Fantastic coffee, friendly service and delicious food catering to everyone. My diabetic partner was very impressed with the keto options. Came for breakfast both days of our stay. Veggo brekkie was delicious and very filling, chaffle bruschetta tasty and satisfying. Great range of teas as well. We’ll be back next time we’re in Newcastle.

Keto was why we choose to eat here. However there’s a good selection of non keto food too. And it’s the coffee is good. Indoor or out there’s plenty space to enjoy with friends.
Great to stroll down the mall and find this cafe open.

Had an egg and bacon roll from here and it was extremely delicious, hot chocolate was not as sweet as i would have liked it but it comes with a marshmallow (which i ate straight away) so that is easily fixed. Would highly recommend having lunch with friends here.

I was pleasantly surprised as to how delicious the food was. The Good gut breakie had the perfect sourdough, better than most brunch places in Sydney who have concrete thick sourdough. The house-made baked beans were very yummy. The Chai latte was also one of the best I've had. Keep up the good work!

Great staff. I had minestrone soup the other day all I can say is YUM! It was really delicious with lots of texture and taste. The bread was delicious also.

My partner and I go here for the fantastic food and vibe.Always try to get something different on the menu everytime.
And I've never been disappointed, lovely staff and s great chef.

Ducked in for a quick lunch with a friend. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they even quickly moved a table to make a pram friendly place to sit. I had the Ka-fey Beef Burger, it was delicious! Lovely lunch, great atmosphere, amazing staff - thank you.

Best spot in Newcastle! Popped in for Breakfast on our holiday in Newcastle and had to come back the next day. Food is super fresh and is delicious, best breakfasts we've had! (Malteaser pancakes are to die for!) Service, staff and atmosphere are superb and we only wished we lived closer to come more often. Great to see a new business doing so well! Great job guys.

Tucked into a cosy spot on Hunter Street, Ka-fey Cafe beats anything else Newcastle has to offer! The service is quick with the owners and staff being friendly and professional. I come here for the wide range of fermented food and great drinks. Ka-Fey Cafe has a nice warm atmosphere and I will keep coming back!

A warm welcome by the Ka-fey cafe team. The reuban sandwich was my pick with the 72 hour cured meat that was tender and delicious.

Absolutely delicious! Pot pie and veggie burger were the perfect winter warmers for our Saturday walk; so fresh & full of flavour. The staff were so friendly too- will definitely be back. Dog friendly is always a big tick in our book!
