The staff at Falafel are always lovely, as is the food. Tonight I enjoyed the $10 fish & chip meal and as I always do, requested additional chicken salt. Our attendant was only too happy to help us out with as much chicken salt as we required. Parched from the additional salt, I upgraded my meal for just $3.50 with a 600ml cold drink. Turning to the fridge my eyes were drawn immediately to the bottom right shelves. Shining an otherworldly green were rows upon rows of Mountain Dew bottles. They seemed to radiate a rich, bright glow not gleaned from their cold surrounds. The drink was cool, sweet and the perfect compliment to my savoury meal. Even now the Mountain Dew bottle stands a dull, glowing vigil beside me in my dark courtyard. I am satisfied, I am energised, and I owe it all to Mountain Dew and Falafel on King.

tidy space with friendly and handsome staff, fries are delicious, so does the burger(BTW, what’s the purple sour thing in the burger? It’s new to me...interesting) You will be regret if you miss Fahita Wrap, worth tasting!

Great customer service and amazing falafel! The shawarma meat and chicken is also delicious. I loved the freshness of all the veggies and the fact that none of the food left any oily residue. It was clean and healthy eating. Very and relaxing in-store interior design with great attention to detail on every plate delivered to our table. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best Falafel in Australia! The staff are really nice and the stuff they put in your food is as fresh as you could ask for. Definitely the place to go if you're hungry for some authentic Lebanese style food in Newtown.

I'd never been a fan of falafel until an impromptu dinner at Falafel on King. Wow. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and so tasty. I talked to the girl who took the order and she said it was because they cooked to order, no dry old falafel sitting there waiting. Rather they cooked them fresh on the spot. I'll definitely be back. We also ordered a lamb wrap. Really good too. Plus the service was really friendly too. Definitely 5 stars!

Can't recommend this place enough, the food is just absolutely delicious. The falafel roll is the best I have ever tasted. You can tell all the food is prepared daily and made with love. The people running it are just so lovely and friendly, and it's so cheap!!!!

Absolutely loved this place. Excellent customer service, super friendly and cultured of the food they served. The freshly made falafel was devine! They make them and cook them right infront of you! Not to mention the yummy tabouli salad, hummus and toom garlic dip which was full of flavour. The resturant itself was very clean, well presented and organised. Very resonably priced and great portion sizing. Would highly reccommend this place to anyone wanting some great middle eastern food.

Arrived late one evening at Falafel on King. One of the staff members recommended beef shawarma. It's rare to find the old school marinated beef strips which are packed with flavour and very tender. The only issue I had was I wanted more. Will be heading back here for all my shawarma needs. Hopefully will try the falafel next time.

Update June 2018 - falafels are still great, but they charge much more now, and considering the rest of their menu is pretty average, and falafels don’t come with the extras they used to, I don’t eat here anymore. Old review: If you have a craving for quality falafels and accompaniments, go directly to falafel on king. I bought a falafel roll a few weeks. Ack when they opened and was very impressed. Their falafels are huge, deliciously light, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Great value for money, clean place, nice people. I'm sure more positive ratings will follow.
