Review Aromas Noosa - Noosa

Carol C
Nice looking venue, friendly staff. Menu was a bit pricey, but it was high season. Very well presented F&B. Food taste was good, not amazing though. I’d visit again to try other options.

We were in Noosa for the weekend & visited this place three times. They were one of if not the biggest cafe / restaurant/ bar that didn’t necessarily need a reservation. We were a group of 6. We enjoyed our fri night after dinner cocktails here then brunch on Saturday & Sunday. The food was bright, beautiful, affordable, nutritious & served quickly. We also thought the staff were friendly & helpful. I would go back & would also highly recommend. Ordering via QR code was also convenient for our group, no need to split the bill afterwards or get anyones attention to place an order. Neighbourhood parrots were entertaining, thank you Aromas restaurant!

Beautiful place for breakfast and brunch, coffee was amazing and food was perfect too, we got the Lime and Chill Crab Scrambled eggs 👌👌 they also have alot of GF options (the cakes were delicious)

Honestly the best place in Noosa. I am basically a local and Aroma is not overpriced comparing to other places. Decent Menu ( food and drinks) and the guy running the place is incredible friendly and efficient. Staff is the best in the area really. That's why I come back every year and have breakky every single day at Aroma. Btw the oysters are incredible 😋

It's a good place but it can be a bit crowded even at weekdays. Week came here on the weekday and enjoyed our staying here, it was nice and we had a coffee and cold drink.

Aromas Noosa, QLD Due to Covid, Aromas wasn’t open as often as usual, so we only went once this time for breakfast. Nice busy spot, good selection and service. #AromasNoosa

Excellent meal, the steak was served exactly as ordered. The staff were friendly, and the kids were well taken care of. Great way to spend an evening 😊

We’re regulars to Aromas every time we make a trip up to Noosa, and as you can see we LOVE getting the fresh juices; refresher is the best! The only problems we’ve ever had: - If you go during peak times, wait time can be a bit long so the coffee doesn’t come out very hot. - The coffee isn’t very smooth and is a bit hit or miss. - Steak sandwich is a bit on the fatty side which makes it quite chewy. All of that aside, the family still enjoys coming here after sunny beach days. Always such kind staff!

A Tuesday morning at around 11am and not very busy.<br/>After being seated, I approached the counter and asked for a big breakfast, but wondered if it was possible for the eggs to be fried, rather than the advertised poached or scrambled. The girl hesitates, but agrees, and I applaud her for making the extra effort and let her know it is greatly appreciated and recognise that she has gone the extra mile.<br/><br/>The manager then approaches our table and highlights that it is either poached or scrambled, that’s it, as the kitchen is very busy. I asked if it was ok to cook a fried egg as I do not eat poached or scrambled, he said NO, the kitchen is busy. <br/><br/>I told him to skip the eggs then, and was slightly taken back at his candid and succinct response!<br/><br/>When you’re paying 5 star hotel prices for a cooked breakfast, surely it wouldn’t hurt to fry 1 egg and go above and beyond for your clientele base. I am always the first person to write a review if the establishment or the service has gone beyond the perceived expectation, however, this was not the case.<br/><br/>Then the long black coffee came out and it was less than half full (As pictured). Disappointing and would not recommend purely based on the service. We frequent Noosa and Hasting St regularly, and there are far superior places with better service than Aromas Restaurant & Bar Noosa. <br/>

Thank you Aromas Noosa you have changed my life, I feel Noosa is returning to its high quality self. My vegan bowl was unbelievable, avocado fresh and coconut dressing mmm. Almond cappuccino was ten out of ten. Service ten out of ten. Had a fantastic steak sandwich cooked to perfection, nice aioli and lettuce with fries, the following day. Fantastic chai tea quenched my thirst and tastebuds the Spanish English food attendant made me feel welcome and enjoying my aromas experience. Thanks @brettskilton instagram

We went for the first time this morning and where left feeling very disappointed, after ordering and waiting nearly 30 minutes we got our breakfast, the bacon was very greasy and it was burnt in most places and the poached eggs where extremely over done as well, there is only sourdough on offer which isn’t a big thing but it is nice to have choice and when you ask the staff any questions they get very defensive, there are a lot of other places to try instead

