Review Street Pho - Noble Park

Julie Tieu
Great little spot for authentic Vietnamese food, the staff are really friendly, food was very tasty and well priced. We ordered pipis with Chinese donuts, XO oysters, salted fish fried rice and quail. Their service was quick and attentive. I’d like to come back to try their hotpot which I hear is a must try from other patrons.

Banh Xeo batter is paper-thin crispy and I love how the middle part has a slight nice chew! As you can see, banh xeo typically has prawn and pork however this place serves up banh xeo with pork, juicy king prawns and squid, along with onions and beanspouts. Service is always friendly and accommodating !

I loved the food there, very nice employees and service was fast in my opinion. I'll definitely be back again to try more of the dishes and get more coffee.

Cane here for takeaway but this place makes amazing lobster noodles. The sauce is so rich and flavoured and compliments the lobster. The chicken spare ribs and flounder are delicious - crispy batter and mixed in with a mix of onions, capsicum, dried onions. Great place if your looking for restaurant style food.

Decent Vietnamese without having to fight for a carpark in Springvale Central. They also have a good range of seafood dishes.
Harley Colson
Easy to park, and conveniently had an Aldi out front. Food was good, I think their menu had a good range without being one of those places that somehow has 300 options on the menu. Do less and do them well. Cheap lunch/dinner, soup was a little bland or watered down, spring rolls were great.

Good place for traditional Viet and Guangdong food. Plenty of choices and priced well.

I opted chicken instead of beef for the dried fried rice noodle. It has the breath of the wok.

Food was very nice the staff were very friendly our order was done very quickly nice place to dine at we will definitely be going back overall great experience.

Food is as good as Springvale however a bit pricier (still cheap though!). Their tea is delicious but they won't reveal what it is damn it!

We were told by staff to wait outside until table will be available. Then all of a sudden 3 rudest people sat straight to the table while it was being clean. Staff did not say anything that someone was waiting, instead gave the menu book!! Stupidity!!!

Yummy. Introduced my husband to this yummy food. One course more than enough. Tea yummy too. No fuss, yummy, yummy food.

Love the food, very reasonably priced and fresh!!

Unbelievable food, staff, menu and amazing service, we will be returning very soon, pleasure to eat at a restaurant that bends over backwards to accommodate customers with special dietary requirements

Had lunch there. Ordered over 10 dishes to share between 7 people and they were yummo. They have great and friendly staff that even allowed us to change the TV channel to wqtch Anzac game. 5 stars all the way!!

Best Vietnamese around, no need to head into Richmond, do yourself a favour. I have to disagree with earlier reviews saying portions are small. Rubbish, you only pay $12.50!!! and still get a good size meal. Oh well you cant please every one I suppose
Sarah Faris
Amazing food and such great staff members. Great environment and the restaurant is always clean and the food is fresh!! Absolutely love this place

My question is how long does it take to cook a banana fritter? Today response to over 40 minutes of my life i can never get back!. I was told by your waitress that it will take approximately 10 minutes, which i totally understand and accept as a payin customer! I waited in my car and observed same waitress, taking the bananas which were semi blak sin in colour! Come on guys it doesn't take 40 minutes to cook a banana in batter! Next time i'll order 24hrs in advance to make sure i can receive my order! Its only a banana!

The worst vietnamese food I've ever had in my life. Simply the worst.

Street Pho is good for combination with crispy noodles, customer service is good and at least you don’t have to have to fight for parking. Each time I have visited I always end up buying this dish. Thank you for being so consistent. Highly recommended :)

They charged me $4 more than the price advertised on zomato
when i questioned it he told me it was old price
That’s not good enough as far as i am concern
They need to honour the advertised price
I will never go back again
Their wait staff also have very poor english and they messed up the phone order too
very frustrating experience overall

Lovely hidden gem in noble park. Gotta check it out if your down that way. You won't be disappointed. Great vietnamese food, pretty big servings, excellent presentation and cleanliness. Very authentic.

Service is slow and unattentative and this was on a quiet day as well. Had to ask for tea several times before they finally brought it out. Food is good however staff forgot to bring out sauce and soup with the broken rice. Careful when chewing as there were few grizzly parts in soup and spring rolls.
Evonvonvon
The combination vermicelli is too good to be described :)

Thanks for the meal!

Ordered a com tam dac biet.

