Enjoyed a savoury crepe, whereas my wife are something sweet. We both enjoyed our crepes and that were delicious and the coffees were good too. Very affordable and pleasant to be outdoor dining out the front.

Ordered two crepes and a salad for pick up. The order took >30mins longer than expected and staff were very unhelpful. Opened it up at home and two eggs were raw inside! Plus the vegetables inside were raw too. The other crepe was cold. Absolutely appalled.

Great for a saturday morning breakfast. Some of the seats have cushions so its good for coffee and laptop day. An ordering barcode is on the table if you need it.

This is not the first time I’ve ordered from here and the food has been soggy, and half cooked. They charged an extra $2 for literally a dollap of cheap $2 whip cream from a can. To further add to the frustration I ordered a mochaccino and received a cup of milo. If I wanted that I would’ve walked to my kitchen and made it. I paid $7 for this coffee and had no coffee in it. Absolutely disgusting. I never write reviews but this is now the 3rd time they’ve left me upset

Crepes are delicious, have only tried the sweet crepes so far and they're great! Cravin Crepes Niddrie are also generous with their ingredients! Nutella hot chocolate and white hot chocolate were super yummy! The Nutella Mocha was also great, the coffee tasted good. Enjoyed my experience and would recommend! And also looking forward to try their savoury crepes in the future!

Well known for very slow and rude service but on our recent experience when I ordered Nutella and crushed walnut crepes I received about 300 grams of huge pieces of walnuts inside the crepes...when I asked the staff why the walnuts weren't crushed she shrugged her shoulders and simply said "oh sorry" and walked off. No offer to resolve the issue whatsoever...they also completely forgot my husband's order and when we questioned it we were frowned at as if we did something wrong. Given them way too many chances, this time we're never stepping foot in there again!

Nice crepes, shame about the service… Hardly any eye contact when ordering, no greeting or goodbye. I’m assuming one was on a break behind the counter whilst sitting, eating and being on her phone. Pretty unwelcoming and unprofessional, expected a little better especially when the bill was around $60.

It's one my favourite place for having crepe. So delicious and yum. My fav's are: Choc Berry and De Luxe and in Savoury, I like mediterranean crepe. This my go to place just next door. 😋😋

Went along in a group of four and was surprised that this crepe shop was still bustling after 10pm. It's looking a little tired and dated inside and it can really do with a little updating. Regardless, we decided and ordered our crepes at the counter. The attendant was a little less that interested and was more interested in people asking about the shisha area out back. With four or five staff working behind the counter, the crepes took an eternity to arrive (other patrons also having long waits with at least two other tables asking about their orders). The crepes arrived and they looked good, but they were cold and a little doughy on the bottom so they were not very good to eat. Our coffees also arrived late and were luke warm. So in the end, for around sixty odd dollars wasted I can confidently say that I'll not be back in a hurry.

Presentation is exquisite.. although the food came out cold, crepes were cold, eggs were cold, sujuk was cold. Mediocre at best. On the brighter side, the coffee was alright. 👎🏽

Food is ok but customer service is appalling. I have been going here with my friends for years and used to love it now I am met with rude customer service and uncaring attitudes do not feel welcome as a customer and do not want to go back.

Ordered the nutella hot chocolate and thick chai latte. Nutella hot chocolate was alright. Wish it had a bit more nutella. Chai latte was lovely. Service took a while

This place doesn’t even deserve the one star I gave it. My order was 3 crepes two ice creams and some water. I waited over 30mins for ice cream to come out (That’s already frozen) I had to remind her about the water after I got the ice cream & a man with a dog got a bowl of water before we did & he didn’t even ask for water. I went up asked after I got served the ice cream where the rest of my order was??? They didn’t even have a clue of what I was talking about. She continued to say it’s only going to be 5mins by this time I’ve waited 40mins for ice cream & water. The service here is an absolute joke. I would highly recommend that all of my 1900+ followers stay clear from this place. Absolutely terrible

Great variety of savoury and sweet crepes!<br/>Loved the Turkish chai! Was very thick but definitely different and satisfying.<br/>Staff were lovely and attentive, love the outdoor area, maybe they can offer shisha too? <br/>Crepes were crepes can’t complain, bring your lover, friends and family here if you’re just craving crepes. Do try their Turkish chai!