I honestly am torn between 2 and 3... so perhaps a 2.5?<br/>The look and feel for this place is gorgeous. It takes you to any lovely beach place cafe you can think of (Hawaii) and also a European vibe to it with what they’re trying to achieve at the front - look at passerby traffic (very French!)<br/>Anyway - food! Firstly, you pick your own table and have to walk to the counter to order! I guess with the traffic, it probably makes sense to reduce the wait time. But for the price, I expect to have a waiter.<br/>We got the smashed avocado x2, 3 poached eggs and halloumi on the side, bacon and egg, chocolate milkshake, 2 skim flat whites and croissant. Only one coffee came out - and after I asked for mine, I had to wait another 10-15mins for mine with no apology for missing the order...#epicfail! Coffees were lovely though!<br/>Smashed avo - dry! Will do with a drizzle of olive oil. Toast - over done. Too hard! Could almost crack a tooth! But the food was tasty, nonetheless. The milkshake was a bit too large even for my son who loves milkshakes. <br/>I guess for $97 for breakfast for 3 people, you expect nothing but perfect! I know I’m in Noosa so I expect to pay. But at least, expect me to also have high expectations!

Real rating 3.5 stars<br/><br/>We've stopped in a couple of times for cocktails and cake. They have a good range of pretty much everything - breakfast, late breakfast, lunch and dinner, cocktails beer and wine, plus a great cabinet of house made cakes and desserts.<br/>The cakes were lovely and the location is really good, right on hastings street. The coffee is also decent.<br/><br/>They have closely packed tables at the front all facing the street - European style, however the view is just of the traffic passing by. If you go inside or further around the back you'll get a table with more space.<br/><br/>The service is friendly but a bit relaxed. We normally have to get our own water and flag down someone every time we want to order something.<br/><br/>

Decided to finally review one of my usual haunts! Aromas Noosa is an absolute must do in Noosa if you’re after Parisian modern Australian vibes! Still pretty hagged from last nights festivities (see my Bistro C review for all you need to know) i decided to indulge my tastebuds in some hair of the dog and scrumptious bites. We were seated by the fountain by a gorgeous bronzed Hercules type barely legal young man, he gave us our menus but i quickly interrupted him with yet another sidecar request...you know what they say about sidecars at 1:30pm in the afternoon! Ha! My company opted for some Bellini’s and French Martinis! YUM! Our food arrived very quick ! Super impressive as it was packed! Not only was i making eyes at my cos salad....but i was also making eyes with no less then 4 greek gods! One of them behind the bar was an exact lookalike of the scrumptious Jake Gyllyenhal! No complaints ;)! Not going to lie extremely happy my husband wasnt present! Ha! Will always love this Hastings St Hub.

Went here after dinner for coffee and tea. The service was so bad. Rude rude rude and also could not get a simple drinks order correct. Lucky I did not attempt to eat here

Went to Aroma’s one of NOOSA’s favorite eateries - ordered the salad with prosciutto, egg, cos lettuce, chicken . . . on menu with Ceasar dressing - so let’s call it for what it is - a chicken Cesar salad . . . had travelled all the way from Melbourne, had a shocking day and was thirsting for Ceasar salad and beer . . . have to say the salad was the worst I’ve ever had, ever (and I am a conesur of Caesar’s) . . . the prosciutto was not cooked - yep pretty well cured meat across a salad, chicken was cold, egg was cold and was laced with red onion shavings (not mentioned in menu) . . . this is not to say all food at Aroma’s is bad, but please call the meal on the menu for what it is - a cold, cured meat salad - should be an appetiser - the manager was great, he allowed me to have a new meal, which was their bacon and egg burger, but again guys the chef scrambled the egg and cooked in a egg ring - a second not great meal . . . . menu should have said scrambled egg burger . . . staff never mentioned any of these points - there’s a lot of competition in Noosa, grew up here, uncle was Noosa’s original most famous restauranter and chef, so Aroma’s if you get the basics right - such as Caesar salad - then the people will follow . . . sadly I won’t be going back to many other and better options 😩

