within 13 hours of ordering. Highly recommend.

I can't have dairy and staff were very accommodating to our dietary needs. Never flinched at changing a couple of things for us (many cafe staff do).

Giving these guys a 5 Star Review; something I never do for an establishment I've never visited. But I was intrigued enough to phone them just now from "County Ireland" at 1am in the morning to discuss the Vegemite story which I was alerted to via a Sydney resident. To use that great Alf'ism, "Fair Dinkum" folks; "Throw another shrimp on the barbie" and indeed "Streuth"! :)
I came for the bullet proof coffee and stayed for the divine menu, lovely staff, prompt and friendly service and the relaxed ambience. Did i mention the outrageously delicious and inspired food?! So coming back :)
Yesterday my boyfriend and I called into core expresso in Newcastle and got two coffees to keep us going on the road to crescent head for the weekend. Little did we know that we would both have one of the best coffees we would both have ever had! Thank you so much to Nathaniel the barrister for the positive morning chats and good vibez and most importantly giving what was pure bliss in a takeaway cup! ��
These guys rock! Always laid back and relaxed but ensure the experience is a good one. If your a fan of cold drip coffee it surely has to be one of the best in town not to mention the food which is always fresh and dilicious. Put it on your go to list.
The team at Core Espresso are always polite and the food I've had is consistently fresh and great. Highly recommend the Health Bowel on there breakfast menu
This is the first time I have been to CORE and I'm happy to announce that it's my new favourite spot to lose myself with a good coffee. The staff were very friendly and even helped me with directions.
Have taken my mum here twice and we both love it. The staff is all really friendly , the food is really nice and the tea is excellent. It has a really chilled atmosphere , I would definitely recommend coming here

Never have I had a bad experience here. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate to my every need. Especially a very picky sister who can not eat egg yolk and was absolutely blown away when the made egg WHITE poached eggs. The service was absolutely incredible and I couldn't fault this place if I tried. Thank you guys. You've made me one happy customer
It's the second time we have been to Core. The service was great and staff were so lovely,but unfortunately the food is quite overpriced. Love there was so many healthy options.
Popped in for lunch and coffee - menu was limited due to water damage to the rear of the property but the toasties were delish and the coffee was great.
Food was delicious and presented beautifully. I had ordered myself the poached pear granola and it was a really refreshing dish, especially on a hot day. The only thing I would say is I wished they had put more coconut yogurt. It was a little dry without it. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Core Expresso is very aesthetically pleasing for the typical travel blogger. It is a must visit cafe with lovely staff and great flavored coffee. They are open 6am-3pm through the week and they have a great variety of drinks and food included!
Ordered Turkey Roll and Pork Super Bowel. The Pork Super Bowel is definitely on the spot and creative. The meal itself is very balance and heathy. The crunchy nuts, kimchi, and pulled pork worked perfect together to give the divine mouthfeel.
Cute little café with a great variety of high quality coffee. Too bad the breakfasts finish very early.
