Review Noodle Hut - Newcastle

R C
This is the best laksa I've had in Newcastle - I may be biased because I prefer vermicelli noodles, but the soup base is finally balanced and LOTS of chicken. Always a bonus for a hungry customer! The Nasi Goreng was aromatic and generous as well. I think it is definitely an option that is overlooked in the Kotara rooftop. All meals also at very reasonable prices compared to other Thai restaurants, especially considering the portion size. I will definitely be returning regularly :)

Lovely clean and nicely designed restaurant with extensive vegan options. Today we had the tofu and veg thin rice noodles with ginger and it was fresh, delicious and affordable. Such a great place to meet with friends for a catch up and enjoy the great lunch specials!

Food was decent but I ended up getting food poisoning. Wouldnโ€™t recommend. The laksa was very watery too. They give you the noodles separate and the laksa soup separate. You need to mix it yourself. Ruined my entire day because of food poisoning though.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Reasonably priced and best to come for their Lunch specials. Portions are perfect and the order is promptly served. Recommended ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

I questioned the heat they put into a medium dish, (which was super hot and I can handle heat) the service I received was poor. Service overall was disgusting, we felt like we were an inconvenience. Value for money is poor. Flavor was poor (we ordered 3 dishes). Will never ever go back.

Noodle hut serves fantastic food from noodles to soups. This is one of my favourite restaurants in the entire world. The service is great and you get seated quickly without fuss and at any table you like. They server you with cold refreshing water. The food is amazing and tastes just like heaven. Ordering is really food as well because it doesnโ€™t take that long at all and the serving is very generous. I go here all the time and would definitely recommend to people looking for something very delicious to eat.

Very rude service!!! No flexibility in accommodating a party of 4. Would not consider joining 2x2 person tables together to seat us closer to the heater as it was a cold and rainy night. Ended up back at Zues and had a great dinner in front of a warm heater. Not coming back to your establishment anytime soon!!!

Prices were good. Food was fine but I felt it didn't pack as much flavour compared to other Thais I have had. We ordered Pad Thai, Pad se ew, fried rice and butter chicken. Service was good!
