Review Depot Cafe - Noosaville

Walking along the river front looking for breakfast, so many cafes, so many choices until I heard a warm welcome greetings from the lady. Walked into this beautiful renovated modern cafe with lots of choices and special Padre coffee bean. The lady brought out colouring pads to entertain the little ones while we pick our morning fuel. Lots of choices on the menu but the lady picked Buddha bowl and I picked the big brekky only fit for a growing young man/dad who loves his protein. We were not disappointed. Awesome coffee with many alt milks to choose from, follow by freshly prepared, nutritious, well presented yummy food. Man, we were full from within, so much so that we need another walk along the river again, with take-away cake and slices in our hands ;)

The menu on offer here is a bit different from the norm, which made us stop for lunch at the Depot Cafe. Finding a table overlooking the water added to the experience. Wanting a light healthy lunch ticked the boxes and was delicious for me.

This place was packed when we arrived but the staff were still incredibly friendly and attentive. The dishes were nicely presented, well proportioned and reasonably priced. What really set this place apart was it's customer service and is why I highly recommend visiting.

Before talking about the food or coffee I want to mention that this 5 stars rating is for the excellent, genuine, and generous service :) Coffee and food is very good too. Highly recommended for breakfast.

Great spot in Noosaville for a quick and tasty feed. Would recommend the veg nachos. They don't skimp on the portion either.

An amazing cafe experience in Noosa with really well trained, friendly staff. The place is bustling with customers and the wait is very reasonable given the amount of customers they have! Definitely worth trying if you’re visiting the area.

Eggs Benny with extra hollandaise 🤤. Absolutely delicious. Hubby had the big breakfast which was also amazing! Portion sizes were extremely generous and the price was great. Friendly staff. Can't wait to come back to try more of the menu!

Generally a good spot for brunch. Vibe, portions and menu were fine, I'd just expected more flavour from the food - both meals tasted a bit bland.

We had a great breakfast here recently and I really liked the menu and the focus on clean food and healthy options. What I was disappointed about was the fact they did not also focus on the health of the planet because ultimately this is effecting our health especially considering such a beautiful location and it’s proximity to the water. When you are ‘eating in’ there is absolutely no need to serve in single use plastic and throw away coffee mugs - it is either ignorant or lazy. It is not just plastic bags ending up in our waterways - it’s all our waste and we are literally drowning in the stuff. It just doesn’t make sense to be eating in and using an item for a few minutes that will be tossed away but never go away. Please convert to reusable and paper straws and become a ‘Responsible Cafe’

Possibly the worst cafe I have ever been to! Very over priced, as I payed $23 for a croissant and regular juice. Staff were very abrupt and you could hear the manager arguing with other staff behind the counter numerous times. To top it off they couldn’t print me a tax invoice. I watched staff completely ignore other customers waiting at the counter as they talked amongst themselves and a few tables got meals before even getting their coffee... sadly for a cafe that only had a few full tables no one looked impressed.

Stopped in for a yum omelette overlooking the water. Hubby's bacon eggs beans mushrooms etc was very generous. Busy place. Lovely staff. One I'd go back to for sure.

Absolutely loved this amazing cafe! � So many healthy yummy choices. ��� Hubby and I enjoyed the chicken burger loaded on with fresh salad and to finish shared the buckwheat blueberry & banana pancakes to with turmeric latte's. Relaxed atmosphere with great friendly service. Will definitely be back to try more of this awesome food. ����
