Very nice curry and well priced. Lovely coconut rice. Friendly staff.
Great food and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this
My Daughter and i had High Tea. It was really very nice. The scones were the best I have ever had.
Our favourite restaurant.
Great service amazing food
Staff are fantastic
Just yum, the atmosphere, decor, food and service was the best. I went with my girlfriend for her birthday dinner now it's my birthday so we plan to go again for lunch soon. I actually dreamt about the food after eating, we ate it so slow as it was amazing and wanted it to last x Simply delicious Thai food x
Such a cute little spot that offers Thai food.
There is quite a good range on the menu and the food was good. We had the green curry, pad kha prao and stir fried beef and it was amazing
Really enjoyed the food and the decor was really cute and cosy. Amazing spot on Keilor Road
The food from Chalita’s Kitchen is always tasty Thai. Good portion sizes. Recommend the prawn spring rolls to start. The mains are not too creamy or sweet! A great local option.
Went there for dinner and we really enjoyed everything. Restaurant has a nice vibe, attentive staff, dishes arrived on time and hot as I like.
Food was very tasty and with a very good quality ingredients and portion size. I would love to come back again.
The Swine may be a huge pig of a man with big opinions and an even bigger tummy.. But the Swine knows a great thing when he finds it. Chalita's Kitchen is a terrific establishment that provides sensational Thai food options. This was the Swine's first time at the kitchen. The food was top standard, staff were very friendly and the premises had a terrific charm. The Swine also loved the atmosphere with both customers and staff singing to the background muzak. Onto the food! The Thai flavors were strong and authentic - the Swine devoured a beef massomon curry which did not scrimp on the beef. Quality meat which literally did melt in the mouth. Oh yes! The Swine did fill his belly and left Chalitas very well satisfied. Chalita - the Swine loves you and your kitchen - don't change. Swine approved. Scrumptious!!!
Incredible Thai food! Can't get enough of the food at Chalita's. The service is always really friendly. Lovely decor and relaxing atmosphere. Also good delivery service.
Was greeted by a cheerful waitress and welcomed into a pleasant atmosphere with calming acoustic music playing the background.
Ordered the panang curry w/ chicken, coconut rice and stir fry garlic and pepper w/pork. Could not put our forks down. The meals and service were amazing!
Not only the dishes but the restaraunt seems to give a feeling that is 'made with love'.
Absolutely loved the experience and will definitely be back!
A not so regular takeaway restaurant we order from through menulog but does the job for when we require a quick no other option Thai fix. A usual order of cocunut rice, pad thai, red duck curry and every now and again some chicken satay skewers. Not bad for just a little under $50.0 and they're pretty quick.
We haven't actually been to the restaurant on Keilor Rd in Niddrie but do drive past it quite often. Parking is a plenty on either side of Keilor Rd or you could find parking in the back of Safeway. Till next time, this is Our Foodie Find!
Went for a team lunch, food is tasty good, place is nice, service is prompt. Overall good experience, will go back. All my team members agreed that food is good and should plan again some time.
I hate that zomato makes you download the app to write a review BUT I did it, just to write this review.
Went yesterday for a thai lunch after purchasing a Groupon that they were happy to allow use for straight away. On the phone I asked heaps of questions (vego) and they made the effort of explaining what was veg and my groupon etc. They were the same in the restaurant. Explained things, attentive and friendly. I have never seen someone power walk to the entrance to open it for a customer that's leaving and I think that says a lot about the service level.
Ok decor. Aazing. Very pretty and gorgeous inside with Thai influences. Nice long bench along the wall, wallpaper, painted tables. Honestly we knew we were going to have a good meal when we saw the effort put into the place. This effort extended to the plating up of fod. Visually very nice.
Food. Honest to god, the best curry puffs I've ever had , beautiful pastry, not oily and curry wasn't just filled with mushed potato and curry powder. Small delicate parcels of perfection!
The prawn wontons with satay sauce were super tasty and juicy and the satay itself was great with it.
Green curry was good and a great size serve but could've had a bit more heat for a requested medium (but that's a tricky one) and maybe the addition of lime leaves.
The absolute standout tho, was a garlic and pepper sauce. With Chinese style influences, this was hands down one of the most beautiful asian types dishes that I have Ever Eaten. Amazing and again, great serve.
Overall, very reasonably priced for the interior surrounds, quality and size of food and service. They deliver (but not to me) and i cant wait to go back again. If you want lovely service, gorgeous surrounds and crazily yummy food... Go to Chalitas Kitchen.
I was working in the area for the week and found myself at Chalita almost everyday for lunch, which give me the chance to sample several options from the menu :) Prices are great for the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ambiance is really inviting. The pad thai and green curry were one of the best I've had! We also tried the high tea. Not the flashiest high tea you'll have but it was really decent for the cost. The finger sandwiches were delicious! Service was prompt, friendly and food came out relatively quickly. One of the best restaurants on Keilor Rd and I do highly recommend you try it :3
Beautifully decorated place had high tea with a thai twist to it. Service was friendly and attentive. Very good price for high tea and plenty of food. Absolutely recommend this place will go again.👍
Nice venue, great decor. Food was nice, served hot and quickly. Nothing wow about it, but tasty and good value. Would pre book to ensure a table as it gets busy.
Called into Chalita's for a relaxing Tuesday night dinner. Fast & friendly service. Our entree of Prawn Spring Rolls were wonderful. Our main of pork belly stir fry and a serve of coconut rice was just what we needed, tasty and filling on a chilly Melbourne night. Great value for money. Looking forward to our next visit to try other items on the menu.
A georgous thai high tea! Traditional favorites with yummy thai curry puffs & a delectable coconut crepe cake - you must try it 😘. The scones were amazing. A choice of sparkling pinot or rose - we had the sweeter rose; pretty pink & deliciously refreshing. Many choices of tea, we chose the twinnings spiced chai with milk. Was all so pretty & staff were lovely, can't wait to go back & try dinner.