The crepe was burnt underneath. Great coverup with the condensed milk. The banana tasted as it should be 😀. <br/>Overall, I think I should get a big plate and cook my own crepe with condensed milk. Oh, I should also get Coles icecream on the side

Crepes weren't particularly great and didn't come out very fast. One person would finish their crepe before the next person got theirs and we had a large group. Just came on here to say that I had a hair in my food and obviously the main girl making the crepes had long hair and didn't even tie it all the way back, it was in front of her shoulders, ready for it to go into the next person's food. Not worth the money for poor waiting service and unsafe food hygiene practice.

Below average in all aspects. The young guy serving me stuffed up 2/4 coffee orders. Only after checking the prices of coffees did we realise and at this point it was too late to change apparently. Waited over 45 minutes for coffee. Wasn't offered dessert or anything to eat afterwards. Clearly understaffed and under motivated staff. Went elsewhere to eat afterwards. <br/>Roughly 15 other people in the cafe during the daytime we were here. Struggled to understand how some basic orders could take so long. <br/>Nothing impressed about this place. Not going back.

Worst experience! Poor customer service, coffees were sent out quickly, however I waited 40 mins for the shisha that I paid 25 dollars for and still didn't get it sent to the table. Consistently lied to by staff claiming it would be out 'in 5 mins'. No apology or compensation was offered. Horrible horrible horrible service would not recommend at all!

This place is always my go to place with my friends. Crepes are delicious (probably not $14 delicious) but oh well it's the only good crepe place in the area. Staff are friendly and the place has a great feel about it... Apart for the back area where I always find noisy try-hard 16 year olds that take most of the tables even though I never see them buy anything from Cravin Crepes and always BYO KFC and kebabs. Staff need to tell them to move on

Ordered a crepe at about 9pm and took 40 mins to come out!! The staff weren't welcoming or friendly, and after our ridiculous wait for a simple food, it was under cooked. Definitely wouldn't ever come back

Really enjoyed the set up of this place. Great to go with friends for a casual dinner or lunch. Had the bitter-sweet and my friend had the nutella and banana crepe. Both were quite good and devoured in a matter of minutes. Only bad thing about this place is that fact that it is quite over-priced. Would normally not pay this much for crepes that anyone can really make.

Really disappointing service, have been to this place a few times for birthdays, specials occasions or just when we spoil the girls. Today after date night we came her for late night crepe, special treat. We had our daughter with us, so we asked for a high chair and they took over ten minutes to give it. After that, we asked for hot water to warm her bottle up, the guy didn't understand what I was saying, gave me a a mug full to the top with hot water... I had to go outside the cafe to empty water from the mug and put the bottle in, on my return into the cafe, they're is a slight step up which I missed as I was holding the hot mug and bottle and the hot water went all over my hands and burnt my fingers. I quickly went and asked for an ice pack, I was kept waiting five minutes by three staff and then finally they gave me an ice pack which wore off as it was not a proper ice pack to start off, so I asked for another has my fingers were still burning and they gave me another. As we left the cafe, I asked the waitress if I could take the ice pack as my hand was still red and I was preventing it from permanent damage and the cafe owner MEL said no. In fact MEL never even came and asked if I was ok.<br/>I walked out in disgusted and I would never come here again. <br/>Not child friendly and don't give a shit if someone burns themselves. <br/>Only care about making a buck!

Came at 10:30pm for crepes.<br/>Crepes were delicious I had the choc berry and added bananas. They were generous with the Nutella and the batter was perfect.<br/>Would definetly be back!<br/>Drinks came out fast even though there was a rush of people that came in before us.<br/>Crepes took a little awhile to come out, expected as it was busy. Well worth the wait.

Great crepes (my favourite is Nutella with snickers) and very friendly staff! They are very generous with their fillings as well. Best to go at off-peak times.

