My wife & I got take away from here, two pastas. The wait was definitely worth it. The best pasta we’ve had in a very long time. Will come again here for sure.
Had lunch here a few times in the past month or so
Pizza is great, love the atmosphere, waiters are also very attentive
Definitely go for the chicken, I settled on this one after going down the menu
We have been enjoying eating at this venue at least once every two weeks on a Sunday evening and have always enjoyed the food and service provided and would recommend the venue to anybody wanting a night out with a good selection of choices from the menu at affordable prices.
There's a reason why I've been a custom for over 8 years or so, great service, friendly staff and great quality food. Friday night is our regular visit and it's great when the staff know your name and your order/s and always look after you like part of the family. Highly recommend a visit to eat and enjoy the great service.
Our Dinner at La Porchetta was great! Food was cooked well, service was pleasant as always, our waitress for the night (Ella?) was delightful, and the food was reasonably priced! Would recommend for a casual lunch/dinner.
I came in last night and was so impressed with the experience I had! They were incredibly busy but were still so on point with the service I couldn't believe it. We had a pescatore pasta and salmon salad it was so nice, my husbands pasta came out a little bit later than the salmon but the waitress that looked after us kept us updated with what was going on and afterwards offered us coffee for the little delay. Watching the way the restaurant was run and how attentive the waitress' were was so refreshing!
Located in the back end of the busy Keilor road food strip, there's plenty of other options to go before hitting this place. What can I say, it's La Porchetta? It the average type of place you go when you really can't find anywhere else because they're booked out or you just want something to eat regardless of its lack of flavour and seasoning. Not to discount this place as it does have great service, staff are friendly and attentive, food was relatively quick to come out despite the hoard or patrons and the price is as expected, average. Taste of the food however just lacks "love" and just tastes like you pulled it out of a box and placed it in the oven. Average. Till next time, this is Our Foodie Find!
Dined here last night with my husband and daughter, had a really great experience! The service was outstanding considering the restaurant was quite full, the food came out quickly and was very enjoyable. Our waitress also looked like the manager on duty at the time, she was able to recommend meals off the specials menu and took care of us the whole night. Finally we were served by a person who actually cares about their job!
Thank you!
Love this place! They are the best La Porchetta ever! Even takeaway or dine in. They are always good in term of food and service.
"Sam" our favorite waitress there. She is the best!!
For a Wednesday night the fact I had to wait for a table for a couple of minutes is a fairly good start. The waitress Samantha that we got was an absolute gem, very attentive and extremely helpful. Our drinks arrived within a couple of minutes of ordering and our pizzas not long after which were not too bad considering the junior pizza maker was on. All in all it was a fabulous night quick and cheap.
The Pizza -Margherita Was the Tastiest I Have Experienced in This Location. The service, ambience and quality of the food was second to none Tony can cook the best Italian food and his staff are courteous and prompt in their delivery of your order no time wasters here recommend to one and all
Great food and wonderful staff. One time it was completely full and I had to wait a few minutes to get a seat, which is a good sign!
Ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and it was really nice. The sauce was great and the salad was chopped up evenly. The croutons were good themselves, as they were still really warm in the salad. The chef prepared it really well.
Pizzas were good. 2% credit card surcharge is a rip off.
I can not rave on enough about la porchetta niddrie. I had my daughters 1st b'day there on Sunday and i was totally blown away from the professionalism from Francesca & her staff. She couldn't do enough for us to accommodate for what we wanted. Nothing was a problem & she went well above her requirements. She even put up our decorations which looked fabulous. I highly recommend this venue for any function. The food was fantastic too. I will be back for another function very soon. Anyone looking for a venue for a function go & see Francesca. You will not be disappointed...
Love The Place. My parnter and i go here about once a month on average!
It is our favourite restaurant in mandurah!
The staff are very friendly and well equipped the waitress's and waiters are always on the ball with specials and are well informed on each dish they serve.