Great at coffee. Where they succeed at Coffee, they fail at tea. Why do baristas perfect their coffee making skills and not care less about tea? I can’t figure it out. This tea was so weak, I had a tea bag in my bag and put it in the pot. It still tasted like dishwater, and I don’t take my tea all that strong.
Salt&Pepper
I ordered two medium takeaway coffees<br/>One was supposed to be just a flat white, no sugar, though it came with sugar.<br/>The other a soy flat white with sugar. I asked for the milk to just be warm, not too hot, the waitress rudely mentioned that it was a weird request... and ironically I received a scolding hot burnt coffee with NO sugar. Milk was clumpy, had to spit it out! <br/>We asked for medium, got given the tiniest damn cups I’ve ever seen in my life.<br/>$9.40<br/>Total waste, don’t recommend.
Anna001
The apple cake was super yum, the Mississippi mud cake could have been tastier, the avo toast was super yum but needed less rocket. Service was nice although it is a bit annoying that you have to order up front in the morning, esp when there are long lines
Lucy Wells
Food and coffee both quite bad.  Croissant not fresh. Definitely not worth the hype at all.  Location is good, but that's about it! I wouldn't recommend bothering.
Sarah Williams
Good quality but a bit overpriced!<br/>I’ve only come here for breakfast and lunch and the service has always been good. Can get a bit slow at times due to there being quite a few customers. <br/>The fresh juices are always refreshing and the iced chai lattes are a must have.

Always an interesting place to dine. Great after a long day on the beach. Their display cabinet toasties and sweets are great for a family of 4. We have dined many times for dinner and have never been disappointed. The best dinner meal I have had was a pasta with scallops. The chef made it especially xo

We went for a family dinner here on good Friday. It was extremely busy however the staff were great, we were seated and our drinks and food orders taken in a timely fashion. While we waited We listened to the live music. We were not to hungry but my son and I ordered the stake fritas and my wife orderd the entreè of prawns. I ordered medium rare wish came out exactly as I ordered it which id's normally a bit of a challenge. My wife enjoyed her prawns. Overall a really nice night.

2/5 rating. The place is always busy but my food was pretty average with an extra in it I don’t want to discuss. Eek. <br/><br/><br/>The aforementioned item Was taken off the bill but as soon as that happened the female staff just pretty much said leave as I’m wiping the table and my little one didn’t even finish his muffin. <br/><br/>I guess shooo along the ones who complain 😂💁🏻‍♀️ <br/><br/>The juice though was great and the lovely girl who served me was terrific as was the manager.
MissTiss
The Tuna Nicoise salad here is delicious! The tuna was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was very fresh. Have come here twice and have enjoyed it both times, However... I was very surprised to be informed by the waitstaff that it's impossible to have the egg removed from the salad or even placed on the side... Obviously my mother and I found this very amusing due to the absurdity. Our waitor politely informed us that several guests had asked for the egg to be removed and that it wasn't allowed? Too bad if you are allergic to eggs or don't like them I suppose 😀