On old hang back when we used to ride our motorcycle every other day and watch the MotoGP as the owner was a rider too. A great meet up point in Niddrie off Keilor Road to have a sweet treat with a coffee or two.<br/><br/>Not really sure what's happened to this place since then however it's definitely gone down hill in both hospitality and quality of food and service. Must have new management. Till next time, this is Our Foodie Find!

The crepes and other desserts are tasty, but I wouldn't really recommend any of the hot drinks or milkshakes. It all depends on who's working on the night as some of my experiences here have been highlighted by moments of inconsistency. The outside section is ok too

Business meeting and had a coffee, service was good and the coffee hit the spot. The crepe menu looked nice, standard cafe decor. No wow factor.

Honestly great crepes but service and time taken to serve is so poor.<br/>Only one person ever making the crepes, even when it's a complete full house. The last time we went I remember waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes.<br/>I've been to very busy restaurants around Melbourne but never needed to wait that long

Good prices and nice staff. The coffee is hit and miss and on the bitter side. The sweet crepes are very nice but sickly sweet. Hard to eat one on your own. The savoury crepes are let down by the bland crepe batter.

Crepes are generally something you'll eat on your way home from the restaurant.. Quick and easy, so this was a unique experience for me..<br/>Unfortunately we waited half an hour for our crepes when the dining room was half empty.. <br/>The crepes were outstanding! but too bad the ice cream they gave us wasn't enough to feed a child.. <br/>These very simple errors proved too costly.<br/>I'd love to see some changes here, has some real potential.. But for now, I won't be back anytime soon.

Getting outraged by the less then 5/5 reviews , this place is my new church , they also sell frozen bananas........did you hear me ????!! Game changer frozen bananas .....also gluten free crepes taste amazing and I'm now obsessed.

Been here 3 times now. Nutella crepes are nice but too sweet for my liking.  Was happy with the strawberry and vanilla choc crepes.  Coffee was a little bitter.  The décor is welcoming and we really like the outside section. OK place for a quick sweet pick me up close to home.

Coffee😫 ok so I stopped here on the way home, just wanting to grab a real coffee.... Biggest disappointment ever.... Got home threw it out and made a Nescafé .... Yep that tasted 100 times better, description if I knew what the dreg draw tasted like, I would think it was their coffee.... Very watery, bitter, milk not frothed correctly ... Not good at all!! 😖<br/>On another note I have had crepes here before and they were lovely ☺️ the rating is 4 for crepes, less 4 for coffee... But somehow came up with 2.5, maybe it was the art hung on the wall. Or the smiling staff..... Guys invest in a barrister

So decadent, you could almost be satisfied with these crepes as a main meal. The place offers a wide and diverse variety of toppings and fillings to accomodate to most tastes. Venue also features a cozy outdoor setting which is perfect for summer.

I remember I came here three and half years ago when they first started, crepes was yum. Unfortunately come back again last week with my girlfriends, we have to wait so long for the service, drinks and crepe. And crepes that we order wasn't nice like old time anymore. .

Being one of only a handful of places to go to for dessert on Keilor Road, it sure does its job! There's a wide selection of sweet crepes with my personal favourite being the Dream (white chocolate and strawberries). The crepes are very filling and are big enough to share with another. Service was not as bad as others have experienced - food came out quickly and the staff were pleasant.

Nice staff, didn't have to wait that long. The crepe was not bad but not amazing. You can't really go wrong with Nutella anyway. A bit expensive for a crepe though.

Pleasantly Surprised. After reading some of the below reviews! I was expecting the worst! But what i got was great! Good service, quick food and a delicious apple crumble crepe! Highly recommend!

Overall: average. Was looking for a breakfast place in the area - and this was one of the few choices. We had the Sausage & Egg, the Mexican Galette and coffees.Mexican Gallette: The savoury crepe was OK - nothing special, the filling was kind of that 'indiscernible casserole sludge' with cheese so you got no stand out flavours, no spiciness (even chilli) at all. Crepe was too think in places.<br/>Sausage & Egg: had the egg scrambled, which they ruined by scrambling the spinach and the sausage in with the egg, creating this extremely fatty sludge mess. Sausage should have been pan fried separate to be honest. But it had some decent flavour in it.<br/>Coffee: OK again, but pretty much what you would expect at a drive-thru McDonalds really. Had 3 coffees in total, one was decent with a bit of a strong kick, another was quite weak and the third was over-heated and bitter flavoured. So their coffee making skills are pretty sub-standard and it can be a bit of a lucky draw as to what you get.

