This cafe situated on the busy intersection of North Road is a must visit.
Their interior, decor and ambience is a perfect compliment to the great coffee (with oat milk) and the light fluffy staples like a chilli scramble with chorizo or marinated feta hits the spot.
The service was on point and very fast kitchen hands producing the delicious menu.
Great light with the big windows fronting the main road and the wooden furniture is rustic and warm.
Will be coming back for the ricotta hotcakes...

WOW!!! This place is a ‘gem’ sitting in a perfect location away from parking restriction and opposite parkland. Clean neat and trendy with an interesting array of food options. We went Friday of Grand final weekend – a party of 6. Each family member chose different dishes and different drink options and everyone was extremely happy with their food. Staff were all pleasant, co-operative and attentive, although sometimes we needed more time to decide. Despite being incredibly busy the kitchen staff were able to comply with my request for my toast and butter to be on the side. Highly recommend this venue and will certainly return when back in Williamstown. I didn’t notice signage so take particular notice of the street number or check out the venue the day before.
Came here on a Monday for lunch. A quiet, good sized corner cafe. Had a rustic feel, liked the wooden benches all around with books for little ones to read. Had a great Chai latte & burger with onion rings.
Great place for brekkie/ brunch! Friendly service and terrific food. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Love going here every weekend. One of our favourites. The bagel with their delicious hollandaise sauce is my top choice. Smashed avo definitely comes in next! Thanks for your great meals and lovely staff 😊👍
A great scramble eggs ! Perfect eggs, perfect sourdough and Creme fraiche . Good coffee. The only thing that is a let down is the atmosphere.
Smashed avo and soy chai was very nice. Staff were very friendly. Cafe has a great vibe, very ‘hustle bustle Melbourne’ but not too loud like some other cafes. Will definitely be coming back!
Sunday Brunch at The Pint of Milk was a pleasant surprise. From the outside, the building lacks charm but once inside this little cafe is buzzing with life and the delicious smell of coffee.
I tried the pumpkin sourdough with avocado which was as really tasty, the broad beans and pomegranate really added that extra zing to the dish. On the other hand the chicken focaccia was pretty underwhelming and a tad dry. It could have used some extra mayo. The coffee was lovely and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. Would come back again to give some other items off the menu a go.
I came in during the week before work, Coffee was really nice, but I felt the wait was too long, but I will return - well done guys. I can’t wait to try some of the menu

This is a decent cafe with respectable brunch and lunch options. The coffee is fine and the food is okay. We had the chicken salad - the overall flavour was a little bit bland. We also had a calamari salad. Again, a bit bland but the calamari was tender. The menu choices are standard and the service was pretty average. It took a fair while to deliver the food and it wasn't that busy.

The Pint of Milk is an old-fashioned Melbourne Cafe across the road from Newport Park. Perfect for a hearty breakfast after an outdoor workout. The coffee is really good and the (available all day) breakfast quite tasty, with plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. There is a handy outdoors nook if you’re planning on sitting outside, so bring the dog along.
A nice little cafe. Lots of parking near by with friendly service and a warm interior. It seems they are not trying to set any trends or blow people away with amazing food but what they serve is simple but pleasing. They are reasonably priced too. The sort of place you would like to have at the end of your street.

“The Pint of Milk” is one of my favourite cafes in the west. Creamy coffee & a great, seasonal menu. Staff are always helpful too, parking is super easy around the cafe as well

Came to pint of milk on a weekday for brunch. Had the ricotta hotcakes with passionfruit curd and fresh strawberries, it was slightly dry and not as fluffy as expected whilst the passionfruit curd is good wish they gave more of it. Coffee is pretty standard

I wanted to live in the house beside the Pint of Milk. It would have been nice, as I would be able to have breakfast here in the mornings. Williamstown is lovely. This brunch place is always packed with your neighbourhood community. Supported by locals, friendly service, yummy foods.
The perfect quick lunch. Nice coffee with a fresh bagel. You really can't complain about the service. Excellent food and staff are really nice.