A decent com tam and what you woukd expect from a good place. Well presented and nicely seasoned fried pork. The fish sauce was a tad on the saltier side for my taste though. Nice clean and new restaurant. Will be back!

Went back to one of my favourites. Street Pho is one of my favs they make a great pho. A nice strong broth is a great combination and well priced.

My first week here at Noble Park and it's a massive transition from the Melbourne CBD life. My bestie Pat, who has a Chinese background, was visiting me for dinner. Being new to the place, I was perplexed on how to approach the restaurant culture that Noble Park has to offer. I asked my Aussie housemates about the best Asian restaurant, and they suggested me Street Pho. It turns out; Street Pho is an excellent place which offers gratifying food for a value for money deal.

My first time I am trying Pho, Yes! Its been 1.5 years in Melbourne and my first Pho at this part of the town. As I stepped inside the store, the strong smell of the meat hit my face and at first I didn't like it at all. Pat told me it's the smell of the broth and it's very typical. The staff was very amicable, especially the Vietnamese guy who was patient enough to explain how to eat the Pho.

First, they served us with the bean sprouts, chili, lemon, and basil leaves. I have ordered the Chicken and Beef Pho; Pat ordered the Beef and Beef and Beef Brisket Pho. Priced at a reasonable $12, I fell in love with the dish instantly. As instructed by the staff, I have squeezed the fresh lemon juice into the soup, added some sauce and some chili flakes.

The beef was well cooked, and it was delicious. I liked the combination of Chicken and Beef, both of my favorite meat together. I tasted the beef brisket, the slow-cooked breast section of the flesh, was yummylicious.

The store closes at 9 PM, which is a downside if you are looking for late-night dinner. They don't accept card, and it's a cash-only restaurant. There is a CommonWealth Bank ATM right across the street if in case you need some cash. The restaurant is well maintained and has a well-lit ambiance. We had a lovely time at Street Pho and would love to visit again.

Had the Beef ball Pho and the veggie spring rolls both were excellent! Fresh vibrant flavours and the basil, sprouts lemon wedge and chilies were served on the side. Solid pho, perfect for those rainy days

My favourite local restaurant this side of town!
Consistently good quality, amazing food choices, nice interior, and super reasonable in price. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been eating here since it opened, we come at least once a week. We have tried most of the foods here and they all really good, especially the Pho, egg noodles with chicken/ seafoods (in soup), special broken rice with pork, spicy beef noodle soup. We LOVE the foods here, but I will give 1 more star if the service is more friendly!!!
Melbourne Food Spotter
Authentic vietnamese food! A lot of vietnamese restaurants are now westernised but Street Pho has not lost its culture. Staff is very conservative and doesn't talk much but there food has always been good at every visit. Amazing noodle soups and has a great taste with lovely ingredients If your after classic vietnamese dishes than this place is for you.

Was good when it opened and run by the owners but have been shut down for as they stated in sign in the window - organising proper training for their staff and getting restaurant right - since then they haven't learnt much. Have seen staff making up spring rolls with gloves on using their phones, wiping hair eyes etc. Staff flicking food on floor when wiping tables, I even saw a customer accidentally spill her drink off and under table and they just got a bunch on newspaper and sat it on the floor for her to rest her feet on.....and the next customer also. The greatest by far was discovering a chunk of chicken 3/4 into eating a vegetarian claypot..... 'sorry about that' is all we got. Officially breaking up with you Street Pho.

I'll be friendly and direct I was starving wanted to go ria which over the road but they were closed for renovations my first experience at street phu wasn't good my dish came 20 minutes after my wife's she was all ready finished and I found it to be bland and flavourless I've lived in Vietnam and my wife's vietnsmese I eat vietnamese food everyday but I made the silly mistake of going to street pho again today was really hungry I had 2 mouthfuls and the food was to salty I ended up being sick in there toilets only I enjoyed the cup of tea it a little more expensive than springvale but my advice is don't be tight go the extra 5 minute drive to springvale I know its hard to find parking sometimes but it's well worth the trip I'm not going to be mean I've spoken the truth I'm just over street pho I'd rather eat McDonald's than there foods and I hate McDonald's at least at McDonald's everyone eats at the same time and less chances of having your stomach pumped at hospital I'm not going to ask Street pho to improve because I've given them to chances never again and I won't recommend them to anyone else in actual fact I will warn people and tell them about my experience there and I hope in time Street pho will improve for the sake of other customers health

Street view of the store looks modern and nice. The store itself isn't that big and it was pretty busy when we went for dinner.
The food was very well priced. Ordered the broken rice and didn't have to wait to long for the order to come (maybe 10 or so minutes). Portion size was decent and the food tastes good.
Is recommend and be back.
If you don't want to wait, they also do bookings if you call up before going.