Had coffee & crepes here after dinner along Keilor Rd. Staff were attentive, coffee was good. Crepes were so filling - should have shared one. Lots of options, also some on the specials board. Very sweet but really yummy!

Worst service and terrible food. Today my girlfriend and i went to craving crepes for some brunch and i ordered a florentine and my friend ordered suzuk crepe. Not only was the food not cooked and looked like it had been thrown to a wall and served on a plate i dismissed it thinking perhaps it was the way they tried to be different i then ordered a nutella crepe to be safe knowing what i was getting, it never came!!! The service was pathetic and no way will i be ever going back! The waiters looked like they didnt want to be there and i hope their wishes come true and you close this place down! Very VERY disappointed!!!

Service is average. Crepes are always as you expect. Snickers crepes, absolutely amazing. Recommended to those who don't expect 5 star service but are happy to be made up for it with great crepes.

Love the food, love the service and love the coffee! It's a light hearted fun environment and you will ALWAYS get greeted with a smile! We are all human at the end of the day and if people that work in a cafe make a mistake, guys, just politely tell them your problem! Most of the time it's easily fixed - dessert and coffee is not rocket science :)<br/>I love this place and love the history behind it. Just a family business that's focussed on what they love doing and they enjoy seeing smiles on customers faces. I've been a regular here for a few years now and after reading all the negative reviews I can't believe most of what my eyes are seeing! Do yourselves a favour and try it out for yourself because you won't find a more customer friendly cafe on Keilor Road!

Rude, arrogant and average. O.k to start with the staff were very rude when ordering they acted as if you were doing them a favour being there, it seems they are more interested in hanging out with their friends that go there to visit then serve customers, either get better staff or management that know how to lead and organise. The crepes were very average, they were cold and doughy, we ordered 2 meals and waited for 1 hour to get a crepe and they arrived 20 minutes apart. I would never go back to this place, the only good thing about cravin crepes niddrie is that it is in a good location , which is great because you can walk out of this sad excuse of a crepe place and walk down keilor road and find a good place to eat.

If you want disinterested and rude staff and crepes that are heavy, doughey and cold arriving after a 25 minute wait then come here. The ice cream was also very bland, probably need to buy a different tub from woollies. I know that hospitality is tough but this place was pathetic. No apology for the 25 minute wait and a cold miserable crepe for $14, what a joke!

Not happy. Considering the decieving look on the website, I tried the crepes the other night they were average taste the same at any restaurant.<br/>Coffee was watery and the spoons were unpolished and dirty.

Overpriced food and terrible service! How do they stay open??!!. My mum and I paid over $40 for a piece of white toast with scrambled egg (no other ingredients included) and a simple crepe with a few vegies! Oh and a pot of tea and a soft drink! The staff couldn't even get our order correct! The worst service and such a waste of money! The first and the last time we eat here!

Don't bother wasting your time going to this place. We had a table of 6, all ordered at the same time. 2 of us got forgotten about and when we asked we got a "we forgot we are busy with other orders" 45 minutes later I was still waiting whilst the rest of my table had finished. Had to remind them 3 times. Got no apology, the staff were disinterested. I cannot believe how disgraceful this experience was. Back to Lygon Street for decent crepes I think.

Highly recommend this lovely local popular cafe which has Gluten free options. The staff were knowledgable which helps with dietary requirements.

Worst service don't know what the hype is all about. Waited for 25 min for 3 crepes and even then they came out seperately.also a 2 per cent surcharge applies, staff could not be less helpful give it a wide birth !

