Very very overpriced takeaway curry, especially for a low socioeconomic area like Jesmond. The "large" would be a small in most other places. Not really that tasty either. Darby raj is much better. I can't speak for the coffee.

I bought takeaway here last night. Three different curries were dry, and lacked flavour. The samosa was also dry and the garlic naan was doughy and undercooked. I asked and paid for 2 medium curries and 1 large but ended up with three medium. The lady behind the counter wouldn't know customer service if it bit her on the backside. Worst Indian we have ever had and we won't be back!

Smells amazing but the service was not friendly. Got 3 dishes + rice. Serve didn't fill container, lots of sauce with little meat & no veg? Flavour was off, too sweet & plain without the spice kick you expect from indian cooking. At least it was tame enough the little kids ate it.

The worst possible Indian restaurant in whole Australia, I would say. I wouldn't give it a "star" rating but no choice. I would call it a pseudo Indian restaurant. The cook has no clue about the Indian cuisine. Just mixing the ingredients is not enough - you got to cook it properly with spices. Never ever go there for Indian cuisine , however, you make try coffee/tea if you like :D

I decided to give this place a second chance, after receiving an oddly sweet curry the first time I ordered.
This time, I ordered a different curry and a garlic naan. The curry was so disgustingly sweet, it was totally inedible. The lamb was both fatty, (obviously not trimmed), and dry - a true accomplishment! The naan was dry, tough and had no discernible garlic flavour.
To top it off, the staff member that served me was abrupt and patronising. No wonder they're resorting to giving out free samples.

Not only did I speak to rude staff as well as a rude manager.
My foid was 40 minutes late. The currys were cold. Veggie korma extremely bland and butter chicken tasted like it was drenched in sugar. Papadams were old and the "bag" only had 2.
Upon delivery the driver had stated the reason they were late was because they had been pulled over by police. And they did not have the drinks I had ordered.

Not just the worst Indian I have ever eaten, but perhaps the worst meal I have ever paid for in my life. It also took a long time for our order. A staff member was also rude and argumentative. To top things off the portions are small and expensive! My experience was so bad I created a google account just to warn people off this place. Believe all the bad reviews!

Worst Indian food ever!! Rice was like it was cooked 12 days ago and left out. Curries aren't "fresh" had to wait for it to be reheated and had hardly any flavour. Staff just constantly yelled at each other.
Was dissapointing, inedible and wont be back!!