Ordering drinks or food takes so long. I can't understand why the barista has to serve people. They should have a separate person for that. The line of customers gets longer as the barista completes the orders one by one. Also at those prices l should get table service. It's a really nice place. Maybe the staff turnover is constant with young travelling people which counts for slow service.
Peter White
Great spot, placed in the absolute centre of Hastings St, albeit with no views of which to speak. Busy busy. Great Parisian rattan chairs and tables lined up like the French do.<br/><br/>Table service, but having to order at the counter is lazy. Don’t love it. The coffee isn’t quite good enough either. Watery, bitter - tells me they’re not cleaning the machine enough for the volume they do, and are pulling too long a shot. Need barista training.<br/><br/>Scrambled eggs are old school, still made with milk - who does that nowadays? They’re insipid and tasteless. The bacon is however great.<br/><br/>The weird turmeric shot isn’t for the faint hearted - boot shudderingly sour. The fresh juices are really quite nice, so too the banana smoothie.<br/><br/>But the service is SO slow and disjointed. Dishes arrive well apart - daughter finished for more than 25mins before ours arrived. Her attention was lost.<br/><br/>Oh, and microwaving a beautiful croissant to warm it is never ok.
Cavendish
Pretty busy cafe on Hastings St - great spot to people watch. Service was pretty quick. No table service but order at the counter. Ordered the big breakfast which was pretty standard - nothing too special. Tomato on the plate was raw which was odd. Nice enough just not a place I’d rush back to when I’m back in Noosa.
Val
The worst food you ca possibly eat. Overpriced rubbish. They try so hard with their fancy recipes but none of them work. Do not be fooled by all the people having coffees thinking that they are in France. Do your self a favour and go somewhere else!
JKGasMan
Lovely dinner with the family here. <br/>Food : great tasting food (ordered the scotch fillet, calamari and side of fries, and kids meals) with generous portions.<br/>Service : courteous and efficient<br/>Ambience : the best we've had so far in Noosa. Children could roam around in the courtyard while having a dance to the live music there. Live music only on Thursday and Sunday evenings.
Carina Shen
Just had our breakfast here, eggs were smelling and rare after we told them we want our eggs cooked. Service was terrible, the waitress almost dropped our plates on our table. Not recommended at any circumstances.
Lana Dixon
This review is purely on the food. Very busy restaurant with an outlook of Hastings Street, Noosa.......food came out within ten minutes. Order at the counter and they don't do entrees.
Darren Turnbull
Long queues result in slow service. If you want to order a coffee and an orange juice you have to stand in 2 queues. They like to pretend they have a european atmosphere but that wouldnt happen in Europe!
Till.weinhold
We are with two groups of 10 people each here. Sadly it wasn't too pleasant. The service was slow and rude. Food took forever (1:20h wait for food) and a number of meals were much too salty. Would not come back here.
Anna Mysliborski
3 meals in 2 days. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals were gluten free as advertised and even the modified on request. Service was very quick and friendly!
Andrew
Holidaying up on the coast and decided to head up to Noosa for Brunch. Aromas was our choice for Brunch after walking up and down Hastings street. The place was packed, as it was a lovely day and we managed to score a seat outside - lovely spot for some people watching. <br/><br/>I decided to go for the big breakfast because I was so hungry and we ordered some of the smoothies. Prices were exorbitant - but this is Noosa, so you have to expect that. I don't mind paying for quality, so I was hoping the price would be reflected in the final product. First up were the smoothies - these were $9 a pop, but delicious and refreshing. My berry concoction was delicious and I had to fight the rest of the table to keep it to myself. Our meals arrived reasonable quickly, I had asked for scrambled eggs - they came out in a bowl on the plate and they seemed like they could have been microwaved. There was some sort of watery residue at the bottom of the bowl . A massive disappointment on the egg front. At $28 I would at least think they could cook scrambled eggs properly... The bacon was really good though, and the rest of the plate was passable. My cousin's eggs benedict were ok - although the poached eggs were over cooked. My wife had wanted fried eggs, but they only offered scrambled or poached - Again her eggs were over cooked. <br/><br/>I get that this is a holiday destination, so you don't need to worry about repeat customers like you might in the suburbs - but seriously - if you are going to charge these prices, at least learn to cook eggs.
Frances Mona
My husband and I came here at least half a dozen times in a few days of holidays. Obviously we enjoyed the atmosphere this popular and efficient cafe has to offer: great location. Coffee was decent and coffee frappe really nice. <br/>We had lunch one day- scallops were overdone.<br/>The outward facing chairs add a fun people watching element. Staff are all quite nice and service is friendly
Jeremy
Food is delicious! Service is horrible! I was scared every time they came to our table! No manners, no smile, attitude. Thank you very much, we won't return!
Phil Hare
We stayed 3 nights in Noosa, and ended up eating 3 times at Aromas. I liked the food each time, but what impressed me most was the exemplary service. It hit exactly the right notes of attentiveness, care for what we wanted, and friendly demeanor of the staff. <br/><br/>For people watching, for good (not great, but certainly quite good) food, and service that is top quality, I recommend it.<br/><br/>Worth visiting at least once - just remember that it charges Noosa prices.
Chippie
We came here for coffee and a sweet treat and found the coffee to be substandard and the man that made the coffee was as unpleasant as the coffee. Disappointed by this cafe on our first visit to Noosa.
Emma
Me, my little brother and dad came here for a drink and bowl of chips after a day at the beach. We sat down and ordered a bowl of chips, I ordered a bottle of cider, my dad ordered gin and tonic and my brother had a glass of coke. <br/>We received our chips after 5-10 mins, 15 mins later once the chips are finished we recieved my brother and dad's drinks. I asked the waiter if mine was coming, he said it won't be a moment. 15-20 mins past, my family has finished their drinks and I'm still waiting for the bar staff to open a bottle of cider. Mind you, it wasn't busy at the time. <br/>My dad went up and asked where it was and received no apology at Solzhenitsyn just an eye roll from a rude blonde bartender. A couple of minutes after that we rexieved our drinks. I have worked in customer service before so I understand things can be forgotten, but it was not our fault and we were treated as if it was. My dad went up to ask as we had finished everything else on our table and we couldn't fathom how it takes longer to open a bottle of cider than it does to make a gin and tonic. <br/>I will never come back because if there is one thing that puts me off, it's rude staff.
Kate Mitchell
Over priced and rude staff. $6.10 for a coffee I had to take to my table myself. Never coming back, do not recommend!!
Chris Byrne
Absolutely love this place,is such a relaxed friendly place with  a classy funky vibe, very prompt and fast service, great food and drinks, best coffee ,being open and partly outdoors gives a casual relaxed feel ,a must if you visit noosa heads

