Great restaurant with delicious dishes. The indoor design is really beautiful and attractive. It has parking spots at the back. I tried seafood combination here and really enjoyed.

This restaurant, Chinois is without a doubt the best I have experienced in a very long time. Not only for its service - delivered by friendly, caring staff but the overall quality- from the decor, to the exceptional taste, to the finer details of a warm napkin at the end. 'They have left no stone unturned'!

The food was good, the waitresses were not that attentive but to their defence they were understaffed. It was a very load atmosphere with the party of around 12 people 2 tables seemingly trying to out talk each other.

I was really impressed with staff member, Emily, who knew all about the FODMAP diet and was able to recommend food that I could eat without getting an upset stomach. As an IBS sufferer, I was thinking I'd have difficulty finding a dish that didn't contain certain foods, but Emily went through all of the dishes that would best suit my diet and I really enjoyed my dinner. The food was fabulous and the prices are good. Service is good too but it took a while to get the food as the order was lost. They did apologise and we got our entree for free. Very popular Chinese Restaurant in Newcastle and I can understand why. We will go back for sure.