Really nice, genuine local restaurant I frequent. The food is reasonably priced and there is a wide range to choose from. The food itself tastes great and fresh, and the service is good. Definitely reccomend to people in the area.

Am yet to have a bad meal here. Busy little place. The bun/vermicelli salad is amazing! Make sure you get it with the spring rolls and the pork for the full experience!
Phuong Tran
Pho is decent. Broth hasn't got that depth of flavour I like but it's still good. I would come back only if in the area and I really needed my pho fix. Pho good? Mmm kinda pho sho
Recovering Ice-cream Addict
One of my go-to local eateries. Decent food at a very affordable price. The restaurant itself is always clean, and not overly crowded like some popular Vietnamese restaurants in Springvale. Definitely recommend it.
Justin Lim
Rude female staff, the short one with the glasses, she never say hello or thank you to Asian customers, and where was she from!? She’s Vietnamese and she’s Asian too, unbelievable! What is wrong with her!? So uneducated
Kevin Dang
We came here hearing good things about the bun dac biet (vermicelli special) from our friends and they were not wrong! The dish came with vermicelli, salad, springrolls, beef wraps and grilled pork. The serving was enormous that the bowl was overflowing because we struggled to mix it (not saying that's a bad thing!). The springrolls were alright but could be better. Overall, the meal was delicious and filling!

In addition, the tea was awesome! don't know what it is but it's the best tea we've had!

We will definitely come again and would recommend if you're in the area!

Popular local eatery with dishes paying homage to traditional cuisine. Had the Broken rice with pork cutlet, generous serving of rice, slightly overdone egg, juicy cutlet, unremarkable mince pork and pickled veg, ok Terrine. Individually flavoursome, but hit and miss overall. Polite service, clean dining space and gets busy during dining times.
Melissa Phu
The food here is delicious! Very good quality Vietnamese food in the Noble Park area. The ambience is very nice, and rather clean for an asian restaurant.

The broth for the pho, and beef noodles were very clean! The appetiser menu was probably my favourite. All your classic Vietnamese street food on one plate. A bit oily but definitely worth a purchase. I really enjoyed the fried chicken here, crispy and moist at the same time.

The Thai milk tea was delicious, a small glass but filled with a strong aromatic thai tea flavour. Could do another glass right about now 😅😅

Great option for Vietnamese food in the area, as a different option other than Springvale. Standout dish for me is the broken rice. Pho options are always good as well. Lychee & Avocado smoothie's are great also, although can be hit n miss sometimes. Looking forward to returning & trying other dishes on the menu.

Discovered this place because I have recently moved and wanted to get to know the local eateries.
Fantastic find, have been here 4 times in a fortnight with various friends and family.
BYOW, wide choice and Pho not the only thing they do well. There is a Satay Beef offering (yum!) that had one of my friends raving about it every time I saw him and he has flagged the place as a come back to for sure. My parents had a crispy pork on vermicelli noodles that they felt the same way. The Phos offered here are very good comparing with various in Springvale. Price Value equation favours the patron, very friendly and attentive staff, simple decor suitable for the audience / patronage the restaurant pitches to. Lots of Vietnamese come here to eat and in doing so also provide an indication something is going right!
Mistermister
Great little find in Noble Park. Don't have to travel and wait in Springvale anymore. Broth is tasty if anything it could be clearer. Service is friendly. $11 for a bowl. New fav
Obsessedwithfood
We ordered crispy egg noodle with combination, crispy egg noodle with beef and Chinese broccoli and vermicelli noodle special combination. All dishes lacked flavour, just tasted like oil in my mouth and way too much msg(was always thirsty during and after our meals). 2nd dish came out 15 minutes after the 1st. They have young kids working who don’t know how to smile or thank you for your business when you pay and leave. Service is poor overall, food wasn’t good.

The food and the staff was okay. As the name of them is street Pho. I gave Pho a try and it went wrong since the broth is so so salty and FULL of MSG. Let me show you how to tell, you gonna always so desperately thirsty after having soup from this place, since their main theme is pho, hope they had a better taste on pho but they failed me...