If you are in Noosa and want somewhere to chill out and have the best Ice Chocolate you have ever had then Aromas is the place to go. Do your self a favour.
Lachlan
Great service - friendly staff - been a regular every year since about 1991 - food is good, service is good and ambience is great Nothing is too much trouble for the staff
Zo Kan
Been here quite a few times to sit down and watch the world go by. But only for coffee or drinks. Really good location and great for a caffeine hit at any time of the day. Can't wait to sit down for a meal here.

I'll make it short and sweet. Aromas is in a great location but you will pay for the convenience. The food quality is ok and certainly doesn't justify the price tag. An example of this was the kids pancakes at a whopping $10 for two tiny things with some maple syrup over the top. It's deplorable charging $5 per pancake which is simply flour, water and some milk.<br/><br/>The salmon and egg special was regular street fare with one of the eggs being over cooked. The highlight was the green juice but at $9 for half a regular glass it had to be good.<br/><br/>In closing, I can't recommend Aromas purely for the gross pricing and average food quality.<br/><br/>Food 5/10 service 6/10 decor 4/10
David Loves Food
The steak sandwich with fries and ice coffee were great!!! So was the service, interior, exterior and the atmosphere! You can sit back, relax and watch the world go by.
Skye Peck
Friendly, attentive, chatty staff. The food was enjoyable but like many things in Noosa everything was overpriced. Good coffee and Chai latte and quite a nice atmosphere.
Foodie
Shocking experience. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were disappointed as everything we ordered or any contact with the staff was a mix up and everything we had to do with the restaurant was an failure. I shall not be dining at this restaurant again.
Lysette Foster
Some friends and I came to dine at Aromas for dinner. The service was extremely slow and when our food came it was cold and the pumpkin soup we ordered tasted like cheese. My order was forgotten about and the manager tried to entice me with a free glass of wine. My friend sent back multiple dishes and the overall experience was terrible. "My tomato was soggy."
Qwerty
Very cramped with all the tables so close together when busy. I had the pancakes and they were bad and very dry, the strawberries definitely were not fresh. Unpleasant dish
Christine A
We visited cafe aromas on our recent trip to Noosa. It came recommended as a good place for breakfast and it was convenient. We ended up having breakfast here most mornings as it was good. We usually had the portobello mushroom and bacon & eggs with 2 coffees. Food and coffee was consistently good and it was nice to sit out and watch people go by.<br/>Would return next time in noosa.
Monkeyboy
Average breakfast. Had a mid morning brekky this morning as it's right out the front of our hotel. Coffee was ok but our breakfast was just above average. Plenty of other options to explore before going back here.
SB
Fine for drinks - avoid any bar food, can't even get fried calamari right and the baked camembert comes with 'croutons' that could break your teeth. So simple, total fail.

Located in the middle of Hastings St, with a collection of wicker chairs all facing outwards, it's hard to miss the iconic Aromas at Noosa. Modeled on a French cafe, Aromas is where to go to people-watch while getting your caffeine fix. It's kind of like watching reality TV but with fewer punch-ups and you can get cheesecake here.  So what's life like on the boulevard? Let's take a look. I had been to Aromas many moons ago, and came away thinking it was a pretty standard cafe, with slightly hexy prices based on its location. While we were up for the 2015 Noosa Food and Wine Festival , we decided for a pit stop into Aromas again to see if things had changed. They had. While the prices are still on the more expensive side of things (mains start at $30), you do get some real quality food and drinks for your coin. Below we had: Hervey bay scallops, apple, cauliflower, preserved lemon, black pudding House made lemonade I was pretty excited with the prospect of black pudding with the scallops. It was an interesting addition to these seafood morsels, and worked so well. The scallops themselves were a little over cooked, but you could still tell they were using some super fresh produce. The apple and bits of preserved lemon lifted the dish brilliantly. The house made lemonade was a winner too, with piles of fresh lemon and lime squeezed into the glass. It was beautifully refreshing with the scallops.

