Friendly and efficient service despite a lot of customers and it being a public holiday. Very tasty and generous steak sandwich, hamburger, vego lasagne, and battered fish - all served with great chips and salad. Coffee was good too. Tries to be fancier than they are. Food is good overall, but it's ruined by the effort it takes to eat the food. They don't seem to know what plates are, so it's harder to not make a mess while you are trying to eat. Food was worth about four stars, -1 for price vs quantity and -1 for no plates.
We enjoyed Grilled Barramundi and Roasted Veg Salad with coffee. Roasted vegetable had potato, zucchini, pumpkin, halloumi cheese and super tasty. Barramundi came with salad and chips and was super tasty with simple seasoning.
Great view from the verandah over the wetlands. Extensive lunch menu. Reasonable prices. Good presentation. We had schnitzel burger & beef burger. Both delicious. But came with a side of very ordinary chips. Also took a long time to get the food to us.
Visited the cafe today and had the Barramundi, my sister had bagel with smoked salmon. Both dishes delicious and friendly staff. Will be back.
Great cafe to go to. Staff are helpful and friendly. You can call them to make a booking or you can just turn up and they'll find you a table to sit at. This cafe is worth going to.
