We had a wild night at this bar! The staff and one of the managers were super helpful at drink suggestions as well as making sure that we stumbled out of there satisfied. It’s only a small touch but we absolutely smashed the complimentary pretzels on offer. A great new addition to this side of king street.

Such a cute, little cocktail bar with cosy seating at the front and relaxed seating out the back. Super friendly and helpful staff! Happy hour deals were great with a big range of drinks to select from as well as normal prices being quite good. Large selection of spirits, including a wide range of Aquavit - we hadn't heard of it prior to visiting and were very impressed and well educated about it by bar staff. Good selection of snacks/simple small plates such as cheeses and dips - also well priced. 10/10 will visit again when back in Sydney ❤️

What a wonderful edition to Newtown. Big shout out to owner and manager, Peter, who is so personable and warm. Love the cosy setting, the wooden games, and I must say the 'Clockwork Orange' is an absolute winner! Nice work and see you soon.

This place was amazing! So warm and cozy inside, 4 separate sitting areas, and their signature spirit "Akvavit" was superb. I've never typically enjoyed sipping spirits but the recommendation and history we received on our drinks - wow. Thank you, we will be back!!

We all loved this little quaint bar! The vibe is chilled, comfortable & cozy. It feels like your hanging in your friends inner city apartment. The staff are super lovely as are the drinks! We loved that we were able to order food in so that everyone's wants were met. Great place for a group, date or solo! Trivia with a twist was so, so much fun & we can't wait to come back!!!

Loved the cosy neighbourhood feel of this place: we felt instantly at home as soon as we walked in. Mr R moved from Scandinavia to Sydney years ago and the Danish flavoured menu was incredibly nostalgic. Excellent aquavit and moreish cheese platter (with jam!). Hygge indeed... Tandem has just redefined it for us. Guys, can we please have more food on the bar menu? We want to move in...

Fantastic cocktails and super down to earth staff. The front bar is great for people watching on King Street, the courtyard out back is better for catching up with a group of friends.