The best thing about this cafe is the location - great for people watching.

Service with a sneer!. It is amazing how out of a large staff of friendly people, one can spoil all the good work of the others. For the second time we have been served by the girl on the first coffee machine, we have come away feeling angry with her attitude to her customers. If you don't like dealing with the public then find a job where this is not a requirement.
Gamcd85
Can't even poach an egg. Great location, great ambience but when your bacon and poached eggs arrive with hard eggs it's very disappointing. The food certainly doesn't match the price tag.
Mandy Blumenthal
Pretty cool/Parisian set up which is great for people watching! Came here for some cocktails, and left with smiles as Harvey has fantastic customer service! Thanks Harvey!

Nice meal friendly service. Market fish and prawn and scallop linguini for main courses<br/>Both well presented and the fish was fresh and tasty<br/>Serve size a little small. <br/>Prices reasonable perhaps a little bit high<br/>Good kids menu but we didn't have children with us<br/>Would go back...
Authenticity
Okie food (too salty) just good location and fancy seating area.

Thoroughly unimpressed. Came here for coffee with a few friends and we all went up and ordered. I found it surprising that all the staff were consistently rude and abrupt; not to mention that they found it "confusing" to take our order for 2 caramel mochas, and 1 white mocha. If you can't do an order for 3 coffees then don't be a barista. And if you are having a bad/long day, unfortunately for you it is part of your job to entail some form of customer serive when dealing with the public. It's really not that hard to crack a smile.
Ryan
$5 for a green tea.... Believe it or not...
Kat
Went for dinner on a busy Saturday night. Classy yet relaxed atmosphere. Zucchini flower entree -delicious. Mains: glazed duck special and pork belly. Delightfully tender and full of flavour. Hazelnut meringue dessert- amazing. Wait staff were friendly, smiling and very attentive without hassling or hovering. Meals were smaller than expected for the price however flavour and impressive waitstaff more than made up for it. Will be returning.

