Review Surf Club Restaurant - Noosa Heads

Great place for lunch with views looking out to beach. Was there on a Sunday and it was fairly busy but food came out pretty quick. We ordered the hot and cold seafood platter for 2, seafood marinara, steak burger and a kids nugget meal to share between 7 adults and 2 kids. The platter was huge, could easily feed 3-4ppl. They ran out of oysters so we got extra prawns instead which was fine as the prawns tasted fresh. Seafood marinara was good, had quite a bit of seafood in it. Overall the platter was the standout of the meal.

Congratulations this was the most tasteless meal I have ever had. If not for the beer and extra salt we would have not gotten pass the first bite. Even then we left most of our food. I had better in a hospital.

I'd like to say get here early to find a table but it seems it doesn't matter what time you arrive the place will be packed. That's not what I'm unimpressed with. I got myself a rump steak for dinner and it's probably on my top five worst steaks in my life. I can't even go into details. Drinks also were not prepared with any care at all to taste or presentation. This restaurant is a classic case of churn and burn with no care at all if you're going to be a returning customer. It doesn't matter as there will be another 50 to take your place. Do yourself a favour and book ahead for a table elsewhere.

Attended the Surf Club for lunch on a Thursday. Although there was a queue the food came out within 15 minutes and was delicious. The 5 star rating would be comparing with other venues in Hastings Street not only being much more expense but offering sub-service. Best view in town, great atmosphere and well cooked, well priced tasty meals.

For what you pay definitely not worth it. You would think being on the beach the calamari would be freshly made. It was frozen deep fried calamari you would find in a fast food restaurant. 1 star for the view

With Covid restricting travel we have been to a number of the Surf life saving clubs in SEQ and this is one of the better ones! The food is excellent. Try the Sunshine Salad with Prawns - it is fantastic. You need to arrive early of you want a great table! Keep up the great work!

Great place for some beer and fish & chips with an amazing view of the beach.

Great for Sunday lunch! Gorgeous views and the food was pleasant. It was a little pricey for a Surf Club. We ordered the 1kg prawns and calamari. Ended up being about $90. Would come back again.