The nearby Springvale has lotsa of smiliar food. However I find this place easy to find parking and away from the hassle of the markets there. The pho, egg noodle and vermicelli are fantastic. The place to go when I am in the area. Make sure you come a bit earlier during lunch time...else do take away. Very well priced and my kids love their spring rolls. Their grilled pork vermicelli is my favourite, so make sure u guys give it a try. Will I return..naturally..YES.

4 of us ate here tonight, we had to wait for a table which we thought would be a good sign. We tried various items of the menu, some pictures are listed in my review. Food was nice but we wouldn't rave about it. Service was friendly and attentive although one meal came out about 10 minutes after the others. It's worth giving it a try but we won't be rushing back.

Just tried Street Pho for the first time today. Definitely won’t be the last! Ordered their vermicelli combination (grilled pork, spring rolls and beef in betel leaves) takeaway and it was the best vermicelli salad I’ve ever had! The portion was very generous and worth every cent. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu !

Wow! Noble Park has been bringing in the goods lately. Tried their rare beef & oxtail pho and was pleasantly impressed.
* Broth - really good, clean punchy flavours without being overly salty. Combined with a little lemon juice and you have the perfect broth, almost drank the lot!
* Noodles - decent, not as silky and abundant as other places.
* Meat - long strips of rare beef, pretty average, more tough than melt in your mouth. Oxtail however packed some nice fatty beefy flavours.
* Condiments - your regular additions and sauces. Didn't see any pickled onions but I guess in some places you have to request for it.
* Value for money - Good, not the largest bowl in the vicinity, you'd have to venture out to Springvale for that.

Points for: excellenet Vietnamese food
Dine Time: weekend dinner

Street Pho is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the Noble Park/Springvale area. It's clean and spacious, and they specialise in bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup).

The combination vermicelli noodle salad is one of the best I've had anywhere. Loads of hot crispy springrolls, freshly grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves, caramalised pork marinated in fish sauce, it's really good value.

Stir fried rice noodles has that smokey wok flavour, and the broken rice comes with all the good stuff, including a fried egg and the pork pate.

If you're around the area, drop in for a quick meal, highly recommended!
EatPrayLove
I ordered pork spring rolls, phở special and my hubby had bún bò huế. The spring rolls were fresh and tasted amazing, however phở was not the best - the broth was salty so didn’t enjoy it much and didn’t finish the whole bowl. My husband said the bún was a bit too spicy. Besides that, it is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the local area; the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place is great unlike other ones that have been around. The staff and service were friendly. Reasonable price.

Overall, I will come back but won’t order the phở again.

Disgusting service!!! I had ordered the 'dry egg/ rice noodle soup with prawn and pork intestine' with no coriander and spring onion on a Tuesday night dinner with my family.

The bowl that they had bought out had coriander and Chinese parsley.

Now for people who work in food and hospitality, they would know that Chinese parsley is referred to as coriander/ cilantro in tropical Asia.

I let the staff know that I had ordered my food and side soup without coriander and spring onion and for them to remake this.

They took my food in, most likely consulted the cook and proceeded to tell me it is chinese parsley and not coriander.

Note. My soup had spring onion/corriander in it so they had clearly put it in.

The waitress who took my order came out bought my bowl down to me and YELLED TO ME and told me that next time I should tell them not to put chinese celery in.

Note their menu did not specify that there was chinese celery in it.

I told her that Chinese celery is regarded as the same type of vegetable.

I am embarrassed for this restaurant to have this type of waitress and cooks who can not simply remake a dish without expressing anger AT the customer for an order THEY got WRONG.

I will be informing every single person I know about this disgusting level of customer service from that specific waitress and to the other staff who let that happen.

Disgusting behavior. And people who need to be educated about their foods which they are serving. An allergic reaction is life threatening.

