The Vintage Cafe - Newtown - Photo album

This place is awesome! I came with group of friends, it was Sunday dinner time, there was live music performances that make the atmosphere classic and fancy. We ordered octopus, grilled shrimp, grilled mushroom, meatballs, authentic chorizo in flame (this one really achieved amazing visual impact) a
Lunch with friends.... quiet day... great service, good fresh food, nice eggs benedict. Recommend the vegetarian sandwich on great turkish bread. Had the coffee here before.. pretty good too. Another trip.... really good.... Mediterranean omelette very tasty. the vegetarian sandwich still fabulo
Nice decor, the bacalhau coccottes was nice, a little mild in flavour but great texture. Spanish omelette was a bit on the salty side, overpowered the olives. Wife wasn't a fan of the prawn spaghetti. Wouldn't mind trying the tapas at night but wouldn't return for breakfast/lunch
Came here after the Newtown festival and walked into a jazz jam session! Turns out they have jazz jamming on Sunday afternoon from around 5! Really like the vibe in this cafe. Friendly staff too but hadn’t really tried the food here yet
Good service and restaurant decorations. However, breakfast food menu needs improvement especially the Vintage Breakfast cost around $18.90 something. Mushroom too salty and eggs cooked for too long. Also, for some breakfast over $15 should have a least a little bit better presentation than this.
Place is as it's name. Got good feel good of vintage bars. Food was tasty & filly. Service was quick. Staff were polite. Loved the ambience. Would like to go again. 😊
Nice vibe to the restaurant. Great friendly staff. Food is enjoyable but not a wow factor. Great coffee!
Coffee is a bit on the harsh side, but this is very much a personal taste thing. The food is OK - nothing overwhelming but certainly acceptable. Service was quick and friendly.
