Review Maya Cuisine - Newcastle

Their food is not worth the price at all. It's no where near authentic, fresh or good. Butter chicken was bland with no taste and rice was dripping with water and was not well cooked at all. My naan was not baked eighter and tasted like dough all the way. It also took forever to get my food. If you're planning on getting the meal deal (15.50$) I'd suggest you don't and go to Wu-Cha right on the other side of this restaurant. They sell delicious wings for 15.50$ and the plate is huge with a salad too! Wu-cha also has good service and the food is fresh! Anyone who says this is good indian food have never had proper indian before. It's way overpriced. Avoid Maya Cuisine!!

Had a really bad experience. Had a Pide, and the cheese was smelling and tasting old and moldy and looking green. Told the chef, and simply lied and told me that's how feta smells like. LOL. Waste of $11.

Great service and quality food. There was a bloke here in a quicksilver jumper who was super friendly and was doing all he could to make our service enjoyable. Made all the difference the effort he put in. Food is great and will come back

One of the worst Indian experiences I've had. They had no idea what a mango lassi was, despite it being on the menu. The rice I was given was old. The butter chicken was full of gristle.

Half inch of water at the bottom of the takeaway container presumably from the rice. Curry was bland and stodgy and pretty disappointing to be honest. Staff friendly though so 3* instead of 1*.

Poor customer quality and poor service. Takes like an hour to prepare small food.

The pide here is noteworthy. The chef is some kind of wizard. Try it!

Wonderful Amazing Service. Were very fortunate to have Maya Cuisine cater our Art Auction to raise money for Nepal a few weeks ago. The night was a huge success raising $8871 with help to Maya Cuisine for keeping the people happy and fed whilst bidding! Such lovely food and lovely people. Highly recommend this place for a good feed!
