Great pizza serving whole meal spelt baes with quality and innovative toppings. So many veggie options. We mostly do takeaway but great place to sit in and eat also
Good thin and crispy pizzas, although it had gone just a little soggy. Standout toppings, great flavours even if it seemed like they were pretty sparse.
Food was made fast and tasted deliciousssss I’m a big fan!!! Also such good pricing so cheap! An extra large pizza was enough for 3 people. I really rate it
One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Good service and good value too. I had the Balboa (meatlovers) and my wife had one of their vegan pizzas. We'll be back.
A bit of a walk from the station, BUT very very worth it. My partner and I ordered a chilli prawn pizza and a potato pizza (potato head) with a side of garlic and cheese bread. The presentation of the garlic and cheese bread was unexpectedly adorable, not to mention how good it tasted with the garlic and pesto dressing, we found it very flavourful. The potato pizza was very nice and not too bland like other potato pizzas. The roasted garlic pieces and chorizo toppings were a great compliment to the potato. Our chilli prawn pizza was not too chilli which was good for me but if you need the table has complimentary chilli oil if you want to add a little more spice.
Overall super tasty food and despite his grumpy look on the chefs face he was very friendly.
Only disappointment was the staff did not greet us upon arrival and we ended up seating ourselves before 1 minute later were asked what we would like to order just as we picked up the menu. I think he was new though.
Really nice service here. The pizzas are always tasty and the crispy thin crusted pizzas bases are great. I had the Bosco and the toppings were fresh and delicious.
I had the pleasure of ordering pizza from RocketBoys Newtown for a function. The pizzas were amazing and all of the pizzas we had ordered were finished in 5 mins, with everyone commending the pizzas were the best that had in a while. The variety of the pizzas they have on offer allows it to cater to everyone.
Thank you so much for your great service.
I bloody love Rocketboy and only wish it was open for lunch too! Pizzas are delicious and the staff are always accommodating with my various dietary requests. The chicken salad is also brilliant and I appreciate them using organic chicken and sustainable meats on the menu.
Love the pizza's here, but they are a fraction over priced for what they are. Love the gilligan's island, but some other pizzas fell a bit short on flavour, and could do with a few more toppings. Definitely better than your average pizza place. Have had to wait a bit longer than expected sometimes, and the venue is a bit small for eating in, and feels a bit cramped with people waiting for pick ups.
Dough Boy Newtown is located at the start of King Street Newtown. They do pretty great pizzas and I order from them a bit. The store looks nice from the street with the abundant use of red but I’ve never sat in and dined here. Thought it was time to do a write up and visit the store. Dough Boy Newtown sits at 30 King and is a simple enough pizzeria that probably sits about 20 max. Its small, decently kitted out (pizza dish lamps Tomato sauce can wallpaper) and it makes the most of the space that its allotted. I do think if it lost the horrible marketing brochures on that wall in the photo below, it’d be a lot nicer. :P I get the need for it though, they do a lot of deliveries. M,L,XL pizzas. This time round, we ordered the chicken pizza (HOT CHICK) $21 and the Peri Prawn Pizza $22 (with a wedge of lemon) I personally prefer thin based pizzas, just less doughy and more focused on the ingredients at hand. As is, both pizzas here were ladened with the ingredients that they should come wit
It's not often we head to the other side of town for some pizza. Now, when I say "other side of town" I mean the other end of King Street that happens to be a whopping two kilometres away. When you're tired after work, couldn't be bothered cooking, you do

Dining in is all about the dough; the warm, yeasty smell permeates the dining room making you very hungry indeed. This is quickly fixed with their excellent (and cleverly sliced) breads – both the Garlic and Cheese Bread ($7.50) and the Olive Bread ($7.50
Oink. The margherita is so good. Drool. If I wasn’t such a fat pig that had to go on a diet I’d be eating one right now.
Delicious pizzas with a crispy thin base. I had The Judd which was spicy from the chorizo and dripping in oil (but in a satisfying way as it was raining outside and I was sore from boot camp). Service wasn't too great though...we were hungry and sat waiting for about 10 min before someone came and took our order. Overall really nice pizza and hole in the wall atmosphere and would definitely go again
Have never had a bad meal here - always amazing and reasonably priced.