A ripper cafe in the west ! One of the best avo smash I've seen and the salmon bagel is my fav. Can't order anything else now ! Coffee is great - outdoor seating is great for dogs and staff are fantastically friendly - we will be back :)

The Dear Luncher grew up out in Melbourne’s West and occasionally he will make the voyage back to his roots. When The Dear Luncher was a wee boy, the site currently occupied by The Pint of Milk was a milk bar. Milk Bars are part of the folklore of Australian suburban life. Increasingly they are harder to find, and this is sad. But let me tell you folks, it’s not as sad as not being able to get a decent coffee when you’re in need. You see it’s all to do with demographics now and The Pint of Milk caters to Your Dear Luncher’s demographic. The Dear Luncher does not need footy cards or 5 cent redskins from a milk bar. The day Your Dear Luncher visited The Pint of Milk was Mother’s Day. To say it was busy would be an understatement. It was busier than a one-armed brickie in Beirut. The folks at The Pint of Milk carried themselves extremely well despite being under the pump. Coffees were excellent, the food was extremely good. The Dear Luncher ordered the toasted bagel with poached eggs and bacon (pictured). Mrs Luncher requested the scrambled eggs with chives, crème fraiche on sourdough with mushrooms. The Dear Luncher highly recommends The Pint of Milk for a breakfast or brunch. The coffee was of a very high standard as well.
Breakfast was good. I can't fault the chorizo cassoulet. My BF ordered the bubble and squeak which was very tasty too.
The food took a little while to arrive but it was definitely worth the wait.
Very nice little cafe that I will continue to frequent. Staff are always friendly, general vibe is good and coffee always a winner. A little on the small side, but has outside seating too.
Have ordered the halloumi/falafel salad twice and is always very delicious. Halloumi cooked to perfection, falafels are nice and moist which is wonderful because dry falafels are horrid. Servings could be a tiny bit bigger, however still reasonably priced. Coffee is consistent and good quality and I am yet to dabble in any of the cakes/desserts, however they always look delightful.
All in all, a lovely little spot with delicious food, good coffee and friendly staff.
The Pint Of Milk is one of the best place I have ever went to, and that's said by a someone who doesn't drink milk, but black coffee.😅

I ordered their Super Bowl from the chefs special and I couldn't have done a better choice. The food was just screaming freshness, quality and yumminess❤.
Not only the service is top notch and the food is flavoursome but the whole venue projects such a lively, lovely and warm feeling that makes it hard to leave. 😣
If you are on this side is the bridge this joint is a must try! It's only 15min away from the city, and there is plenty of parking😄.

Food is AMAZING! Drinks were delicious. Very small cafe so it can be hard to get a seat. But I would stand outside for days to have the fresh produce. Love it!

Thought we would give it another go, and pleased that they have reviewed the menu and changed pancakes. So great! Had amazing smashed avo, added some poached eggs which just made the dish. Love buying the bread and always happy with the chai. The gnocchi was a bit stoggy and not fluffy, but had good flavours.

After coming here for years I think we will unfortunately need to find a new place.
While the staff are still great we have noticed the bacon, which we pay extra for when ordering the bagel, has withered down to 1 measly piece, there used to be a very generous amount of bacon, alas no more. The bagel was also cold.
They also took off another favourite, the ricotta hotcakes and replaced it with pancakes with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup. The new pancakes were underwhelming, overly sweet and a bit boring. I can make them at home, I want to eat something exciting like hotcakes with merangue and curd that used to be on the menu.