Street pho is a personal favourite when I need to travel to the outer suburbs.
Last time we were in, we ordered rice paper rolls, beef bun and pho.
Rice paper rolls were made fresh and were delicious.
Pho is always a good choice. My personal favourite is the bun, the beef is just always crispy and with some added spring rolls, you really can’t go wrong!
The service is fast and prices are very reasonable.
Super clean outlet that I highly recommend!
Josie Josie
The best rice paper rolls and cheaper than in busier Springvale.Service was fast friendly place was clean basic.Best fried rice and pho. When a resteraunt becomes full of customers like this one it is an excellent sign of their popularity.
Joey Van
Really good pho and bun bo hue, my boyfriend and I come here at least evey two weeks! Soup always comes out really hot which I love! Staff are nice as well.
Vivian
Was actually one of the best bun bo hues I've had in a long time but had to boycott due to their poor hygiene issues. Got a pretty horrible food poisoning episode after eating here so just be careful !!!
Tung Ngo
I have been to all the restaurants in Springvale, tried the popular Pho Huong Vuong in Footscray, and a few places on Victoria Street.

Street Pho has the best tasting pho and bun bo hue I have had the pleasure of eating in Melbourne. The pho has the most beefy flavour and the bun bo hue has the added shrimp paste that takes it to that next level. Something that most places that make bun bo hue don't add!

Come here for the noodles soup! Best things on the menu so why order anything else?
Lizzi Sabo Biro
Best place that offers ..great service.great food..friendly staff.clean enviroment .love all their dishes..couldnt find a better place this side of town

Quality and yummy food. The restaurant is clean and sparkly decoration. Staff is friendly and pay attention to customers. The best restaurant in Noble Park!

This is a long overdue review but a year ago, this place gave me the Sh-ttiest two week food poisoning experience. My parents bought take away hainanese chicken and after I ate it I got really damn sick. Would never come back here (even tho my parents still do, I always face palm when they bring it up).. are you guys asking to get sick or??.. lol..

Pleasantly surprised with the food quality and venue for such a sketchy shopping strip.
I always hesitate to come to this area but the handful of times I have felt brave enough to risk my safety for some Vietnamese (without having to venture to Springvale), I have found myself at Street Pho.

SERVICE: 3/5
Despite the language barrier, they have good intentions to try and make small talk with us whenever we are there. Service with a smile, efficient and never had a wrong order - I'm happy with that.

FOOD: 3.5/5
I actually quite like the pho here. The few occasions I have had it here, the broth has been tasty and quite refreshing...I didn't find it oily or overly salty.
I also get the fried rice noodles with seafood here and thoroughly enjoy the wok flavour through it.
Husband eats the crispy fried chicken on red rice and he is happy with it (kudos as he doesn't rate Vietnamese cuisine).
Prices may be 10-15% more than expected but I don't mind so much seeing as there are limited decent options in this suburb.

DECOR & AMBIENCE: 3.5/5
What got my attention in the first place - the clean, and sparkly decor! Not sitting shoulder to shoulder with other patrons in this spacious set-up was also appreciated. Comfortable and not deafening like other places in Springvale make it a good spot to take kids.

KID FRIENDLY: Yes, high-chairs available
Denise Tran
The pho is average, not that much meat in a large serving either - way too much pho to meat ratio.
Service is average.
We got something completely different to what we ordered and the waitress has no idea what to say or do, she just stood there and stared. We just accepted the order and let it slide but the fried combination rice noodles were very oily and my partner ended up not eating it at all.
Henry
I ordered no. 30 and 6. Sauce for rice paper roll was nice, peanuts in the sauce is so good, but if add more lemongrass would be better. It worth. I will come back again

Signor-Gastronomico
This place provides reliable Vietnamese staples in a clean and cosy environment. I've had their spring rolls and their rice vermicelli with chicken/and beef in betel leaves. I love this dish, so fresh and fragrant with tasty grilled chicken and aromatic beef, accompanied by the sweet chilli sauce. For the $10-$12 you pay it is well worth it. I also like their diced beef with red rice however the portion is too small for my liking.

The tofu was nice but it's surrounding contents were slimy and it had this gooey yellow texture. These type of dishes from all Vietnamese places seem to come out wrong...always slimy, I don't know why they serve it the way they do. Anyways, it was passable.

The service is ok, language barrier is evident but you can get through what you want to order using the numbers. The most recent time we went one of the waitresses continually coughed and was snorting and wasn't even using tissues. Off putting I'd call it. Thank heavens she didn't serve our food to us.

