This restaurant is great! I go here with me family all the time and LOVE the food. Customer service is great and staff are great.
Lovely 😊
You know a place is decent when it’s not even 7pm on a Tuesday night and it’s already full of people! It’s a mixture of Chinese and Vietnamese with a very extensive menu. The staff were extremely friendly, patient, attentive and asked us after every course if we were enjoying it. For $10 we got 8 prawn spring rolls which was very cheap, and the presentation of this enteee was beautiful. Wonton soup was delicious and fragrant, full of leafy greens! The Mongolian beef was also lovely with no filler (like too many onions) lots of lean beef and vegetables. Will definitely be going back to try their hot pots amongst many other things!

Could not be happier with the quality of food and service !! Always fresh regardless of eating in or take away .. Best Vietnamese I've had in melbourne .. quick service and very friendly ....
Has a great family feel this place. You can bring your kids and family in general and not feel uncomfortable. Very friendly staff that make you feel at home. Gluten free friendly options also is available. Had plenty of different entrees and main dishes. Definitely a place where you must share at to get a taste of all the great food it has. Nice place to visit and been here many times and tonight it still brings me a smile. The owner also brings a bit of a cameo chat which is entertaining too. They looked after us for good seating too close to the tv. Me and a friend got to see Smith hit 200 and Marsh hit 100. Top night overall.
My family and I have been going here for 10 years and we love it! The food is sensational, the customer service is lovely and it's an all round brilliant place!
For Vietnamese this place is very neat, clean, fast and not heavy.
I find out of all the Asian food you can get Vietnamese is one of the ones that has the least heavy sauces and this place does just that. We got a couple of entrees which were all great and not overly heavy.
Mains were quiet nice too so no complaints there. Nothing WOW but absolutely nothing bad either.
It's really cheap too for the amount of food you get and I didn't feel rushed or cramped . Although food comes out quite quickly so don't expect to be here all night

Reasonably nice food, although after travelling to Vietnam, I'm not sure how genuinely Vietnamese most of it is. Service is always friendly and timely. Price is favorable.
We have been coming here for the last 6 years great food and lunch is value for money we would recommend to all service is good. it is byo which helps cut costs
Niddrie is over serviced with restaurants of all types, but over the past 2 years we keep coming back to Chi Chi and exploring the wonderful range of Vietnamese food options on offer. Never had a bad meal with our love for the flounder, duck dishes, and outstanding Singapore noodles are just some dishes that stand out!! Wonderful family type service that says it all for a dining experience..
Really great Vietnamese food! The portions are good and staff are nice. From the outside you wouldn't think much of it as it looks dingy and small, but it is lovely and very roomy inside.
Came here for dinner a few nights ago and as always was not left dissapointed at all. We got vegetarian spring rolls, chicken cashew and mongoligan beef with two servings of fried rice and two banana fritters for dessert. As always we didnt have to wait long for our food and the service was exceptional.. Amazing food for a great price. What more could You want.. I reccomend this restaurant to all my friends!!
I came here for dinner, first time i am trying Vietnamese food. Got greeted straight away we got a table. The place was half full. There was so many selection which made me confuse what to order so i went for crumbed king prawns for entre and sizzling chili&basil beef with fried beef rice.. prawns were good. I enjoyed the sizzling beef it was full of flavour.
The rice was ok. Will come again to try some more from the menu.
The best Vietnamese within the postcode of 3042! As a coeliac they are always accomodating and i always have a delicious meal. They can adapt most items on the menu gluten free including the salt and pepper squid. Fantastic!
I have been going to chichi for a few years now, the menu has many options to choose from, the food is tasty and very affordable, the only complaint is that the portions are a bit small.

Always amazing food and friendly service from all staff, can't praise it highly enough! Best silken tofu I've ever had :D
Beautiful and great service. I love the menu at Chi Chi and the staff are so friendly. They have a great memory re people's orders even down to bizarre changes. One of my favourite Vietnamese restaurant.
Love chi chi's food& the staff
Great lunch options. Work nearby, regular customer for $8 lunch specials, boiled rice and any combination of meat and sauce you want. Very tasty
We have been going to ChiChi's for years and sometimes on a weekly basis! So much so that no matter where we've been and had Vietnamese food, we've always compared them to ChiChi's and they just can't! It's by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Melb!
This is my favourite restaurant on Keilor Road! Love the food and friendly service. The food doesn't take that long to come out of the kitchen
Food was nice. Very fresh, good size . Price very good. Happy to go back
Family Favourite. We eat here regularly - we love vietnamese food and we ChiChi is the only half decent Vietnamese restaurant around. The deep fried flounder and the salt and pepper squid are high on our list - along with the rice paper rolls, and mandatory spring rolls. Really enjoyed the duck vietnamese coleslaw last time.
Wonderful. Love this place! Have been a few times, and of course I went most recently with my partner in crime and dine. Had the sizzling satay beef, combination fried rice and prawns with bean curd and garlic. Beef was very tender and satay sauce was creamy and fragrant. Rice was a little on the dry side but very flavoursome; and the prawns were succulent and fleshy. Bean curd was cooked to perfection and my partner (who doesn't even like bean curd/ tofu) tried some and couldn't get enough!
Great value, excellent service and you will be extremely spoilt for choice; so many menu options/ banquets to choose from!
Great value and service, generous servings with banquet, child friendly. Will be back!
Haven't been in years and have lived in the area for years. Recent trip to Vietnam has brought us back to this little gem. Recommend the rice paper spring rolls, beef soup and bun cha. Service us quick but you won't get it with a lot of smiles
Good Pho. A pretty decent Vietnamese restaurant in Niddrie. Today I had the beef pho which was rather good. Would have liked more lemon wedges to squeeze into the soup but overall tasty and fresh. For $8.50 it's a bargain.
They also do $8 - $9 lunch deals - pretty much any meat/veg combination you want plus rice. Not too greasy, no MSG detected.
It's not the best Vietnamese place I have tried but if you want something quick fresh and cheap this is a good option on the Niddrie shopping strip.