The food has always been great they even offer you free very yummy hot buns with butter to eat while you choose what you want (unless they are very busy and run out) which i remember most restaurants used too but these days so its quite refreshing too see.
Great variety on the menu and great wine list!
I highly reccomend this restaurant to anyone :)
Pizza was beatiful. This is not fine dining but well suited to family and group dining. Mexican pizza had a nice amount of heat, and the cold sour cream I ordered with it worked a treat. The kids all had varying pasta dishes (entree size) and were well satisfied. Service was lacking a little, but as I said it's not fine dining, and hand gesture will normally get their attention. 1 small and 2 medium pizzas, 3 entree pastas, cokes all round a beer and a wine $85. Thumbs up for a quick meal with the kids.
For the price, it's alright. This place may not live up to fine dining, obviously. But considering the good prices for Italian food I would consider this one of the better restaurants in the area, may not be authentic but food is food. The venue itself is also very nice, sadly prices seem to have increased recently.
You know what, it's always easy to bag La P, but I like it, for the money it's not a bad night out and the staff are consistently good :)
Everything you would expect from this franchise. Get in early though over here.
High school fav. Have been going to this establishment forever. first was back in high school with friends and we still often go. ]
service is alright. the food is yum. inexpensive wll always go back
A classic Italian restaurant with spacious seating. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the veal saltimbocca and the veal was so tender and juicy. I would love to come back to try their other dishes for sure. Also wanted to just call out that their bread is impressively crusty and soft - something I don’t commonly share.
We always love our dining experiences at Becco. The Italian food is delicious, the wine list expansive and Simon and his staff always fabulous. Thank you for looking after us so well, once again.
Delicious food and very efficient service.
We had the roast chicken, potatoes, spinach and steak, all of which were superbly cooked.
Generous portions so we were very satisfied. Excellent choice of wines.
This is an expensive restaurant so be mindful of that. We will return, occasionally.
Great food, well done, good service, not cheap. ☺, 2 sessions on Saturday night. If more than about 7 in a group, no a la carte option, must take $90 per person menu, with choice of 4 dishes each for entrée, mains, and dessert . $90 option requires $30 non refundable deposit per person.
Went for birthday dinner, party if three. Our waitress was a lovely French lass Natuche?? on her last day at the restaurant and couldn't have been more attentive without being intrusive and provided a lovely dining experience for us all. The drinks menu was promptly presented, orders depatched quickly and drinks arrived promptly whilst we perused the extensive food choices on offer from the colourful menu. Natuche happily answered questions about the menu choice before orders were taken. Bread was promptly delivered, drinks arrived soon after, water was topped up as we munched on the divine bread and oil.
Entrees consisted of Beetroot cured Salmon with Creme Fraiche, Oysters battered with Chili Aioli and Buffalo Mozzarella with Prosciutto.
Every one of those entrees were amazinly tasty, nicely presented and devoured lovingly.
Our mains consisted of the Roast Chicken, which was melt in your mouth and succulent, the Duck came with lovely crispy skin, nicely petite roasted and caramelised carrots with the most amazing Muscatel & Grappa Jus that I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Duck was so tender and served pink, how it should be to preserve the moisture and texture of the meat. All our meals were so delishious and filling, we were thankful that we didn't order "sides" preferring to Savior!
We were nearly going to forgo the deserts however we changed our mind as Tiramisu, Rhubarb & Strawberry Crumble (the special) along with and old favourite Chocolate Mouse was selected from the choices. The Rhubarb & Strawberry Crumble was lovely, a tiny bit overpowered with cinnamon but nonetheless scrumptious and delight to the senses as the aroma delighted the palatte on consuming. The Tiramisu was considered equal to the best that have been offered at some more expensive Melbourne restaurants and The Chocolate Mouse was rich and creamy.
Becco has gained quite a reputation which we felt was well deserved, The atmosphere was just relaxing, the staff attentive and friendly and the divine menu choices we had were was such a delightful experiece and we will certainly revisit again.