I will return as I like that chicken and beef dish. I don't venture too far in this cuisine, I order what I know. This place is a good alternative to what Springvale offers.
Walked and i ordered wonton soup and spring rolls here. Had a huge craving for won tons. Took a long time for anyone to bring out tea. I have also had the bun bo hue and pho here. Not too bad.
Claire Bella
Love this place!! Definitely "no frills".. but clean and well presented, delicious food, and really reasonably priced. I've been back a few times now.
Jason Tran (PeakPerformanceTechnology)
One of the best place and clean to eat at. Only downside is sometimes the 'Bun Bo Hue' is not available. Travelling to this place and finding out the food you want is not available gets very disappointing. What I do now is call them up before I head down.
Convivialsins
Not usually a patron of venues this side of the woods. But have recently heard great things about this place. Esp for the BBH. Having just finished a bowl .. my immediate thoughts are that its good. Better than expected for a local area outside of the usual Viet burbias around Melbourne. It's not the best but still I'd come back to try other items.

The place is clean, wait staff quick and efficient. COMIE ON!! Do u really go to an Asian joint expecting service? Tea was served as I sat, order taken within 3min.. food came out in less than 5. My order was correct as well. So for me yeah it was a gd experience. I took 10min or so all up to let the iPhone eat first then me. and I was out of there in 15min.

Soup base I would prefer superbowls or even hoa tran. it was good still. They gave a stronger spice flavour. This one is a bit too peperry for mex Besides that it was good.
Ari Golonek
Tried as friends recommendation. Absolutely loved the pho. Good flavour, big portions, good value for money!
Going there again on sunday with fam.
Ravin
Food was OK. However, tables are dirty, and horrible customer service. Waitress was rude and wrote our order wrong then when we said thats not what we ordered she had a go at us. Never coming back
Purse
Value for money and food not too bad either. The waitress with glasses and pig-tail forgot my order and kept me waiting for over 30 mins. However variety is reasonable and serving size is fair. Standard meal is around $10 for lunch. Website says they accept cards & cash but on arrival they have a sign which says 'cash only'.
Murali Janardhanan
Worst restaurant I have recently visited. Inside smells like some rotten something. Food was horrible. Not recommended. I am not going near that place and I have told all my peers the same.
Cookielessvee
nice spacious area with friendly service.

The crispy noodles were thin, had a variety of toppings for vegetarian option but the ginger slices were abit strong for my liking, every bit there would be a strand . The noodles are consistent with some parts crispy and others soft. Wound have been better if the sauce had been thicker so the noodles would have staued crispy longer.

Large sized bun bo hue had a generous amount of noodles and a vibrant salad to compliment it.
Sarah
Very disappointed with the way serviced customers of the new staff. On Saturday we ordered fried rice with chili and lemongrass chicken and chicken fried rice with a new lady ( i haven't seen her before, the short hair one). When it came out, was nothing right to our order. We got steam rice with chili and lemongrass and rice with chicken cashew nuts. I've been told to Michelle and she changed the right one for me but afterward, the one came out with those wrong dishes and said it was our fault and talked seems like force we to get those dish. She didn't even say sorry to us. Though Street Pho need to retrain new staff otherwise you lose customer.

One of the best Vietnamese eats ( other than Springvale) Nice and local fresh clean food. Cant complain as it is such food for value! Yum! My favourite would be the salt pepper pork! Crispy goodness!
One Piece Left
Used to be a great place to stop by for lunch or a quick dinner but the quality of the food has dropped. I normally order the beef (bo luc lac) and dry noodles dish which I used to really like but my most recent visit was very disappointing. The beef cut was different and was no longer soft, the flavour has lost that touch of sweetness to it that I used to like and they changed their noodles. The noodles I had were soggy, soft and horrible. It feels like they have cheapened their produce which is unfortunate.

Been here a few times for a quick Vietnamese fix.. It does the job!
Friendly service 8/10
Freshness and taste 8/10

Better pho out there but definitely ranks in my top 5!

Delicious and so reasonably priced. Wonderful customer service. Best rice paper rolls ever!! Would definitely recommended to anyone in the area.

A second visit to the place to try the bun bo hue - to find scrap cardboard box pieces in the salad. Still had to pay for the meal. Never to visit the place again.