Don't know what the hype is about the volume of music in this cafe I'm in my 40's and I personally found the volume level comfortable where we could easily converse with 5 other members of my group on a busy Saturday evening. The customer service of the young gentleman serving our table was quite impressive considering his age, clearly very well trained. The quality of crepes are amazing well worth the wait of approximately 15 minutes. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work.

Loud and Rude. We walked into Cravin Crepes as it was late on a Sunday and there was not a lot of options.<br/><br/>We found it very loud - the music was blasting. The staff were focused on dancing rather than cleaning and the shop needed a clean. <br/><br/>There was four of us there and we find it hard to hear eachother over the music. I asked the staff if they could turn the music down (as it appeared to have been increased even more when one of the staff favourite song played) and the staff member told me, "People come here for the music". I was just shocked. Do they think they are running a nightclub or cafe. Music should create some atmosphere and play in the background not dominate the place.<br/><br/>I won't be going back.

I came with my partner to enjoy some warm crepes. He ordered first and then I went up to order. At the time someone came in asking to take photos with the staff. The girls were more interested in taking a photo and wondering if it will be posted on Facebook. The girl took my payment with all the distractions. Once done she rushed away to take the photo. My partner received his crepe and we were asked if we were sharing and that got me thinking that mine wasn't coming. I was right. I waited 10 minutes after until I asked if I was still waiting for mine to be made. The girl that took my payment looked at her receipts and turned away and started making it. The women tried to apologise but she was too busy caring about what was happening in her social life on her phone. <br/>Very very poor. New staff would be recommended with some smiles and some manners.

Tonight I went to Cravin Crepes to grab a take away Crepe. I asked for a crepe with NUTELLA NOT CHOCOLATE,and I repeated myself twice to make sure the guy understood me. And he actually said 'yes nutella'. Guess what? No nutella in my crepe but chocolate instead. There's a huge difference between nutella and chocolate and they priced the same. Also the crepe was waterly and had no taste at all. Don't even be bothered to waste your money. Absolutely Shocking

This cafe is disgusting, your staff are all rude and un welcoming. there Is not one nice word coming from there mouths. Besides from that the food was cold by the time it came out and the coffees were horrible. I recommend to pull up your employees before your cafe comes crashing down . Sincerely un happy customer. Not the first either

I am a proud customer and regular to the cafe I know all the staff and have met many new people. Me and few of my mates come nearly everyday for a coffee even to say hello to the staff because the environment is just beautiful the crapes and coffees are the sweet and hot couldn't find a better place to spend the day. These comments are very disappointing because they let a glass of water bring the whole place down if u want water u have a house and a tap go there or else just be patient an u will receive ur order cravin and a beautiful cafe don't abuse it just injoy :)

People that generalize on this lovely cafes really need to spend there time on something thats more valuable just because the cafe you were at couldnt please you does not make that cafe a bad place to be maybe the problem is you not the cafe when it comes to cravin crepes i have been there many of times and always walked away 100% happy even if there was hick ups along the way but theres no such thing as a perfect place no perfect person so have patience learn to communicate and think twice about your comments. :)

I think it is disgusting that I was denied a glass of water unless I bought a crepe. I am a father of 3 children and took them for a hot chocolate. I will never come back to this place and have told all my friends not to come.

Decor was average. Crepes were average, lacking for such a price. Customer service was more than below average. Employees showed no initiative when serving, and were far from being decent mannered. Would not consider going back here ever for a late night coffee, would rather a maccas run.

If you have sweet tooth this is the place to go. Crepes are made fresh to order ! Love the vibe.

What a joke of a place? Your staff are rude, have no respect nor even a basic understanding of customer service. I feel like I'm in a club, what's with the loud music fueling the obnoxious little kids? This place is a joke and the owner must be just as much as a joke. Absolutely DISGUSTING customer service. The girl who served us was so rude and didn't look like she wanted to be there. The crowd were obnoxious, loud and inconsiderate. The music playing while we were trying to have a nice conversation was way too loud and something you would hear in a nightclub. Crepes were average at best. Won't bother coming here again!

Bad customer service. Slow service. We ordered the 'Nut Case', which is meant to be Nutella and almonds. They didn't even use real Nutella, instead they used a disgusting dark chocolate syrup. <br/><br/>Absolutely disappointing. Would not come again.

