This is our new local. Friendly staff and security, so you feel safe and welcomed. Nod to the cocktails as well as the food. Steak cooked exactly how I ordered it. Even though they had events on and we had to wait to order, they kept us informed and the wait between order and food was fine despite the kitchen working hard on the other events. I would be more than happy to recommend.

I just had the opportunity to stay a couple of nights and was gobsmacked by the room size, cleanliness and again the amazing staff at the hotel. I really rate the place. Whether you just need a nights sleep or a meal and be sociable, the northern Star is great value for money. Did I mention the staff? Probably not enough times ;)

What a lovely stay! Very clean, we stayed over the weekend and the pub noise didn’t infiltrate our room, the air conditioner was great and the location was perfect! For the price, we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be staying again.

Staff seemed disinterested. No table service here. Order food and drinks at bar. Get up to get your own food & cutlery. Food was average. Plenty of better dining options in close vicinity. Some small changes here would make a much nicer customer experience.

Regular customer at restaurant, come this time and they have an updated menu. We were really disappointed with our food, other times it was great. Staff were lovely as always tho.

Went in on Easter Monday for lunch to an empty pup with no food!
Bought a couple of drinks was charged $19 !
PLUS .44c to use eftpos AND $1.90 ‘special event’ fee😡 total $21.34
Aww now come on that’s the greatest ripoff ever! Wasn’t told of these extra fees when I ordered but saw it later in my receipt
Talk about greed 😡 will never stand in that pub again ... no wonder it was empty!

Quiet Monday night, ordered two chickens snittys/parmi, took ages parmi came out burnt and barely any of the tomato sauce taste, staff offered to have next drinks on the house but already on our seconds didn’t need anymore. Asked for no chips but request was ignored and gravy tasted terrible

Standard weekend pub lunch, good menu, just wish they had desserts (rather than having to leave and disrupt the table conversation). Friendly atmosphere.
