Review Lord Of The Fries - Newtown

It is located on the main road. Parking can be difficult as it is a crowded area. Seating available inside for 10-12 people and outside for four people. It is primarily a take away restaurant. Service is quick and the staff are very friendly. The food is top notch and definitely worth trying out.

Finally got to dine in Lord of the fries! Got the Big Chick’n Burger with sweet potato fries and Belgian sauce! Burger was delicious and so filling! Chips were also tasty but a little on the soggy side, they would break when I’d try and dip them in but still good! Will defo be back!

I had a Southern fried chicken(vegan) burger and sweet potato chips and It was the best vegan burger I've had in a while. so very tasty and I'll be back to try other ones on the menu!!!

2 stars because the fries were terrible - so bad they were thrown uneaten in the bin. Both the shoestring and sweet potato fries were soggy and undercooked - likely they had been taken out of the vats too early. Burgers were good but not great - very light, somewhat tasty but not at all filling. Hash brown, onion rings and hot dog were really good. Overall this is average vegan junk food

DO NOT EAT HERE! When I went to this place, they had 2 dudes inside doing renovations in the shop. If people are doing renovations you shouldn't be cooking food at the same time. Anyways at the time I ignored it. I ordered a chicken burger and fries. In a meal and so did my partner. We both waited for our food and sat OUTSIDE the shops because there were no seats available dude to the 2 dudes doing renovations. Funny isn't it. So both my partner and I sat outside no issues. We ate our food and as soon as both of us looked at our burgers we both looked at each other and thought the same thing. "This isn't how it's supposed to look right?" Anyways, we were hungry so we ate the food. Straight off the bat the food was bland, warm, and very disgusting. For a company that calls themselves lord of the fries. The fries were shocking terrible. The burger we both had was ANYTHING but chicken it tasted like goo. and was white grey in colour. Pretty sure it wasn't chicken. At the time we were just hungry so we just ate it. No joke, not even 15 minutes after my partner and I rushed to the toilet and had go to the bathroom cause the food caused us serve stomach pains and the sweats. Long story short this place is trash and I will never eat here again. I've written this review so that it might save other poor souls that haven't eaten here before and are thinking of eating here.... For your stomachs sake and health and mental state... DONT. Also their terrible food is way overpriced.

This place used to be great, but the quality has just gone down the drain. I used to CRAVE Lord of the Fries, but these days I prefer to avoid it. My last 5 or so visits have resulted in terrible food, but I kept coming back hoping it was just an off day. Last time I had to promise myself to never return. it's such a shame because you guys used to be the absolute best 💔

So disappointed. The food was such a let down. We ordered $70 worth of food not a single dish was enjoyable or worth the price. Fried chicken? More like soggy nuggets. The photos aren't anything like what you order. How on earth is this mac and cheese worth $9.50. Honestly save your money and travel down the street to "I should be souvlaki". There food is 100% better. I will never recommend this restaurant.

Chips were nice. We got an original burger and a Melbourne Hot Dog that was really disappointing. They lacked in flavour or were oddly sweet. I would come back again for the fries. Wish they had more options for loaded fries.

It's incredible to be able to actually sit down at a LOTF (instead of always having to get take away at Central and George St)! The restaurant itself is done up so nicely, and has convenient garbage disposal holes (round for drink containers, rectangle for other items) which I really loved. Service is great and the food is the classic LOTF quality we have all come to know and love. This place is beyond excellent...and just can't say it enough...I love being able to walk in and sit down at a table! Revolutionary.

Wow terrible terrible! Cold vegan hot dog. Raw onions. Soggy microwaved bun! Inedible!!!!!!! What a disappointment! It’s such a shame having this half arsed venue in a vego town!
