Wonderful coffee shop, perfect coffee and lovely lady & gent who served me this morning. Truly delightful experience. If I lived in Newcastle this would be my regular joint. And just look at all the books! A couple of sofa chairs and you’d have people lounging all day :)

One of the coolest vibes in any cafe I've been in. Walked past and on another day walked 20 minutes out of my way just to come in. Had a chai latte which was unreal and was able to drink it while having a look at a few travel books. Well decorated and cannot stress how cool this place is. Friendly staff. Would take friends here when I visit Newcastle.

This place exceeded all expectations! Upon arrival we anticipated a quick in-n-out book buy on the way to the beach. Instead we encountered a store of fabulous tea and coffee, table games, and endless pre-loved books of all genres. Drawn to character and charm we stayed for several hours and came away with four books, three coffees, a pot of tea and a smile on our face. We highly anticipate our return and would recommend to anyone.

Should preface this by saying I'm not Vegan. Bought a large Cap and a "Chunky Funky" from here this morning. WOW. Best vegan option food I've eaten in a while. Hat's off.

Quaint is 100% the perfect way to describe the atmosphere of this cool little coffee shop. Perfectly situated on hunter street close to the city uni campus. I had a $2 stand up ristretto which was the perfect pick me up for a dreary winters day complimented by some authentic and real conversation with the barister and server. They serve "Nitro cold brew" on tap here which is creamy and light to taste wonderfully balanced by the acidity of the coffee with the Nitrogen assisted bubble finesse. You'd think you were drinking a coffee stout with only positive side effects.

One of my favourite cafes in Newcastle. Coffee is great and toasted sandwiches are excellent. Many vegan options. Staff are friendly and helpful. Large range of books too, the bookshelf surroundings help create a calm and cozy atmosphere.

An excellent quirky cafe. Looks tiny from the outside and inside is the definition of cosy. Stuff were extremely polite - a rarity these days and it does have the wonderful feeling of getting lost around books with a nice cup of coffee. Speaking of coffee, cappuccino was excellent. I will remember this cafe every time I will be in the city. I wish this place was open later hours - it will be perfect for late nights or stormy weather

Really nice "book cafe" in Newcastle. Really cozy atmosphere with the music playing in the background and the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Either bring a book or buy one for a cheap price at the cafe, sit down and enjoy. Good pastries as well!
