I've walked past Daily Bakehouse near Woolworths at Marketown and never realised they did bahn mi, which I like. Their version has a lovely roll, pate, cucumber, pickled carrots and onion, ham, coriander, chilli and pork belly. Very fresh, flavoursome, and delicious.
I also picked up a yummy apple strudel. There are a number of sweet treats, pies, savoury pastries, rolls, coffee etc to choose from.

Usually great every Saturday but today!? Most of my curry pie ended up in the paper bag And it wasn’t even curry

Been enjoying buying lunch for years, food and staff have been great until new staff arrived with poor customer service, serving poor quality product. Not going back anytime soon.

Pies and sausage rolls are delicious and the half price bread at the end of the day is great. I recommend the Vietnamese roll with chilli.

Everything I try here is so good. Great pies. Cheese and bacon sausage rolls for $3.50 are huge and the best around. Friendly staff too

Have hunted down banh mi all over Newcastle and 100% these are the best. Leaves Charlestown for dead. (honourable mention to the new café in Steel River Industrial Park in Mayfield though, they're a close second but you just can't beat a Marketown banh mi).

Solid banh mi in newy (finally)! Truly crusty bread (not stale) and fresh authentic toppings.

Best Vietnamese pork rolls in Newcastle. Good value at $6.50.
