Review Sprocket Roasters - Newcastle

I was absolutely awestruck with the excellent quality of the coffee from this coffee lounge. Very laid back, quiet, relaxing environment. The staff constantly display a very considerate, attentive, welcoming and well mannered attitude to all their customers. As well as being very helpful and accomodating for their patrons. I was nursing a smashed collarbone and broken ribs at the time. The staff made sure that I was constantly comfortable and that my needs were looked after. As you would expect with a coffee lounge, they have on hand an array of daily newspapers for customers to enjoy reading when having their coffee. I honestly can't say enough good things about this establishment. Excellent top quality coffee. Very knowledgable, accomodating, and friendly staff. I can't wait to go back when I'm next in Newcastle.

came on a rainy sunday with friends. it was an unplanned stop over at newcastle, to breakdown a long drive home. we must've come on a bad day? the coffee was ok, but luke warm. the banana bread was burnt. the doughnut was at least 3 days old. even worse, it seems like that we have inconvenienced the two people working there. they both looked so unhappy, especially the barista. did we have the 'b' team that day? maybe just our bad luck. anyway, its a 2star because i disliked it and not 1star because hate is such a strong word.

Great coffee, had 2 types that were incredibly distinctive, had the zucchini fritters with Aioli and bacon and things have not been the same since. Everything else in life is pointless.

Easily one of a few places vying for best coffee in Newcastle, but the service seems to have dropped off lately.

The coffee and food was delicious. Service a bit on the slow side but it is worth the wait! I recommend a visit or 2 ☺

In the heart of Newcastle...friendly staff...coffee is fair...no owners actively in the cafe, so basically the place is on auto pilot...no passion observed @ this location...