Needed brunch after a morning of house hunting in the area, guess we arrived at peak time as there was only a table outside available. Asked the girl if we could move inside when one became available. Got our orders taken and then were pleasantly surprised to see staff actually talking to each other as before we knew it someone else was coming to get us in. Food and coffee arrived promptly, both looked good size portions. My partner in crime had the fritters which were great, I went for a toasted bagel and somehow managed to fit it all in. Definitely will come back and make out way through the menu when we are locals...
Elisha Hodges and I enjoyed a breakfast bagel here. The staff here were very rude, uninviting and slow. The overall meal was lovely and fresh and the prices were fair. The serving size was good as we struggled to finish the whole meal. The food here was very enjoyable but due to the bad customer service I won't be back.
Fantastic coffee, best in the area. Breakfast menu is a little limited compared to others locally, but consistently great and often no issues getting a table despite being a small place. Staff are very friendly

Ordered a breaky bagel in this small corner stop cafe. Got there early and packed up really quick. My poached eggs were a bit hard on the inside. The chorizos and bagel was a great mixed and hollandaise had a great taste to it. I'd love to come back and try the other breaky options.
A little Gem on the west side! For a while I spent a lot of time on this side of town when my bestie lived near by. This cafe is delightful. Great menu unique corner location and you are left feeling full and content! A great little place for some chin wagging and hipster dishes.
This cafe is ideally located along North Rd, just before you hit The Strand (Williamstown). From inside, you get a nice view of the Westgate Bridge and parkland.
Whilst the coffee was just nice, the breakfast quality was well above average. We ordered the toasted bagel with avocado, spinach, poached eggs, hollandaise and mushrooms (mushys was an extra but you can get bacon or salmon instead), and it was fresh and full of flavour. The hollandaise and mushrooms were a real standout.
My partner got the eggs on toast scrambled, with bacon, on sourdough and this too was beautifully cooked and the crunchiness of the bread made it even better! Service was great, it's an impressive fit out and they've got a mortgage on that little area so they've done well. Recommended.
Best coffee ever. And I live in brunswick so that's a big call. Ate here years ago and it was yum. Excellent coffee and yummy food. What else do you need?
Really cool little cafe. Great atmosphere, very busy. Service was quick and friendly, however it took around 15 minutes for a single latté to come out. It was a busy Saturday morning but still a while... food on the other hand came quickly and was beautiful! Sweet Potato fritters, yum yum yum.
Coffee is very distinctive, thick and creamy, definitely worth having two.
I had this amazing omelette the other day, the mushrooms were cooked to perfection and the flavors were so good. I will definitely be going there again! Just to add they have great coffee too.

What a find, found this place by chance and now I almost every time I'm in the area get my fix. Has a great feel and vibe , staff are always friendly and welcoming. Organic coffee is the go here, don't bother with near by cafés should you be in the area.
Pleasant decor with a part rustic, part modern feel. Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent coffee. Tasty breakfast food (we had Argentenian steak and exotic mushrooms). Only thing I could fault is the level of comfort; when sitting in a corner, you sit right under the speaker so it feels a bit loud and the bench chairs don't offer enough back support. Some more cushions would help. Overall a good experience.
Wow! Cycled down to Williamstown and stopped by this gem on the way home. The menu is fantastic, the service without fault (we were sitting outside around the corner, yet we still received regular visits) and the food was spot on.
Mmmmmmm toasted chicken pide is absolutely delicious!!! Chicken is expertly seasoned & tangy home made aioli really brings it all together. Recommend this dish. Coffee is consistently excellent. Cakes & bickkies look yummy but I have not yet had the pleasure of sampling.