-----

First review:
As below, too much MSG in the pho. Went with family; two of us ordered beef pho after being told the bun bo hue was sold out for our visit at 5:45pm on a Saturday night (unfortunately we were highly anticipating this dish as it looks just beautiful in the photos here). The pho was very tasty, but I suspect this would be due to the copious amount of MSG which was apparently in the soup stock - we were unbelievably thirsty over the hours following our visit. Please reduce the amount of MSG you have in your stock and provide a more genuine flavour. Otherwise, the restaurant is clean, the young staff are cheerful to interact with, the condiments and tea provided on the table are great, and it was busy through our visit (both eat in and take away).

Loved it and will be back!. Visited Street Pho for dinner last night with a friend after reading all the good reviews on Urbanspoon and Facebook, and we were not disappointed. I can only reiterate that the restaurant is very clean, the service was great with lovely friendly staff, the food was fresh and delicious and very well priced (we had the vegetarian and the pork and prawn rice papers rolls $6 and $8, and both had spicy beef pho $10.50 each). I'm in Narre Warren and will be happy to drive to Noble Park to eat here again, we will definitely be back.

Went there with a friend who has moved there. The food is fantastic and for a vegetarian like me, the range is wonderful. They make their sauces and you can tell by the taste and textures. Service is fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. I don't live in the area but work in the area and this place I will go again. A real gem.

Brillant!. I almost don't want to write a review of this places as I know it will become more and more in demand as more people visit. This place is a hidden gem. Great value for money. The food is perfect, every single thing we have eaten has been delicious. The staff are great, the decor is perfect. Probably the only issue is the place is a bit small so as it gets more popular making a booking is going to become more of a necessity. This place is perfect!

SIMPLY THE BEST will do. Fantastic......when I first saw this restruant I walked past it without giving it a second glance because in Noble Park area/Springvale area this type of eatery is typically dirty-noisy-indifferent service and ordinary vietnamese takeout....nothing special............BUT...............when my wife persuaded me to give it a try
...what did I find......
the place was...and still is ..........SPOTLESS...........QUITE...............UNCLUTTERED..................HAS FRIENDLY STAFF...........WONDERFULLY FRESH FOOD.............A SMALL BUT ADEQUATE MENU...............REASONABLY PRICED................AND A VERY WARM ATMOSPHERE THAT TELLS YOU.................COME AGAIN......................YOu`RE MOST WELCOME..............WE WILL CARE FOR YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND GIVE YOU OUR BEST ATTENTION.
Well done STREET PHO....the best Vietnamese restruant in Melbourne.....5 STARS ...120 out of 100.

The wife came here yesterday and just had to pull me along to try out their food.
The restaurant was extremely clean - floors, tables, everything. This place either has very quiet times during the day or they really pride themselves on cleanliness. Either way, it was good too see.
The staff we very friendly and more than willing to accommodate us.
We had some chicken skewers, vegetarian rice paper rolls & like a vermicelli noodle with salad, chicken & spring rolls. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. I would definitely go back, however it's one of those local restaurants- would probably go there once a week if I was a local, but a pain to get there from our house.

Love this place! Can't wait to come back. My friends and I just ate at Street Pho for lunch and we can't wait to come again to try the other things on the extensive menu. The food was so fresh and full of different flavours and the service was excellent. Could not fault Street Pho. I'm keeping this a secret from my other work colleagues so that it doesn't become too busy (sshhh!).

Too much MSG. My husband and I ordered two different of noodles soup, one was pho and another ( I forgot the name, with the spicy flavour). Both of us couldn't finish both, even with the help with our young kid. Maybe we are used to the natural flavour of food, this is really not our flavour with too much MSG.

We'll be back !. Dropped in last night and the Pho was amazing, better than any we have had in Springvale and we use to go to Springvale at least once a week. Street Pho is clean and bright and the staff are really lovely. The customers are many and varied ... Street Pho is now our go-to place.
PS: I struggled with writing this review, I was tempted to keep it a secret!

Great fresh local Vietnamese food. Have eaten here a few times now and the food is great. Very good value for money, love the entre platter for trying 3 different entres. The staff are very freindly and always willing to help with your choice if you are new at Vietnamese food. This place is very family friendly and we go with our 2 yr old who loves it.. Brand new decor in the Vietnamese style and the toilets are very clean. Give it a go and try something different every time.

Yum and clean. Would have to say the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) here is so good. better than the places i have tried in springvale. the pho is good too. nice and clean, not overly oily like it can be at some other pho places. rice paper rolls werent dry like they sometimes can be when made too long ago and comes with the peanut/hoi sin sauce which is the best sauce for rice paper rolls