Great cake n margaritas but the mole who served ya is a cow
Lana
Other than it being slightly expensive, we had a delicious breakfast here! Highly recommend the mango and coconut toasted bread, was absolutely beautiful! Nice healthy juices as well!
Aidellaz
What a waste of money. Just had what was supposed to be linguine, tasteless and overpriced.
MattCS
Over priced with small serving and casually slapped together food. Better breakfasts at the industrial park tuck shops.
Mark Gill
Low quality food, service that's inattentive until you've NEARLY finished your food and then they want rid. Much better value options on Hastings St.
Bundi Pantelis
Overpriced for the size of the meal
MC
4 of us ate lunch here on a Saturday. And for $127 for 4 it was an absolute disappointment. <br/>A mushroom tart we ordered was a piece of puff pastry with some sautéed mushrooms thrown on top. <br/>A chicken salad was a few leaves, 3 walnuts and half a piece of beaten up chicken breast.<br/> The meals are too small for the prices and were mediocre. <br/>My juice was half juice foam, half juice. The menu sounded delicious but the food needs much more love and an upsize! Disappointing.
Hungryandhonest
They seem excited about bacon.. Wow, Aromas Noosa. I did not enjoy this place at all. These are my reasons:<br/><br/>-the wait is ridiculous. If you cannot serve patrons in a timely manner, you shouldn't have so many seats out... Our breakfast took 40 mins to come (eggs benni, very easy) 20 mins of that was me sitting alone at the table with nothing in front of me because my husband had to wait at the counter for his coffee all that time. And the eggs Benedict came with bacon instead of ham, seems like they are trying to cut costs.<br/><br/>-the food is insultingly overpriced. We stayed at the sebel and ordered room service on our last day. They got our order wrong and added bacon to our meals, but we had no idea. We were charged TWELVE DOLLARS for 4 rashers of extra bacon alone. And it was cheap middle bacon, not Candian streaky or whatever would warrant that price.<br/><br/>Enough said.
James Morphy
Great coffee, never had ruder staff serve me anywhere in the world. But really good overpriced coffee!!!
Lucy
Best Cafe in Noosa by far!. My favorite cafe in Noosa. Totally delicious food - best breakfast, excellent coffee, free newspapers - and gorgeous atmosphere - casual, but somehow still stylish. Paris at the beach. The essence of Noosa, I guess. The daily breakfast specials are the way to go. And the melting moments (cookies) in the jar on the counter are always fresh and totally delish. Can you tell I love Aromas?
Decmurphy
Great location for people-watching on Hastings St. Had breakfast, morning tea and dinner at various stages this week. Kid-friendly. Excellent all round
Allison Marsh
Bad, uninspired food. While the outward facing cane chairs make you want to grab a seat and people-watch (very European in style,) atmosphere is about the only thing this place has going for it. We stopped in once for a coffee and ordered extra hot but got extra lukewarm I'm afraid. We decided to come back for dinner the next night because we wanted something light and they had a few smaller item categories which we could get just that. Husband had the thai soup on special which was tasty, but definitely was a blended pumpkin soup with thai-like spices and mushrooms added in (strange.) I had the seared shrimp entree with fennel and grapefruit salad. Shrimp were cooked fine but small and too salty and the fennel was almost non-existent. We also got an order of chili-lime pak choi and green beans which were really bland. Overall it seemed overpriced and just uninspired. Too bad because the atmosphere really makes one want to sit down and stay for a while...
Debbie Smith
The beat cafe to have breakfast in Noosa. You may have to wait a little while for food, but the waiter tells you how long you will wait at the time of ordering. The wait is well worth it, with only the best products used. Love the atmosphere.
Foodcritics
Chef is either an idiot or arrogant... Had the chorizo, potato and warm egg salad.... To start with chorizo used was actually kabana.... I wonder if the chef knew or just didn't care? Was way too oily.... I won't be going back there again
MissCharli
Priced for the location. Lunch for 2 on a Saturday. Not normally one to complain about price, I will on this occasion. For prices in the high $20s I object to ordering at the counter (not table service) and receiving less than generous portions. Though, the food had modern presentation and tasted good. The prices are probably indicative of the hastings street location.
Jamie Parry
:) !. Really good coffee here!<br/>Defiantly come back when we are in Noosa again

Popped in for breakfast after walking the national park. Great coffee, polite attentive staff and a very good Bircher muesli. Will be going back for my week in Noosa!!

Had the most beautiful carrot cake and chocolate brownie! Great service from a Hungarian guy - he should get staff member of the year!! So friendly and great customer service!

Fantastic home made cake. Aromas carrot cake & chocolate brownie was just divine and the coffee was beautifully presented and delicious. The barista was very friendly and helpful.<br/>Definitely lived up to my expectations, I will be back.

Again and again. First stop on arrival at Noosa every time, good service ,good coffee and good staff. This is a very busy place right in the heart of Hastings St, because of this sometimes there is a queue, got to expect that. It is a great place to sit and watch the many different people of the world saunter by.

I have been coming to aromas for many years now, every now and then my family and I try other place but it just never leaves me feeling the way I do after coming here. Breakfast Is to die for, the eggs are just PERFECT! And to finish my favorite eggs benny, a double shot flat white (in smaller cup called "tulip") my morning couldn't get any better. <br/>We have dinned here for dinner plenty of times also, the transformation into the ambiance of dinner is amazing with the quality of food to match. <br/>Put simply - aromas is simply the best

Fantastic. My family and I visited Aromas for the first time only recently - despite holidaying in Noosa for several years. It was a miserable day, very wet, and we only went in to escape the rain really. The girl who met us was very friendly, took us to a table and showed us where to order. It seemed pretty busy and we had to queue maybe 5 minutes to order coffee? My husband and I both like our coffee in a particular way but the barista seemed to know exactly what we wanted and made us both excellent coffees. I now know to ask for a 'strong Bongo'! Everyone was very busy, but they took the time to ask about our holiday and apologise for the weather! - they seemed genuinely interested in us. I also loved watching the coffee being made right in front of me instead of just being brought out.<br/>The rain didn't stop and our beach day looked like a wash-out so we decided to have more coffee and order breakfast. Best eggs Benedict EVER! And our two girls stuffed themselves on the fruit pancakes.<br/>Our hotel was near Gympie terrace, and there are other good restaurants closer - but we revisited Aromas several times over our 2 weeks in Noosa and by the end of our holiday we were recognised and treat like regulars :) The 'Strong Bongo' lady will be back!