Loved Sunday breakfast here! Had the rosti with bacon and a perfect latte. Also the breakfast steak was beautiful. Team that with a stunning Melbourne day and it was a win all round.
Fantastic place for brunch and coffee! I'm not sure what the last few reviews were taking about but we did not have to wait 40mins or an hour to get our food. Our food came out in a very timely manner and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!
The sautéed exotic mushrooms with truffled chestnuts and telaggio was perfect with an extra side of chorizo 👌🏼 and the avocado and feta on pumpkin sourdough with chili, mint and broad bean dressing is a must try. The servings were more than generous and quite filling. Can't wait to come back and try their potato rosti, bagels, and gnocchi! 😋
Great little cafe and friendly staff make you feel welcome. One requirement when house hunting was I wanted a cafe within walking distance that had good coffee - Pint of Milk fits the bill.
What the hell. I cannot even begin to comprehend the amount of bullshit I have just endured. I am a pregnant women, and have a young baby in my pram. As I approached the door of this place I saw three staff members looking at me. I begin to open the door with my hands full and none of the ignorant staff members opened the door for me, just continued to watch me struggle immensely. I walk in the store, fairly annoyed, and the Asian woman by the name of Mei Ling fly kicked me in the stomach. The next day I went to my local GP and found out that my baby had died in my stomach. I went back the next day to tell them what had happened and they offered me a coffee on the house. I was quite pleased with this service because I knew that they understood that what they had done was inappropriate. I sat my fat ass down and ordered the bagel with bacon and it was really nice, I loved it. Overall I am very pleased with the service. Definitely coming back again!
Tried the pototoe rosti and salmon ..absolutely delicious, my daughter enjoyed the open steak sandwich..both meals cooked to perfection, and the service was impecciable. Thank you
We had been past this little unassuming place so many times, but had never gone in. I’m not quite sure what made me think of it this Sunday morning, but it was worth the trip. There’s not too much that I need to elaborate on – the menu is better than your usual, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food that comes out is awesome.
I’ve aways found the coffee, food, and service to be consistently good. The food is simple, but made with very good produce and well presented. There appears to be some Middle Eastern and European influence in the flavours. My friend The Vegetarian comments that they have a lot of vegie options, which is true – but those dishes are usually so tasty that they actually appeal to me more so than the meaty options, and it’s what I always end up ordering.

Worth the trip out to Newport!. This place is GREAT!
Went for brunch, middle of December 2014 after hearing good things about this place from a Williamstown local. We came out from the city...and we weren't disappointed.
The cafe itself is lovely. Nice cosy atmosphere inside, busy but not rammed, with an open kitchen area and lots of wood on display. Staff were exceptionally friendly, chatting with us about things whilst also being quietly efficient.
We had several cups of REALLY good coffee....definitely up there with some of the more well known city coffee shops I've been to and the food was also very good. We had Fritatas and Salmon and Eggs Florentine with Salmon. Food was cooked well and the salmon was a proper slab, unlike the measly scraping you get in some places.
We sat and relaxed for ages and watched people come and go without being made to feel like we should be moving.....like some places seem to do.
Overall:
Pros: Lovely cycle ride out from the city along the river / sea front. Great Coffee. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Nice cosy interior to the place.
Cons: Portions weren't massive but were certainly adequate. Its not the cheapest place you'll find. The toilet is located round the back of the cafe and you have to leave the restaurant (wasn't a problem in summer when we went but might be in winter).
Overall: I'd thoroughly recommend this place...and put it HIGH on my list of places to go for brunch in the Melbourne area! It has the all round appeal of great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food and coffee...what more could you want!

Pretty good. We went there this morning after hearing good things about it from friends. Good service, good coffee and good vibe. The food took a little long to come out but nothing too bad as it was a busy time (12.30pm on Sunday). We had the potato Rosti which were fantastic.
Nice Weekend Brunch. Finally visited this local on the weekend and enjoyed a great coffee, ham and cheese croissant. It was very busy but service was fast and I found a nice spot to sit outside in the sun. I think the water even had rosemary infused in it, which seemed a nice touch. Simple brunch that I really enjoyed thank you.

Fantastic!!. We headed here for a very late brunch and I will definitely be going back. I could rave about the gnocchi for hours, and the rosti my husband had was delicious also. We also had this delightful summer mocktail thing - so good I had two! The service was really friendly, they got water for our dog without us asking and they even told us exactly how to make the drink. Seating is fairly limited but when we went at midday on a Saturday we got a table immediately. We sat outside and whilst it was 35 degrees, we were in the shade and there was a wonderful breeze coming through. POM - we will see you again soon!!
Recently had breakfast here and loved better than my first visit. I has the poached eggs on potato rosti and it was amazing! Chai latte was also very good! Good service and great atmosphere!
