Well we had never venture to this pub as we have lived in the are for 6 years and I was very impressed with the friendly bar staff. We have been again and the food is very nice, great size meal if your hungry I had crumbed pork chop with chips and salad . I would definitely recommend you try this p
I love this place! I've never had bad food, late service or anything... just pure quality. I'd happily come here with friends and family.
What a disappointing way to spend $75! 3 meals ordered…. A pizza, pasta and steak. They took over 1.15 hours to arrive they were all terrible, so much that we could not finish our meal. Will not eat there again, what a let down. Nothing like they used to be.
Attempted the parmy eating challenge today. This is not a small plate. It is as wide as my body. It cost $35 and even if you lose the challenge it is way worth it just for the price! The Roast pork Dinner, was less than average. Burnt sweet potato, too much gravy, and it was tasteless, they forgot the crackle, then it was dry and burnt, when it was bought out later.
Fan of this place, not only is it my local, it's really good. Unlike another Waratah pub... Liking the food and the daily specials are yum. Sitting here typing this on a Sunday, about to enjoy a $12 roast. Beer on tap is a bit limited, mostly mainstream, I go the James Squires. Will be back! Want to
Was definitely the best meals we had on our trip to Newcastle/Port Stephens.... everything cooked to perfection and staff were really great .... top service and atmosphere ....great value and quality lunch menu If hungry and anywhere near Newcastle, this is the place to go .... 😉👍
Great pub grub. Excellent variety on Specials menu too. Staff friendly and welcoming.