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and every time the food has been outstanding and the staff, very accommodating. The prices are well worth it for the high quality of food being served. I have my sources and know that pretty much everything you see on the menu is made from scratch right there in the kitchen. Right down to the baked beans and sauces and muffins etc... And all the meats and fish used in their dishes are sourced from the freshest and highest quality retailers. So you get what you pay for.

Great staff, food & coffee. Perfect location, friendly floor staff. Baristas are highly skilled and quick, coffee is the way I like it: hot and strong.<br/>I have tried Aromas a few times in the last couple of years and it is "The Place" to meet on Hastings Street for a cuppa or even a romantic dinner.

Noosa's Best.... Always buzzing, Aromas on Noosa's Hasting Street is probably Australia's best located cafe restaurant. Whether you're after coffee and bacon eggs for brekky, a cold beer and hot chips for lunch or a cocktail and duck confit for diner this is THE place to been seen eating and drinking in Noosa. The staff are professional and courteous and the people watching is one of Noosa's great pastimes.

More disapointing than Average. This restauant lacked as a whole, after being seated the staff forgot about us, if they had kept up service we possibly would have gotten relaxed enough to be fooled. the menu was LIMITED, no options, and the food that was served was tasteless, low quality ingrediants ( the steak served was riddled with fatty grizzle, impossible to chew. Ive had better steaks at $5 steak night at the pub) unfinishable! the wine is nastey and highly over priced, infact every menu item was overpriced for quality served.<br/>DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF EATING HERE!

What a SHOCKER. My boyfriend took me here for Valentines Day...What an absolute joke! The blonde girl at the door didn't seem to have a clue as to what she was doing and our waitress seemed run of her feet. We sat for ages waiting for our drinks. When we finally ordered, the waitress had a difficult time telling us what we could and couldn't have. She had to go back to the kitchen twice to see if what we wanted could be done, and even then she wasn't sure. When we finally got our food, IT WAS THE WRONG ORDER! We also noticed other tables around us that were also waiting for long periods of time with nothing in front of them. <br/>I was very disappointed in the whole experience and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Waitress was incredibly rude at the counter, we walked up, the person I was with ordered a coffee, I was contemplating what I wanted, the waitress then said "can you decide so I can make them at the same time..." To which I just ordered what my friend had. $10 for two coffees. I didn't see a price list anywhere near the counter or I wouldn't have bothered.

Didn't like it. My friend and I walked in for a coffee, a staff member walked right past us and didnt greet us or ask us if we wanted a table or to just seat ourselves. So we ended up just getting a takeaway coffee. The waitress at the counter was incredibly rude, I said what I wanted then she said to my friend could you tell me what you want so I can just make them at the same time even though my friend had just said I can't decide what I want. <br/>It was $5 for a small takeaway coffee. Starbucks in brisbane CBD is cheaper and larger and no where near as rude S that awful barista. Not coming back.

Great Place. The situation is great. Right on Hastings with Paris style seating facing the street, so you can people watch and enjoy the atmosphere. The coffee is great as is the breakfast and dinner both of which I have enjoyed many times. Whenever I am in Noosa its the first place I head for.

Hastings St. Hey all you whingers and moaners, Aromas is situated in one of the most expensive retail strips in Australia. If you think it's too expensive there is a Subways nearby which may suit your tastes and budget better.

Great for a coffee and a "sit and watch" on Hastings Street but the food is way too expensive for the quality that arrives on your plate.

They are definitely relying on their location for business. Paid $30 for essentially an average fruit salad with 5 small prawns on top. So many places with the same prices and much better quality food. Very disappointing.

Highly recommend!! Best coffee in Noosa, staff are always friendly and happy! Had an amazing breakfast there on the weekend and even knowing it was packed did not have to wait very long!! Cannot wait to try from the dinner menu!!

YUM!. I frequent Aromas Noosa especially for breakfast and a morning coffee. The staff are always friendly, the food (poached eggs are always fabulous), and the coffee is of the highest standard. <br/>Prices may be a little on the high side, but well worth it for a front row seat on hastings street!

Terrible, just terrible. The experience we had was consistent with the reviews below. At least they're consistent.
