With a great view of the Newcastle harbour from Lee Wharf and a nice atmosphere, Hogs is a great family spot to enjoy a meal.
The food is great and cooked exactly as requested and believe it or not it actually looks exactly like it does on the menu, which doesn't always happen and it tasted as good as it looked.
Although not necessary we booked in advance and arrived before the rush time so I'm not sure how busy it could get on a random Tuesday night.
The facilities were clean and neat. The service was pretty good and had nothing really to complain about.
Another good atraction to Hogs is that on Tuesdays kids eat free which creates even more value for money.
All round this was a good experience and I would definately recommend Hogs.

Absolutely disgraceful pricing and quality since the Menu changes. Poor waitress was so embarrassed serving us. Optional Side serves of Veges were peas and a bowl of microwaved slop.

The food was fresh and hot. I didn’t want rocket in my salad and that was no problem to change. Steak was well done like ordered and all taste just reall good. A very nice experience.

Very poor food and service. Our table was the 2nd to arrive and order meals yet 4 tables received their meals long before we did. Chicken was so burnt- sent back and replaced with fresh meal. Cesar salad ok but the bacon was off and large clumps stuck together. The majority of the staff seem to be chatting around the bar and the chefs spent more time out the back smoking and on their phones.

Service was alright. All glasses were dirty. Drinks menu had sauce on it. Entrees were brought out with 2 mains, then other 2 mains brought out 10 minutes later.

Was here last night and came back tonight as best steak ive had in along time ....well done great place to dine and enjoy the harbour of Newcastle ....staff was friendly and helpful ...thanks to all

Went there the ather night after many years . Had a 20 min wait for a table 20 min wait for food while siting on a uncomfortable chear. As soon as we got our food a stuff member asked how our food was when we had not evan started eating.. we order drinks at our table and that allso has a lengthy wait time. .