Came in for quick lunch and the whole place was quite and a bit chilly actually.
We had vegetarian Pad Thai and Pad See Eew. Both are really nice and tasty, service was good.
We will go back again for their curry and Tomyum.
We walked pass this restaurant and decided to try this Thai restaurant because the interior looks so cute and girly. Yes, the shabby chic decor with the flower pattern cushions etc. But it was the food that make us come back for more. Portions are generous. Love their coconut rice, stir fried crispy pork and the curry!
Tried this place on a Tuesday night and it was packed! Amazing food! Would really recommend. I normally hate keilor road; but this place really impressed me.
A pretty little café In liked the thai iced tea most. We also had beef noodle salad and prawn noodle salad. Well priced, good service Eftpos was not available when I paid.
A cute and clean Thai restaurant along busy Keilor Road. Lots of comfy seating available. Most dishes have great flavour, but the drinks and desserts are a bit too sweet. Thai Milk Iced Tea $3. Tasted just like the milk teas served at Bubble Cup, but a bit too sweet for me. 6/10. Green Milk Iced Tea $3
Solid offering amonst the hussle and bussle of keilor rd. Excellent decor and ample space this restaurant is a good addition to the choices avaliable. Worth a lunch visit if youre in need of Thai food!
Service was excellent. Atmosphere was lovely and very clean. Food and extremely tasty. Just a tinny but to loud for a romantic dinner for 2 however we will be back for sure!!!
Want to say went around non-peak dinner time on a wednesday. Very lavish and neat set up giving out a vibrant vibe.
Was served very quickly and didn't wait too long to receive my entrée and main. Satay skewers tasted as they should with right amount of peanut sauce. Curry puffs were just the right amount of crisp and were tasty.
Let me just say this place does fused thai dishes so ordered a infused green curry fried rice main and was blown away by the taste and my initial expectation. Definitely recommend and will be returning.
We had a 1st Birthday/Baptism celebration with 25 people and we were extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism that Chilata's Kitchen provided. The food was extremely tasty and well presented. All our guests were happy with our choice of venue and I would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to others. Thankyou Chalita's Kitchen for making today so easy for us!!!

My second visit to Chalita's and still all good here in terms of food. My only criticism would be that the service could have been more attentive. A diner should NEVER have to rise from their chair in search of service. Overall however, Chalita's still comes recommended:)

Chalita's is certainly a welcome addition to the Keilor Road dining precinct. Chalita's has only been open 3 short months and already has quite a local following. Chalita's comes recommended and offers a BYO wine option which just adds to the appeal. Expect to pay around $20ph + drinks
Wow what a find this new Thai place on Keilor Rd is, our favourite so far. It is a family run operation so very keen to make sure you are happy, and we were food and service fabulous. We started with chicken spring rolls, vegetable curry puffs, fish cakes and chicken satay, it was all delicious and love the way it was presented on long platters with little shot glasses for the sauces. Mains were seafood pad thai, penang chicken curry, garlic paper beef and fried rice. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food, just beware the curry had a layer of chilli oil sitting on top which made it a bit spicy for the boys but hubby scooped it all off and ate it and then it was fine. The food is more reasonably priced than some others on Keilor Rd and as we loved it will definitely be back.
Beautiful food, lovely friendly sevice.
What a lovely decor. The staff are all friendly and just really thai. Happy to serve and very willing to go the extra mile in service and food.
Pad moo krob, larb gai, pad thai, pad see ewe, crispy chicken wings, vegetarian spring rolls, steamed rice and the bestest sticky rice...try finding a Thai restaurant that serves this
Absolutely loved our food and the staff. Reminiscent of their heritage...Chiang Mai (northern Thailand).
The best prices out. $64 for all this. Amazing value and we will all be back.

Very tasty meal, friendly service, though a little disorganised. Love the fit out. We had beautiful wine, couldn't fault the food, and really pleased to have this quality of Thai within walking distance. Really enjoyable.

Food was yum! But maybe a tad expensive. Pad see ewe was tasty and they don't make you feel bad for making things not spicy. Nice service. Surprise mussels in seafood green curry, (meant to be just prawns and Calamari) not a big deal just a not they were not eaten so it was a bit of a waste. Thanks for a delicious meal :)
We had the Pad thai, spring rolls and a spicy seafood soup. Light flavour with perfect hot spice. Fast and nice service at lunch. Great pricing
I love their weekday lunch deals, value for money, good place to taste Asian food, nice ambience and quick service, friendly staff...big menu..kids enjoy too..busy some time s especially in weekend's..
Finally, the traditional Pad Thai appeared, especially in the Essendon Field. Good place to have Thai food!
So yum, great service, friendly staff, beautiful quaint restaurant. Great tom yum soup.
Really nice flavours although both the chicken pad thai and red beef curry looked like they were the vegitarian option
Also when the menu log driver turned up the food was completely cold and I only live 1.5km away