Disappointing,bad service,not real Nutella. I have been to cravin crepes 5 times already and it is getting worse&worse every time.the service is bad,they don't bring water until we are about to leave& dehydrated, they bring the wrong order time& time again.the crepes were not worth $14, they say Nutella and it tastes like chocolate syrup watered down!! definitely would not recommend them, I can make better ones at home. The iced coffee was milky and needed another 2 extra shots of coffee. I am surprised it even gets busy. You can try it but don't say we didn't warn you, the reviews speak for themselves.

I'm actually sitting here outside Craving Crepes while writing this review. After coming here numerous times over the past couple of months I was absolutely appalled by the lack of 'care' and 'customer service' I received this morning, to the point of not finishing my meal and now walking off. Staff too busy chatting about their social lives to even stop and offer a menu or drinks or even to take an order.Then to top it off, crepes came to the table cold and burnt....and when I mean burnt I mean charcoal crispy! (the chocolate wouldn't even melt in it!) coffee came out luke warm when we were half way through our meals, and my hot chocolate that came out cold as well was spilt on the table and the saucer and the waitress didnt even offer to clean it up WTF??? <br/>If you want quality customer service, avoid going here. The cafe two doors up had heaps of people there....that's where we heading now.

Our experience at craving crepes was very dissapointing. we waited 40 mins for two crepes half and hour for cold coffee. the staff were more worried about serving thier friends that had entered the establishment. staff had a very lazy attitude and only gave a full service too a selected few.. i can tell u now im not cravong crepes

Not impressed. We went to the Edgewater Craving crepes. Service was nice and friendly, however the crepes were sub-par . Savoury crepes were extremely salty and I am not against salt, the "cheese" is kraft cheese in a jar in both cases even though one said cream cheese and one said cheddar?? Yuk.<br/>Better coffee can be obtained at McDonalds! Not good at all.<br/>The only exception was a sweet crepe from specials board, caramel fudge, almond and strawberry. Very nice.<br/>Overall, we spent over $60 on crepes and $25- $30 on hot drinks/soft drink and we were left dissapointed and hungry, with 2 of the diners being young kids, so definitely not good value either.

Very poor service. Very poor customer service. Also if you're ordering a crepe or coffee expect to wait hours. My friend and I had to wait an hour and a half for a coffee. We asked 3 times where our coffee was and the waitress gave us a dirty look and walked off. My friend then get got up and asked someone else and the other waitress said in a very rude tone "yeah it's coming".<br/>I was pretty shocked and appealed! Waited almost half an hour for my crepe when my friend got hers within 5 minutes of ordering. Our coffees didn't come out with either order. We received our coffees 10 minutes after recieving the second crepe to our table. Coffee was disgusting! The waitress reassured as that they were flavoured when they honestly weren't... Crepes are very overpriced - had better elsewhere and paid half the price.

Hmmmm. Seems to be the place to be for the local motorbike riding testosterone filled muscle heads. Average coffee and waitress was too preoccupied flirting with another customer to serve the other paying patrons.

Expensive slop. Cafeteria style decor and very poor service for quite a high price. Creeps tasted like cardboard, they were cold, but still had more taste than the bland so-called spicy Mexican filling.

50min wait for overpriced scrambled eggs on toast and we were their only customers. Such a shame, McDonald's is only a short drive away and would have been a better option. Really unhappy!

Not worth it.. Way too overpriced. Try Harajuku in Melbourne Central instead, the Japanese equivalent to these "French" crepes - really great and value for money, then come back here to compare to Cravin Crepes sub-par quality, price and service.

Loved the crepes and the friendly service was awesome. My new late night hangout.

Hit the spot! Had the nutella + strawberry crepe & a chocolate milkshake. Both were yummy & didn't take long at all to be served to our table. Friendly staff, good food & reasonably priced. Will definately be back! :)

I'm not surprised with the sub par approval rating here. The crepe i had here was the worst I've had anywhere, even the coffee was rubbish-avoid at all costs
