Review Toronthai - Newcastle

Dined there with my family recently. The food is definitely not even close to authentic Thai. Rubbery meat, gloggy noodles, overly sweet and salty sauces make the food barely edible. Save your money.

Reliable and consistent. Great service. takeaways prepared with care at pace. C Curries are good. Thai fried rice with a side of the most excellent pork belly crispiness is highly recommended. Always request additional spice.

As a New Lambton local, this place is a go to for Thai, take out or eat in! Always an amazing meal and the food is super fresh! Be sure to order a side of coconut rice for yourself or to share! I always end up chilling the left over rice and eating it with chocolate chips as a sweet treat, it’s that good!

Just got their curry puffs, red curry, and basil and chilli stir fry via Menulog. Everything was spot on and delicious. All delivered 10 minutes earlier than estimated. Will definitely be ordering again.

We have eaten 5 or 6 times at Toronthai New Lambton and it has been excellent every time. We also regularly eat at their sister store in Toronto (which is equally good). Service is great, nice friendly staff and the food is always delicious.

I ordered a really delicious green curry and steamed rice. The rice was honestly the best I've ever had, sticky and soft, and the curry was flavoursome with the perfect amount of heat. I was very impressed.

Best barrumundi ginger and shallot I have ever had, service was perfect. I have a chilli allergy and they were considerate enough to ask if capsicum was ok. Curry puffs and coconut prawns were delish. Generous portion. The above was shared between 2 and will still took some home.

Decent selection of food, four plates for four people with two servings of rice is more than enough to share. Some dishes do not list all ingredients so please check with staff if you have dietary requirements. Jasmine rice was nice and fluffy. Can be a noisy location depending on traffic as it's situated next to a main road.

We have been to the Toronto restaurant previously on two occasions and decided to try the New Lambton Restaurant, and this was just outstanding. From start to finish the meal was excellent, wonderful service and lovely clean dining area. Will definitely be back!

Celebrated our 60th and 50th birthdays today at Toronthai and it was absolutely beautiful. They looked after us. Thank you Pim & Alex.
