Review Thai Square - Newcastle

Best Thai food as you will find in Newcastle. More meat in the dishes than the joynt round the corner. I didn't find them slow at all. But then I wasn't in a hurry either. Support this restaurant! And it is very nice looking out over the water too

The food we had was absolutely delicious! I had the Chilli Basil Beef stir fry and my wife had the Phat si-io. Highly recommended!

The worst service ever. Shame a zero star rating isn't possible. Had booked for six people Sunday lunch. Two 'waitresses' and no other customers (tells you something right there). These two girls (just can't bring myself to call them waitresses) just never stopped talking to each other and totally, and I mean totally, ignored us for the entire lunch. No clearing of plates, no asking how we enjoyed the meal, no water. Nothing! I feel for the chef as the food was quite good. At $50 per couple (BYO) its certainly not expensive but we (locals) will not be going back and suggest that, if you want great Thai, try the Iconic Thai right opposite the Honeysuckle Hotel. Fabulous food and service and very reasonable prices.

It has been quite a while since we visited Carrabba's and things had changed. The hostess greeted us and we was seated right away. Cody, our server would be rated a B. We had to ask for several items a couple of times before we received them. The food was Ok. The crust of the bread was hard.

Delicious Thai food with a killer view! The mixed entree, Chilli/Basil Beef, pad Thai & S/F prawn & cashew were cooked perfectly. The meals were served in good time and the wait-staff were very friendly. We'll be back!

Ate here by myself. Asked the waitress what to order. Had vegetarian spring rolls and a Thai square sauce stir fry. Really yum. Service was okay, only one waitress but it was Monday and not very busy. Would recommend the stir fry.

We wait almost for one hour , even though the restaurant is not full. Other tables have the same situation as us. We just have no idea what chefs doing in the kitchen. And the vegetable tofu , broccoli is not cooked through. Really not happy with tonight dinner. We won't come back.
