Review Fifty2 - Newcastle

I didn't get the chance to sit in, but the food and amount given for takeaway is definitely on the generous side. The food was great! I absolutely loved the Xiao long baos, rainbow beef and the lamb dumplings!! I highly recommend them! :) Also I did not expect the rainbow beef portion to be so generous but I loved it nonetheless. I also ordered half a duck and pork/prawn pan fried buns.

Great little restaurant. Could not fault the food, one of the best rainbow beef's I have ever had and the combination fried rice was delicious

Good size and tasty servings. Enjoyed dumplings, satay chicken and rainbow beef. The fried dumplings were moist and tasty. Rainbow beef cooked just right not overcooked or dry. Steamed dumplings were very plump. Very good!

Very nice restaurant, absolutely loved the special fried rice! The place lives upto it's name with great dumplings, we had the prawn and pork dumplings and they tasted great! The garlic prawns were also really good, nice fresh prawns with not too much garlic. Fried Dim Sims were ok. The only thing we didn't really enjoy was the sweet and sour pork, not the typical dish that you would get from a Chinese restaurant. The restaurant looks really nice and most of the staff were nice and welcoming. Small language barrier with some staff. Overall really good experience and we will be going back there!

Had pan fried buns, steamed dumplings, crab meat and sweet corn soup, fried noodles and, the hot and sour soup (which I forgot to take a photo of because everyone dug in too quickly - too good, evidently). Definitely one of the best Chinese food places in Newcastle. Amicable staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Our party consisted of 7 people, meals came out quite fast...10min. Food was delicious. Price was reasonable. Menu has a lot of choice. Parking was in the street. Its not an upmarket type of restuarant but the it's atmosphere was nice. I will be going back.

The staffs were friendly, the shef is kind and excellent, the tastes like south of China, the Peking beef is a little bit lost standard, veg dumpling wrapper is dry, and the table was not clean enough, anyway it is a good Chinese restaurant in Au.
